1 2/3 c Flour
1 c Light brown sugar
1/4 c Cocoa
1 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 c Water
1/3 c Oil
1 ts Vinegar
3/4 c Vanilla extract
1/2 c Semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c Ripe banana (1 md)
Heat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour 8x8x2" square pan. In a small
mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Add
water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla. Stir in mashed ripe banana; beat
until smooth. Pour into the prepared pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips
over the top. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until a wooden toothpick
inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in the pan on a wire rack.
Cut into squares.
