     Title: Peanut Butter Chocolate Poke Cake

15 1/4 oz Box chocolate cake mix
     2 ts Vanilla extract; divided
       ds Salt
   2/3 c  Creamy peanut butter
    28 oz Sweetened condensed milk
          - (2 cans)
     1 c  Confectioners' sugar

          Peanut butter-filled
          - sandwich cookies,
          - peanut butter cups, or
          - combination of both;
          - chopped

 Set oven @ 350 F/175 C.

 Prepare cake mix according to package directions, adding 1 ts
 vanilla and salt before mixing batter. Transfer to a greased 1x9"
 baking pan. Bake and cool completely as package directs.

 Whisk peanut butter and milk until blended. Using the end of a
 wooden spoon handle, poke holes in cake 2" apart. Slowly pour
 2 cups peanut butter mixture over cake, filling each hole.
 Refrigerate cake and remaining peanut butter mixture, covered,
 until cake is cold, 2 to 3 hours.

 Combine remaining vanilla and remaining peanut butter mixture;
 gradually beat in enough confectioners' sugar to reach a spreading
 consistency. Spread over cake. Add toppings as desired. Refrigerate
 leftovers.
