     Title: Chocolate Cherry Cake

     Yield: 1 servings

     1 pk Chocolate cake mix; 18 oz
     2    Eggs
          Canned cherries; 21 oz
     1 ts Almond extract
          Icing:
     1 c  Sugar
     5 tb Butter or margarine
   1/3 c  Milk
     1 c  Chocolate chips

 Grease and flour a 9 x 13" cake pan.  Turn on oven to 350
 degrees. Combine cake mix, cherry filling, eggs, and almond
 extract.  Stir all the ingredients together until very well
 blended. This is thicker than a regular cake batter.
 Spread in the cake pan.  Bake for about 30 minutes or until
 a toothpick comes out clean.  Meanwhile, combine frosting
 ingredients, except chips, in a saucepan.  Bring to a boil
 over medium heat, stirring constantly until it comes to a
 boil.  Continue cooking and stirring for one more minute.
 Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until they
 are all melted. Spread warm frosting on the warm cake.
