MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05

     Title: Black Walnut Taffy

     Yield: 1 Batch

     2 c  Sugar
     1 c  Molasses
   1/2 c  Sweetened condensed milk
   1/2 c  Water
   1/2 c  Chopped black walnuts
     1 T  Margarine
     1 ts Vanilla flavoring
   1/4 ts Salt

 Boil sugar, molasses, milk, water, margarine, and salt to hard ball
 stage (265-270F.). Add vanilla flavoring.  Spread nuts over the
 bottom of a well-buttered pan.  Pour taffy over nuts.  Cool. Pull
 until stiff and creamy.  Cut in one-inch pieces.
