     Title: VALENTINE CRUNCH

     1 lb Red candy coating
     3 c  Crispy rice cereal; crushed

 Recipe by: Country Folk Art Magazine, February 1993 Melt the candy coating
 in a double boiler or over very low heat, just until melted; do not
 overheat.  Stir in the cereal and stir to completely coat the cereal with
 the candy coating. Spread the mixture on a waxed paper-lined tray. Cool to
 set.  Break into pieces for serving or gift giving. Makes 1 1/2 pounds.

 Microwave Directions:  Melt the candy coating in a 2-quart microwave-safe
 measurer on 100 percent power for 1 to 3 minutes, stirring every 30
 seconds; do not overheat. Proceed as above. Penny Halsey (ATBN65B).
