5 c Powdered sugar
1 1/2 c Creamy peanut butter
2/3 c Butter -- softened
1 ts Vanilla
1 1/2 c Semisweet chocolate chips
1 c Chopped peanuts, coconut, or
- sprinkles
Combine powdered sugar, peanut butter, butter and vanilla in large
bowl; beat until well-blended. Shape mixture by tablespoonfuls into
peanut shapes or balls; arrange on cookie sheets and refrigerate in
Ziploc jumbo storage bag until firm, 3 to 4 hours.
Melt chocolate chips over low heat in small saucepan. Using
toothpick, dip half of each peanut shape or ball in chocolate; roll
dipped half in nuts, coconut or sprinkles and return to cookie sheet.
Refrigerate 1 hour.
Carefully remove candies from cookie sheet; refrigerate in
gallon-size Ziploc storage bags no longer than 2 weeks. Serve
chilled.
