2 c Brown sugar; packed
1/2 c Water
1/2 c Condensed milk
1/2 c Nuts; chopped
Combine brown sugar and water in a 2 qt microwave safe bowl.
Microwave for 3 to 3-1/2 minutes at HIGH or until boiling. Stir in
sweetened condensed milk. Microwave for 8 to 10 minutes at MED-HIGH
(70%)*, (see below), or until mixture forms a soft ball (240 F on a
candy thermometer) when a small amount is dropped in cold water.
Stir in chopped nuts. Beat until thick and creamy. Pour into a 8"
square buttered pan. Cool. Cut into squares.
* Compact microwaves use HIGH (100%) for MED-High.
