6 Tart apples -- up to 7
1 tb Butter
1 pn Salt
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 ts Nutmeg
12 Marshmallows
Line a pie pan with plain pastry. Fill with pared and sliced apples.
Combine sugar, salt, and nutmeg.
Sprinkle over apples. Dot with butter. Bake in hot oven (425 F) until
crust is brown and the apples tender. Remove from oven. Cover the
apples with halved marshmallows. Brown in slow oven (325 F).
