8 tb Butter
1 c Light brown sugar
1/2 ts Almond extract or flavor
1 Egg
5 tb Flour
1/2 c Pecans; chopped
1/2 c Almonds; chopped
1 c Heavy whipped cream
Cream butter and sugar; add almond flavor, egg and flour. Blend
well and add nuts. Shape into roll, wrap in foil, and place in
freezer. When ready to serve, thaw about 30 minutes. Slice 1"
thick and top with whipped cream. Decorate with slivered almonds or
additional chopped pecans.
