Crust:
1 3/4 c Flour
1/4 c Sugar
1 ts Cinnamon
10 2/3 tb Unsalted butter
2/3 ts Salt
Water
Filling:
6 lg McIntosh apples
1 2/3 c Sour cream
Egg
1 c Sugar
1/2 ts Salt
2 ts Vanilla
1/3 c Flour
Topping:
1/3 c Brown sugar
1/3 c Sugar
1/2 c Flour
1 pn Salt
1 tb Cinnamon
1 c Walnuts -- chopped
1/2 c Butter
Combine crust ingredients--roll out 11" and place in a 10" pie pan.
Mix filling ingredients together and fill pie shell. Bake at 450 F
for 10 minutes. Reduce oven to 350 F and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
Blend topping ingredients and place atop pie. Bake for additional
15 minutes at 350 F. Serve warm.
