     Title: Chocolate Pecan Pie

     Yield: 6 servings

     1 c  Sugar
     4 tb Corn starch
     2    Eggs; lightly beaten
   1/2 c  Butter; melted
     3 tb Bourbon -OR-
     1 ts Vanilla
     6 oz Pkg chocolate chips
     1    Unbaked pastry shell (9")
          Whipped cream
     1 c  Pecans; finely chopped

 Combine sugar and corn starch; beat in eggs; mix in butter,
 bourbon, chocolate chips, and pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake at
 350 F for 40 minutes or until puffy and lightly browned. Cool
 completely. Serve with whipped cream made by beating 1/2 cup heavy
 cream with 1 tb powdered sugar in a small bowl to soft peaks. Add
 1 ts bourbon or 1/2 ts vanilla and beat to stiff peaks.
