                            Peach Crumb Pie

  2 1/2  tablespoons   tapioca
    3/4  cup           sugar
    1/4  teaspoon      salt
  4      cups          sliced peaches
    1/3  cup           packed brown sugar
    1/4  cup           flour
    1/2  teaspoon      cinnamon
  2 1/2  tablespoons   soft butter

Mix together the first 4 ingredients, then let the mixture set for 5
minutes before pouring it into an unbaked 9-inch pie shell. Mix the
rest of the ingredients for the crumb topping, then put it on top of
the fruit filling. Bake the pie at 425 F for 24 to 50 minutes.

Variations: Other fruit may be used, but this recipe is especially
good with apples.
