     Title: Always-Good Chocolate Pie

     Yield: 6 servings

     3 c  Milk; divided
   1/3 c  Unsweetened cocoa powder
   1/3 c  Cornstarch
   1/4 ts Salt
     1 c  Sugar
     2 tb Butter
 1 1/2 ts Vanilla extract
     1    Prebaked pie crust
          Whipped topping; for
          - serving

 In a medium saucepan on medium heat, heat 2-1/2 cups
 milk.

 Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine cocoa powder,
 cornstarch, salt, and sugar. Add remaining milk; stir
 until no lumps remain. Pour into heated milk; stirring
 constantly. When mixture has thickened and begins to
 bubble, stir constantly for 1 more minute. Remove from
 heat.

 Add butter and vanilla; stir to combine. Pour into pie
 crust. Refrigerate at least 3 hours, or until set.
 Dollop with whipped topping and serve.
