     Title: Harvest Table Apple Pie

     Yield: 8 Servings

     6 md Apples, sliced
     1 tb Cornstarch
     1 ts Cinnamon
   1/4 ts Salt
     3 tb Sugar
     3 tb Margarine, melted
   1/3 c  White syrup

----------------------------------TOPPING----------------------------------
   1/4 c  Brown sugar
     2 tb Flour
     3 tb White syrup
     2 tb Margarine, softened
   1/4 c  Nuts, chopped

 Prepare pastry for a 2 crust 9 inch pie. Fill bottom shell with 6 medium
 apples, sliced. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over apples. Cover
 with top crust and bake in 425  oven 45 minutes, or until crust is browned.
 Topping: Mix ingredients together, spread over top of pie. Return to oven
 for 10 minutes or until topping is bubbly. (Place pie pan on larger pan to
 catch topping that may run off).
