Title: Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Yield: 3 1/2 dozen
1 c Butter (2 sticks) Softened
1 c Brown sugar
1/2 c White sugar
2 lg Eggs
1 ts Vanilla
1 1/2 c All purpose flour
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Salt (optional)
3 c Oats(quick or old fashioned)
-uncooked
1 c Raisins
Beat together butter, sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat
well.
Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt, mix well.
Add to butter mixture, mix well.
Stir in oats and raisins, mix well.
I REFRIGERATED DOUGH FOR 1 HOUR.
When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet
I USED LARGE SCOOP
Bake 17-19 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool on cookie sheet 15 minutes, remove to wire rack to continue
to cool.
BAR COOKIES Bake 30 to 35 Minutes (Probably more time - have not
tried yet) in ungreased 13x9 inch metal baking pan.
