     Title: Sugar-Free Fruit Cookies
Categories: Cookies, Diabetic
     Yield: 60 Cookies

   1/2 c  Margarine
     5 ts Granulated sugar replacement
     2    Eggs
     2 c  Flour
   1/2 ts Salt
   1/2 ts Nutmeg
   1/4 c  Hot apple jucie
   1/4 c  Raisins; chopped
    14 c  Currants

 Cream together margarine and sugar replacment. Add eggs; beat until
 fluffy. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg in sigter; add
 alternately with hot apple juice to creamed mixture. Fold in
 raisins lightly and currants. Allow to rest to reat 15 mintues.
 Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet, 2 to 3"
 apart. Bake at 350 F for 12 to 15 minutes.
