     Yield: 100 servings

     1 lb Golden raisins
   1/2 c  Bourbon
   1/4 c  Sweet butter
   1/2 c  Light brown sugar; packed
     2    Eggs
 1 1/2 c  Flour
 1 1/2 ts Baking soda
 1 1/2 ts Cinnamon
   1/2 ts Nutmeg
   1/2 ts Ground cloves
     1 lb Pecan halves
   1/2 lb Citron; diced
     1 lb Candied cherries

    Soak raisins in the bourbon for at least an hour to plump. Cream butter
 and beat in sugar.  Add eggs, beating well. Sift flour with baking soda and
 spices and add to butter mixture. Add drained raisins, nuts and fruit. Drop
 by teaspoonfuls onto buttered cookie sheets.  Bake at 325 degrees for about
 15 minutes.  Store in airtight containers. Cookies freeze well. Makes 8-10
 dozen.
