     1 c  Brown sugar
     1 c  Shortening
     6 tb Corn syrup
     1 ts Vanilla
     2    Eggs
 1 3/4 ts Soda
          Flour to make a stiff dough

    Roll out and cut with a cookie cutter, bake, and put together with apple
 butter or raspberry jam.
