2 c All-purpose flour
1 c Brown sugar -- packed
1/2 c Butter -- softened
1 c Pecan halves
Topping:
2/3 c Butter
1/2 c Brown sugar -- packed
1 c Chocolate chips
In a mixing bowl, beat flour, sugar, and butter on medium speed for 2
to 3 minutes. Press firmly into an ungreased 13x9x2" baking pan.
Arrange pecans over crust. Combine butter and brown sugar in a heavy
saucepan. Bring to a boil; boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Pour over pecans. Bake at 350 F for 18 to 22 minutes. Spread
chocolate but allow some chips to remain whole. Cool completely; cut
into small squares.
