                         Frosted Peach Squares

    1/2  c             Sugar
  3      tb            Corn starch
  1                    Egg yolk
 29      oz            Peach slices in juice --
                       - undrained
  4      c             Flour
  1      ts            Sugar
  1      pkg           Yeast
    1/2  c             Milk
    1/2  c             Water
  1      c             Butter
  4                    Egg yolks
                       Frosting:
  2      c             Powdered sugar
    1/2  ts            Vanilla
  2      tb            Milk

Mix 1/2 cup sugar, corn starch, and salt in saucepan. Stir in yolk
and undrained peaches, cook until mixture comes to a boil. Cool. Mix
together 1-1/4 cups flour, salt, and yeast. Combine butter, milk, and
water until warm. Add to flour mixture and beat 2 minutes on medium
speed. Add yolks and 1/2 cup flour. Beat 2 more minutes at high
speed. Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough. Divide dough in
half and roll out to fit a 15x10" jelly roll pan. Top with cooled
peach filling. Roll remaining dough for top, seal edges together.
Snip top of dough for steam vents, cover and let rise 1 hour. Bake
375 F for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Frost while warm with
frosting.
