     Title: Lemon Butter Bars
Categories: Cookies
     Yield: 10 servings

     2 c  Flour
     1 c  Butter, softened
   1/2 c  Confectioners sugar
     4    Eggs
     2 c  Sugar
     1 ts Baking powder
   1/2 ts Salt
     1 c  Freshly sqeezed lemon juice

   Preheat oven to 350 F.

   Beat together flour, butter and 1/2 cup confectioners sugar in
   small bowl, with electric mixer until well blended.

   Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden.

   Beat eggs, sugar, baking powder, salt and lemon juice in small
   bowl until smooth. Pour over hot crust.

   Bake 15 minutes more or until bubbly and light brown.

   Cool completly on wire rack. Dust lightly with remaining
   confectioners' sugar. Cut into diamonds, about 2-1/2 x 1-1/2".
   Use small spatula to lift diamonds out of the pan.

   Store airtight at room temperature.
