     Title: Dried-Fruit Cake Bars

     Yield: 1 servings

     1 c  Butter; room temp
   1/2 c  Sugar
     1    Egg
     2 ts Vanilla extract
     1 ts Freshly grated orange peel
          = (or lemon)
     2 c  All-purpose flour
     1 c  Chopped mixed dried fruit
   1/2 c  Powdered sugar

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line a 9 by 13 inch baking pan with foil.
 Spray with nonstick cooking spray. Using electric mixer, beat together
 butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, vanilla and orange
 peel. Slowly stir in flour until blended. Add chopped fruit. Scrape batter
 into prepared pan. Bake 1/2 hour or until set and golden brown around
 edges. Cool in pan on rack. Sprinkle over all generously with powdered
