3/4 c Flour
1/3 c Brown sugar; packed
1/2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Cinnamon
2/3 c Margarine; softened
1 Egg
1 ts Vanilla
1-1/2 c Rolled oats
1 c Cheddar cheese; shredded
1 c Nuts; chopped
1 c Apples; peeled, chopped
- 1 to 2 medium
In a large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder and cinnamon.
Mix in butter with pastry blender or spoon. Add egg, vanilla, oats, cheese,
nuts and apples. Mix well. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased
cookie sheets ( cookies will spread slightly). Bake at 375 for 12-14
minutes or until golden. Remove to wire racks to cool. Store airtight.
Freeze well.
