                             Apple Squares

 Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

  1 3/4  cups          sugar
  1      cup           oil
  3                    eggs
  1      teaspoon      vanilla
  1      teaspoon      salt
  1      teaspoon      baking soda
  2      cups          flour
  1      teaspoon      cinnamon
  1      cup           walnuts -- chopped coarse
  1      cup           raisins
  2      cups          apples, peeled -- chopped

Preheat oven 350 degrees. Prepare 13x9 pan.
Mix together all ingredients. DO NOT USE MIXER.
Pour into pan and bake 40-50 minutes. Cool and cut.
