     Title: Mincemeat-Nut Bread

   1/2 c  Butter or margarine; softene
   3/4 c  Granulated sugar
     2    Eggs
 2 1/2 c  All-purpose flour
 1 1/2 ts Baking powder
   1/2 ts Baking soda
   1/2 ts Salt
   1/2 c  Milk
 1 1/3 c  Mincemeat
   1/2 c  Walnuts; chopped

 Recipe by: More House Specialties, Deanna House Preheat oven to 350
 degrees; grease and flour a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan, or line with parchment
 paper. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and
 fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift
 together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to the creamed
 mixture, alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour
 mixture. Stir in the mincemeat and walnuts.  Spread in the prepared pan and
 bake for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center
 comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes; remove from the pan to cool
 completely on a rack.
