     Title: Bacon Cornbread

     Yield: 10 servings

     1 c  Self-rising cornmeal
   1/2 ts Baking soda
   1/4 ts Salt
 1 1/2 c  Cheddar cheese; shredded
   1/2 c  Onion
     6 sl Bacon; cooked/crumbled
     1 c  Milk
     3 tb Bacon drippings
     1 ts Garlic powder
     3    Eggs; beaten
     1 cn Whole kernel corn (7-oz)
          ; drained
     1    Jars Diced pimiento (2-oz);
          -drained

 Preparation Time: 0:15
 Combine cornmeal, soda, and salt; add remaining
 ingredients, stirrring just until dry ingredients are
 moistened. Spoon into a greased 10-inch cast-iron skillet.
 Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
 Yield: 10 servings.
