     Title: Baking Powder Biscuits With Onions

     Yield: 1 servings

     1 md Onion
     1    Shallot
    11 tb Margarine
     1 c  Skim milk; cold
     2 c  All-purpose flour
     1 c  Cake flour
     1 tb Baking powder

 Heat oven to 400 F. Line baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
 Peel and mince onion & shallot. Saute these in 1 tb margarine in
 skillet until softened, about 5 minutes. Cool, stir in milk and set
 aside.

 * Mix flours, baking powder and 1 ts salt in food processor
 workbowl (metal blade). Cut 9 tb margarine into small pieces and
 pulse until mixture resembles coarse meal. Pulse in the milk/onion
 mixture until dough just holds together. Transfer to a floured
 board and knead 10 times.

 Roll dough 3/4" thick and cut into 1-1/2" squares. Brush remaining
 margarine on biscuit tops. Bake until brown, about 18 minutes. Eat
 warm!

 * Use fingers or pastry knife if you prefer.
