01. Introduction

Braveknight is a character raising SLG. The player decides how to raise the
knight by deciding his training schedule. There is other various events
that can happen and ultimately, the girl that the knight will be trying to
woo.
This version of the game has Traditional Chinese text and the voices are in
Japanese. At this moment, there is no English version of the game.

03. Tips & Tricks

When you complete the game once, an additional menu item will be available
in the Start screen. It is labeled as "Recall". You will be able to select
the girls and view their CG and events. Pressing 'A' during the CG to
display next frame. Any missing CG or events will be leave as a blank. So
you use this as a guide to judge your completeness of the game.
There are 9 levels for the knight. The lowest class being Eagle knight,
followed by Wolf and Dragon knight. There are 3 colors for each class,
blue, red and white. You start off the game as a Blue Eagle knight. The
highest level you can achieve is White Dragon knight.
A promotion test is held every 3 months. If you meet the requirements, you
will be promoted to the next level.
Promotion Guide
The 10 stats used to calculate the total is: Sword, Horse, Art, Court,
Manner, Look, Belief, Honesty, Courage and Endurance. Body and Strength
does not count.

Promotion had many advantages. In order to date the girls from a higher
class, you need to be at least a Blue Wolf knight (level 4). The monthly
commission paid will be higher when you achieve a higher rank. The training
and mission bonus received will be increased.
The more you encounter a girl, the better they like you. At higher ranking,
the likings of the girls increase much more.
The maximum amount of gold you can have is 99999. Anything beyond is lost.
Therefore, if you had extra cash, visit the market to purchase some gifts
for the girls. If you preparing for the promotion test, get the weapon that
increase Sword and Horse skill.
The maximum amount of any particular stats you can have is 999. Anything
beyond is lost. If you unequipped any items, the raised stats are lowered.
Do be careful when your stats is near the maximum. Let's illustrate this by
an example. Suppose your Sword skill is 980 and you want to equip a better
sword so that you can win the tournament tomorrow. So, you buy and +40
Sword and equip it. Your Sword Skill is now 999. After the tournament, you
unequipped the sword, your Sword Skill is now 999-40 = 959. You had lost
some point in your Sword Skill.
When your Body or Strength points is zero, anything mission you undertake
will fail. Equip a +Body item to prevent your Body points from reaching
zero. This means that you don't need to rest or go to church to replenish
your Body points. Note that with a lower Body points, there is a chance of
failure in any mission you undertake. However, you can always reload the
game if that happens.

There are 15 girls in the game. There is a mysterious character called
Rufeena Werrier that will only appears under certain situation.

Dating Requirements: No chance to date her.
Loved Items: No chance to give any gift to her.
Even though her birthday is revealed during the game, there is no present
giving option on that day. Therefore, I suspect that there is no way to
give her any present.
She will appear during a visit to Lieveland. The first time she appears,
she already had a liking level of 6 for the hero. It happened around March
689 after taking a simple mission to patrol the street. The hero stats at
that points is very high, a White Dragon Knight with average stats 850+. At
that time, he is dating Remilia and no one else. Later, the hero loses his
way in the castle and met Rufeena. Followed by another meeting at the dance
floor where Remilia found them dancing. Around the end of March, she wrote
a letter to the hero to ask him out at night. She declared her love to him
that night. Love Status is level 8 when that happened. If her love is
accepted, you will become the King of Rofenia after marrying her.
Note: Throughout the month, the hero did not see her in person so there is
no chance to ask her out for a date or give a gift. Checking the Recall
option shows that all her CG and events were complete.
In another game, when the Sword Tournament is won, Rufeena appears the next
day. However, since the hero stats are not high enough, the liking level is
much lower.

05. Shops
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The items sold in the Market are to be used as gift for the girls. Each of
them has different likings so you should not give the wrong items to them.
It will be tough to give a complete guide to the items like or disliked by
the various girls. There are 45 items x 15 girls, so a total of 675
combinations. Items are generally classified as Loved, Liked and Dislike.
When a loved item is given, the girl will blush. When a liked item is
given, the girl will smile and her eyes will became a narrow line ^^. When
a dislike item is given, her eyes will change; she might blush if it is too
embarrassing for her to accept the item. Try to spot the blush different
between the loved and dislike items. When a girl likes you enough to blush
whenever you met her, it can be harder to decide whether she like the item
or not since her expression might not change at all.
The Weapon Shop sells items that boost your stats. If you are short of
points for your promotion, grab some of the high-end weapons.

The +Body items don't help in your promotion but they have a special usage.
Let me illustrate this with an example. Supposed that you had 10 Body
Points left. You equipped a +32 Body item to make your Body points 42.
After a few missions, your Body points will start to drop. However, it will
never goes below 32 since your original Body points is 0 and the equipped
item give you +32 Body points. This means that you don't need to rest or go
to church to replenish your Body points. However, you still need to have
enough Strength to carry out the mission or it will fail.
The Fortuneteller provides 3 services. First of all, she can tell you the
love status of all the girls with the hero.
The status is displayed as follows:
Level 1. A simple plant. All green.
Level 2. A plant with a pink bud.
Level 3. A plant with a red flower.
Level 4. Red flower + a empty branch.
Level 5. Red flower + a branch with 3 leaves.
Level 6. Red flower + a bush with lots of leaves.
Level 7. Red flower + a bush with 3 yellow flowers.
Level 8. Red flower + a bush with 3 red fruits.
At Level 5 or above, the girl will blush when you met her.
At Level 7 or above, the girl will declare her love to the hero at the
right circumstances.
After a girl declared her love to the hero. Every Sunday or Holiday night,
the hero will be given a chance to accept her love. Once accepted, the game
ends.
The second service provided by the Fortuneteller is to give you some hints
on the girls. The most important thing is the girls' birthday. During the
girls' birthday, you will be given an option to send a present to her.
Therefore do check your schedule beforehand and buy the present earlier. If
you don't intend to woo the girl, don't send her the present.
The third service provided by the fortuneteller is to let you know whether
you will be promoted in the next promotion test. She will let you know
whether you had enough achievement points for promotion. As for the stats
required, she cannot tell you. Therefore please refer to the promotion
chart to see the stats points required. In most cases, you will simply save
the game on a Sunday, visit the fortuneteller and then reload the game. You
can find all the girls birthday here but you need to know it in the game in
order to trigger the birthday option.

06. Training and Missions

There are 3 types of tasks you can perform:
1. Training.
2. Mission.
3. Other Activities.
Training
There are 5 basic type of training.
Sword. -2 Body, -1 Strength, ++Sword, -Art, -Manner, +Courage, +Endurance.
Horse. -2 Body, -1 Strength, ++Horse, -Art, -Manner, +Courage, +Endurance.
Art. -1 Body, -2 Strength, -Sword, -Horse, ++Art, +Manner, +Honesty, -
Courage.
Court. -1 Body, -2 Strength, -Sword, -Horse, +Art, ++Court, +Look,
+Honesty, -Courage.
Manner. -1 Body, -2 Strength, -Sword, -Horse, +Art, ++Manner, +Honesty, -
Courage.
Note that the actual figure is not given. This because the stats increased
or decreased is dependent on your current class level. After stats reached
a certain amount, e.g. 800, the increment or decrement will be lesser.
All training will automatically succeed. The time taken will be the start
day till a day before Sunday, or Friday if Saturday is a Holiday. You will
be given 200 achievement points for completing the training.
Training during Sunday or Holiday will double the stats rewards. Therefore,
if you need to catch up in a certain stats, make sure you take advantage of
this. You need to judge whether you want to date a girl or receive a stats
boost during the game.
Mission
The missions ranged from 1-4 stars difficulty. The achievement rewards
ranged from 1-6 stars. Since referring to stars can be confusing, I will
use D to indicate the difficulty and R to indicate the rewards.
The 1D tasks are easy to perform. Failure rate is low. It is suggested that
you perform them until you had reach a higher class.
Here's a rough guide to the various type of missions:
1D: - 1 Body, - 1 Strength, 6 - 8 days, 1R, 25-35%
2D: - 4 Body, - 2 Strength, 6 - 10 days, 2R, 18-25%
3D: - 9 Body, - 6 Strength, 6 - 14 days, 3-4R, 14-20%
4D: -18 Body, -12 Strength, 14 days, 5-6R, 10%
You are given a number of days to complete the mission. On each day, you
need to spend a fixed amount of Body and Strength points. If any of these
stats is zero, you will fumble during that day. You can also fumble if the
stats required are too low. If the day is successful, a percentage will be
added to the mission meter. When the meter reaches 100% before the time
limit, the mission succeeds, and you will receive the mission awards.
1R - 500 achievement points
2R - 1000 achievement points
3R - 1500 achievement points
4R - 2000 achievement points
5R - 2500 achievement points
6R - 3000 achievement points
If the mission fails, you get zero achievement points.
If the mission is completed before Sunday, you can perform other tasks such
as Training or Other Activities. Training during this period will let you
earn 200 achievement points by spending less than 6 days.
Other Activities
You can perform other activities beside training and missions.
Church. +6 Body, +14 Strength, ++Belief, +Honesty, +Endurance
Rest. +18 Body, +10 Strength, -Court, -Honesty, -Courage, +Endurance
Going to Church and Resting during Sunday and Holiday doesn't double the
stats. So it is suggested to do them during other days.
Go outside.
On Sunday or Holiday, you can go outside. You can visit the various places
in Lieveland, visit the Market, Weapon Shop and Fortuneteller. You can
usually find Tess at the Weapon Shop, Laura at the Bar, Shall in the
Library, etc. You can visit 3 places for the day. This can be handy if you
are looking for a particular girl.

07. Dating
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
You will encounter the girls during your training, missions and other
activities. Each time you met them, their liking of you will improve, it
appears that having a higher-class ranking increases the liking by a lot
more. They will usually chat with you and at time might reveal some of the
stats of the other girls.
You can give them a gift to boost their liking towards you. Giving a gift
they dislike will have a negative impact. Basically, you want to them to
blush and thank you when the gift is given.
You can also date them. However, you need a class rank of at least level 4
before you can date the higher-class girls. For Eldear, you need to defeat
her in combat before she allows you to date her. To defeat her, you need a
Sword Skill of roughly 300+. The girls had certain preferences for the
dating places, if you pick the wrong place, they will usually turn you
down. Make sure you don't date more than 1 girl during a day. You can only
go for a date and the other girl will be angry with you. When angry, you
will not see them often and it takes a while for them to forgive you.
If you had a date, it will also be shown in the Other Activities menu. It
is suggested that you save the game before a date. Unless an event
happened, you will always be given 3 choices to choose from. Picking the
wrong choice will usually give a negative impression. The girl will smile
until her eyes became a ^^ when the right choice is selected. Similar
question will be given but the correct answer is different for each girl.

08. Walkthrough
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 April 986. You begin the game as a Blue Eagle knight. You had 4 years to
prove yourself and woo the girl of your dreams. The game will ends when the
time is around 20 March 990.
It is hard to woo every girl in the game within the short time frame of 4
years. Therefore, when you start the game, pick a few potential targets and
then try to date them.
If the girls you like belong to a higher class, it is suggested that you
concentrate on your stats and spend your Sunday and Holiday training. For
most people, the aim will be either Remilia or Rufeena. Since Rufeena is a
secret character, it will be hard to find her. So in this brief
walkthrough, I presumed that you are going after Remilia.
The first promotion is in June. Since you have only 2 months, it is quite
impossible to get the promotion. Anyway, concentrate on the 1D missions and
use the remaining days to do training. Train for the double bonus during
Sunday or Holiday.
There is a Ball on every Pay Day and Holiday. Since Remilia belongs to the
higher-class girl, it is not possible to date her until you are promoted to
a Level 4 Blue Wolf knight. Different girls will be presented to you during
the Ball. If you are aiming for Remilia only, you might want to save the
game before the Ball and reload until Remilia turns up. When she appears,
there is still a chance that she will turn down your invitation. During the
dance, if your Court Skill is too low, she might comment that you don't
dance that well. Therefore, you might want to concentrate on your Court
Skill initially.
After you got some money, go to the Weapon Shop to buy a +Body item. When
equipped, you don't need to rest or visit Church to replenish your Body
points. If your strength is low, spend some time in Church to replenish it.
Continue this routine until you are promoted to a Level 4 knight. Now, you
can try to date Remilia whenever you met her.
There are a few special events that will trigger if all the necessary
conditions are met.
987 onwards. Between June and August. Star viewing. Level 3 liking. Happens
during a Ball.
Between September and November. Chiffon Level 5 Liking, Remilia Level 4
Liking. Remilia is not in angry mode. This is a special event where Chiffon
will try to arrange a blind date for you and Remilia.
Between June and August. Remilia Level 5 Liking. Princess Holiday.
23 September. Remilia Level 5 Liking. Prerequisities: Princess Holiday.
After the ceremony. This is can be tough to trigger.
987 onwards. Between March and May. Happen during a Date at the Mountain or
Forest. Remilia Level 6 Liking. North West Rain.
988 onwards. Between June and August. Happen during a Date at the Mountain
or Forest. Remilia Level 6 Liking. The Princess will met the Prince Edwin
of Rofenia.
987 onwards. Sword Skill 700 and above. Remilia Level 6 Liking. Prince and
the Knight. It happens during Sword Training or Missions that teaches sword
fighting.
When you are promoted to the higher level of White Dragon Knight and won
the Sword Tournament, Rufeena might appears. If not, if your average stats
are 850+, she might appear during a patrol mission. She will be there for a
short while, so you must win her heart during this short period. To do so,
pick missions where you will be hanging around in the castle. There are
some trigger events when you met her. It is about 1 month in the game I
played, in March 989. If you had won her heart, accept her offer and the
game end immediately. You then marry Rufeena and became the King of
Rofenia, while the Prince Edwin of Rofenia marries Remilia.
20 March 990. Remilia Level 8 Liking Level. Prerequisies: Star Viewing,
Princess and the Prince. True Courage. If this event trigger, you will
marry the Princess, otherwise she will be forced to marry Prince Edwin.
Congratulations! You had completed the game.
Now check the title screen to find a new menu option 'Recall'. You can see
all the girls you had met. All the CG and special events that occurs in the
game will be listed here. Those CG or event that had not occurred will be
left blank.
You can now attempt to win the heart of another girl by starting a new game
or date the same girl to discover any missing CG or special events.
