The purpose of this guide is to provide detailed information on all of the
floors found in story mode including maps and listings of duelists and
noteworthy items.
This guide is not intended to serve as a detailed walkthrough or to provide
dueling/deck strategies, but it does provide all the information you will need
to complete a floor in story mode.
For the best results, this guide should be viewed in a monospaced font such as
Courier or Monaco.
This section contains maps of the floors in story mode, including locations of
items, duelists and their recipes, etc. In the subsection corresponding to each
floor you'll find a map of the floor with the details of the duelists and items
listed below. This is followed by run throughs, which may detail the moves to
make to complete the floor quickly or how to obtain certain items.

This section explains the format I use for presenting the maps of each floor.
Maps
--------
Each floor in the game is made up of a hex grid with 13 panels across and 6
panels down, although not all the panels are necessarily used on each floor.
For the purposes of this guide I will use the following 2 character system to
identify the location of a panel, where a letter indicates the column and the
number indicates the row:
You move around the map by using AP, which you get by spinning the roulette.
The objective is to reach the goal panel, which will require you to duel
duelists you encounter along the way. Each hex will be one of various panels,
each with its own effects.
The different panel types are shown below along with the abbreviations I use to
denote the type:
Normal Panel
Moving to a normal panel uses 1 AP. Assume all panels are normal panels
unless otherwise indicated.
START - Start Location
This is your starting point on each floor
GOAL - Goal Panel
You complete the floor by moving your character to this panel. Sometimes it
is not visible at the beginning.
SLOW - Slow Panel
Moving to a slow panel uses 3 AP.
STOP - Stop Panel
Moving to a stop panel uses all of your remaining AP (requires at least 1 AP)
TIME - Time Panel
Time panels disappear after a certain number of roulette spins, after which
time you'll need to find an alternate route around. They usually provide
shortcuts if you can get to them fast enough.
ENEMY - Enemy Panel
Enemy panels start off empty, but after a certain number of roulette spins a
duelist will appear here who must be defeated in order to pass.
LOCK - Lock Panel
You cannot move to a lock panel unless you own a certain card specified. The
card doesn't need to be in your deck, just in the trunk will suffice. Lock
panels usually provide shortcuts or allow access to special items or duelists.
LVX - Key Lock Panel (where X is a number 1-3)
A key card is needed to pass through a key lock panel. Keys can have
different levels (LV 1 through 3), and the level of the key must correspond to
the key lock panel. Once you move to a key lock panel the key is consumed and
the panel remains unlocked until you restart the floor. Key lock panels
requiring a Key Card LV1 are blue, LV2 are yellow, and LV3 are red. Keys can be
obtained from items found on the floor or by defeating certain duelists.
? - ? Panel
You cannot see the contents of a ? panel until you move to one of its
adjacent panels. Once it is revealed it will stay revealed until you restart
the floor. I indicate ? panels with ? in the upper left corner of the hex.

/ooo\ Empty spaces are simply not shown, but if they are enclosed by other
/ooooo\ panels they are filled with o's like the hex to the left to help
\ooooo/ distinguish them from normal panels.

Panels sometimes contain items which you receive by moving to the panel.
Usually they expire after a certain number of roulette spins, but some remain
on the map until picked up (roulette continuous). I indicate the number of
spins until the item expires above the item (upper right corner of hex). If the
item does not expire then there will be an X instead.
There are several different types of items, although you won't be able to tell
what it is until you pick it up. I use the following notation to denote the
item type in this guide:
CARD - You receive a card which is added to your trunk when you move to this
item before it expires.
APXX - You receive additional AP when you move to this item before it
expires. The amount of AP received is indicated by the XX.
XXXX - Some items give you DP, where the amount received will be indicated by
the XXXX (all numeric values).
KEYX - You receive a key card when you move to this item. The X indicates the
level of the key card (1 through 3)
Duelists
------------
Duelists also can be located on panels. You will have to defeat them in a duel
in order to pass. Duelists that are required in order to complete the floor are
proceded with an asterisk (*). [Obj] indicates that the duelist must be
defeated in order for the goal panel to appear.
Duelists with the generic duelist icon (faceless shadowy image) are simply
indicated by "Duel" in my maps. Otherwise, the name of the duelist will be
abbreviated in CamelCase. Duelist abbreviations are as follows:

I indicate the level of the duelist above their name in the upper right corner
of the hex. Some duelist won't duel you and just talk to you when you move to
their space. In these cases there will be an X in the upper right corner of the
hex instead of their level.
Below each map I also list the items, duelists and lock panels found on the map
with additional details. Items include the item received and for lock panels
the card required is listed.
Duelists use this notation:
LOC NAME [LV] - RECIPE (ITEM)
Where LOC is the coordinates of the panel they are found on
NAME is the name of the duelist
LV is their level
RECIPE is the name of the recipe used
ITEM is the item you receive after dueling, or No Item if none
In addition, enemy panels also have the number of roulette spins until the
enemy appears indicated in brackets. This is also the number of spins until
they will reappear once defeated.
Run Throughs
----------------
Run throughs are listed after the map. They detail the route to take in order
to complete the floor, indicating the amount of AP required along the way. The
types of run throughs are as follows:
"Speed Run" shows the quickest route to complete the floor. It often makes use
of shortcuts such as lock panels and only seeks out items that are convenient.
Duelists are avoided where possible.
"All Items" shows the steps to take in order to collect all the items on the
floor. Key cards will only be collected if they are needed to access other
items or finish the floor. Similarly, it only seeks out AP bonuses that provide
a benefit toward collecting the other items faster. For this reason, the item
completion percentage displayed after completing the floor won't necessary show
that all items were collected since keys and AP bonuses count toward that
total. If any other items are omitted it will be noted explicitly.
The run throughs are divided into sections, where each section corresponds to
one or more spins of the roulette. The minimum amount of AP you need to get
from a roulette spin is indicated. After you spin you should move to each of
the panels indicated. Once you reach the last panel listed in the section, stay
there and spin the roulette for the next section (unless indicated otherwise).
At each of your destinations along the way you'll see three numbers indicated
on the right with the following meaning:

1) Roulette 1-2: At least 7 AP:
This line indicates that you will need to have a minimum of 7 AP by your second
spin. For example, 3 AP from your first spin and 5 AP from your second for a
total of 8 AP works.
2) B3 - DUEL: Transcender [15] (Key LV1) 4/3 = 4 AP
Now your first move is to go to B4, which contains a level 15 Transcender that
gives a Key Card LV1 once defeated. Presume you start at A2 and pass over a
slow panel at A3 for a total of 4 AP used this turn. Had you started with the
minimum 7 AP that would leave you with 3 AP remaining. However, since 8 AP was
rolled in this example, you'd actually have 4 AP remaining.
3) B5 - Key Lock LV1: Use Key LV1 2/1 = 6 AP
Next you need to move to the Key Lock Panel LV1 at B5 and use the key you
obtained from your duel with the Transcender. Presume you pass through a normal
panel at B4, using 2 AP this move.
4) C6 - ITEM: +5 AP 1/5 = 7 AP
Next you move over 1 panel to C6 to obtain +5 AP. 7 AP has been used so far,
but with the 5 AP obtained, the example now lists 5 AP as remaining.
5) Roulette 3+: At least 11 AP
Now it's time to spin the roulette again. The 3+ indicates that you can now
take as many spins as you need. From this point onward, none of the items you
need will expire, nor would there be any time panels that you need to cross
before they disappear. 11 AP is needed to continue with this section, but you
already have 6 AP left over from the previous section (1 more than indicated by
the example since 8 was rolled by the second spin). This means you still need
another 5 AP. Since there are no more time constraints, just keep on spinning
the roulette until you get it.
6) H4 - GOAL Panel 11/0 = 11 AP
Now use the 11 AP to move to the goal panel at H4 and you will have completed
the floor.
Notes
---------
NOTE 1: The minimum and maximum values rolled by the roulette both increase by
1 every time you gain 10 levels. So at level 20 the min and max values would
increase by 2, and at level 37 they would both increase by 3.
NOTE 2: Items on a ? panel do not decrement their roulette count until the
panel is revealed by moving to an adjacent panel. This also applies to hidden
enemy panels.
NOTE 3: Time panels and enemy panels do not decrement their roulette counts
while your character is standing on them.
NOTE 4: When a STOP panel has an Bonus AP Item, moving to the panel depletes
your AP, and then the bonus AP gets added (so you aren't stopped).
NOTE 5: Sometimes a Time Panel can also contain an item. When that is the case,
the number I list in the upper right corner of the hex is both the number of
spins until the Time Panel disappears and until the item disappears (always the
same).
NOTE 6: After completing Niflheimr 20F, the lock panels in every map will be
unlocked so you no longer need to own the card indicated to pass.

It is not possible to get all 3 card items in the same run. The first turn is
spent on one of the stop panels near the start. Then to get the cards at J4 &
J6 on your second turn would require 13 AP on your second spin (another stop
panel). From there you'd need 17 AP to get to the card at F1, and the AP bonus
items have now expired.
You can try for the card at F1 first, but the only transcender that has a LV1
key that isn't on a stop panel is at G6. After dueling it you'd still have to
get to the +5 AP bonus item at G4 on your second turn to ensure getting the
other two cards in time. That requires 33 AP in total, and with 15 AP from
bonus items along the way still would require 18 AP on the second spin.
