Exhibition matches. These matches can be played against another human player or
against computer controlled bots. Below is a list of these matches and the
different types of matches that can be played under each category.

=             =
BACKSTAGE BRAWL
=             =
A fight that occurs in the bowels of the arena as opposed to in the ring.
Most maches will end at a pinfall or submission, but this match doesn't end
until the opponent is knocked out. There is no disqualification, so weapons
can be used. Wrestlers can travel to other areas of the backstage area,
including the parking lot.

=          =
BATTLE ROYAL
=          =
All wrestlers involved start the match in the ring. The goal is to eliminate
the other wrestlers by throwing them out of the ring and making their feet
touch the ground on the outside. Basically, it's like a mini-Royal Rumble.

=                   =
CHAMPIONSHIP SCRAMBLE
=                   =
Six wrestlers face off in a match that has a time limit. During the time limit,
many falls will occur. The wrestler that has earned the latest fall, either by
pinfall or submission, is "it". As long as they remain "it" when the timer
runs out, they win whatever title is being contested.

=                 =
ELIMINATION CHAMBER
=                 =
Six wrestlers are in this match. A steel structure surrounds the ring. Two
wrestlers start the match in the ring proper, and four other wrestlers are
enclosed in pods at each corner. After a minute or so, another wrestler is
released from the pod and they enter the match. Wrestlers are eliminated when
they are pinned or forced to submit. The match keeps going until only one
wrestler remains.

=             =
ELIMINATION TAG
=             =
In this variation on the tag team match, wrestlers are eliminated when they are
pinned or forced to submit. The match doesn't end until one team is completely
eliminated.

=           =
EXTREME RULES
=           =
No disqualification. Six different weapons can be found under the ring and the
player gets to choose between the weapons. Audience members can also bring
weapons and give them to the wrestlers. Match ends by pinfall or submission in
the ring.

=      =
GAUNTLET
=      =
One wrestler faces off against a squad of other wrestlers. However, only two
wrestlers can fight at a time. When a wrestler is defeated, they are replaced
by another wrestler that comes out. This keeps going until the challenger is
defeated or all the wrestlers on the team are eliminated.

=            =
HELL IN A CELL
=            =
In this match, a large cage surrounds the ring with a roof. The cage extends
so that the wrestlers can walk around on the area outside of the ring.
Wrestlers exit the cell by performing an "OMG!" moment against the steel.
Wrestlers can climb to the top of the cell and fight on the roof, and even fall
through the ceiling. Match ends by pinfall or submission in the ring. There is
an "Armageddon" variation of the match that features up to six participants at
a time, named after a pay-per-view that hosted such a match.

=           =
INFERNO MATCH
=           =
Wrestlers are confined to the ring as the ring apron has a contraption that
spews flames. As big moves are hit, the flames rise. The goal is to light the
opponent on fire using the fire to win the match. This is accomplished by
dragging them to the ring ropes when the fire is high enough and when they are
damaged enough, and thenc ompleting a QTE.

=      =
IRON MAN
=      =
A time limit is set, and the match does not end until the clock runs out. The
goal is to earn the most falls within the time limit with pinfalls and
submissions.

=              =
KING OF THE RING
=              =
This is a tournament, where the winner is awarded with a crown.

=    =
LADDER
=    =
Suspended above the ring is a championship belt or a briefcase with money or a
contract for a future shot at a world title. The goal of the wrestlers is to
incapacitate their opponents to the point that they are able to set up a
ladder in the center of the ring, climb it, and then pull down the title belt.
The left and right analog sticks are used to do this.

=               =
LAST MAN STANDING
=               =
This feud-ending bout sees two wrestlers beating each other to the point that
one of them cannot answer the 10 count. The referee counts whenever a wrestler
is down, and once they reach the count of 10, the wrestler loses.

=           =
MATCH CREATOR
=           =
The player can create a match with any stipulations that they wish.

=              =
MIXED GENDER TAG
=              =
Two teams of two wrestlers face off. In this variation on the tag match, there
is one male and one female on each team. Only the males can wrestle the males,
and only the females can wrestle the females. So a tag for one team is the
equivalent as the other team making a tag.

=          =
NORMAL MATCH
=          =
Regular match type. Particpants can be disqualified, generally, and counted out
as well. Standard wrestling rules apply. Match ends by pinfall or submission in
the ring.

=          =
ONE ON THREE
=          =
Three wrestlers fight another wrestler.

=              =
ONE ON THREE TAG
=              =
Just like the "One on Three" match detailed above, except the team of three has
to tag in and out, as opposed to Tornado rules.

=        =
ONE ON TWO
=        =
Two wrestlers team up against another wrestler.

=          =
ROYAL RUMBLE
=          =
Two random wrestlers start the match. Every 30 seconds, a new wrestler comes
out and is added to the match. Wrestlers are eliminated when they are thrown
out of the ring and their feet touch the ground on the outside. The final
wrestler wins.

=             =
SPECIAL REFEREE
=             =
Instead of a typical WWE referee official, someone else performs the
officiating duties of a match. In most cases, it is another wrestler involved
in the storyline. They are able to do the same actions as any of the refs,
except they have their own agenda and may try to make a match lean one way or
another.

=        =
STEEL CAGE
=        =
A steel cage surrounds the ring, but instead of Hell in a Cell, which has a
roof, this cage does not have one. The wrestlers are stuck in the ring, and
the ultimate goal is to win by pinfall or submission in the ring, or win by
escaping the cage. Escaping the cage can be accomplished by going through the
cage door, or by climbing the wall and dropping out of the cage and to the
floor outside.

=   =
TABLE
=   =
Tables are provided around ringside and can be found under the ring as well.
The match ends when the opponent is thrown through a table.

=      =
TAG TEAM
=      =
Two teams of two wrestlers each face off. Only one wrestler per team is allowed
in the ring at a time. The wrestlers have to tag in and out to make the partner
on the apron "legal". Match ends by pinfall or submission in the ring.

=         =
TITLE MATCH
=         =
Many variations of this match can occur, but what this match entails is a title
opportunity. One superstar or team has a championship belt, and they have to
defend their title.

= =
TLC
= =
TLC stands for Tables, Ladders, and Chairs. This match functions like a Ladder
Match, in which there is an object suspended above the ring that the wrestlers
are fighting over. The goal is to pull the object down. Tables, ladders, and
chairs are provided to increase the chaos.

=         =
TORNADO TAG
=         =
Same thing as a regular tag team match, but instead of having to tag in and
out, all wrestlers are legal at all times. Match ends by pinfall or submission
in the ring.

3. Attitude Era
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
This is the meat and potatoes of WWE '13. Attitude Era replaces "Road to
WrestleMania" and allows players to relive their favorite moments from the most
beloved era in the history of professional wrestling. The story begins in 1997
with the rise of D-X.

Almost every match in the game features "Historical Bonus Objectives". These
Objectives are open to complete in exchange for unlockable content. They task
the player with replicating the actual moment or match exactly as it was
presented on television.

The person that is listed first before each match is the wrestler or tag team
that will be controlled by the player. Opponent(s) are on the right.

                             RISE OF D-X
                         -------------------

==========================
SHAWN MICHAELS VS. MANKIND
==========================
OBJECTIVES
1. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Hit Mankind with a chair
2. Win by pinfall

As Shawn Michaels, you have to not only fight Mankind, but you also have to
hit him with a chair during the match to complete the extra objectives. Chairs
can be found outside the ring and under the ring. Use LB to pick up objects,
and to grab them from under the ring, approach the center of the ring apron and
press LB.

Once you have a chair, simply hit Mankind with the chair. There is no DQ in
this match, so don't worry about being disqualified. After Mankind has been hit
with the chair, win the match by pinning him to satisfy the other objective.

============================================
MICHAELS & HELMSLEY VS. MANKIND & UNDERTAKER
============================================
OBJECTIVES
1. Complete all Historical Bonus Objectives

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Get Mankind's damage to moderate
2. Get Undertaker's damage to light
3. As Michaels, strike Undertaker (as legal opponent) with a chair to get DQ'ed

As you start this match, you will notice that the third HBO (Historical Bonus
Objective, it will be referred to as this acronym throughout the rest of the
guide) is "hidden". Don't fret; this simply means that it won't pop up until a
certain point in the match or that you must complete the objectives that
precede it to make it appear.

For this match, you MUST complete all the bonus objectives. So, first focus on
Mankind. You might as well stay HHH for the majority of the match, but if you
want to tag in Shawn, then do so. Keep beating on Mankind until his damage is
lowered to "moderate". To check his damage status, check the HBO checklist. You
can hide and look at the checklist by pressing the "back" or "select" button.

Undertaker must also be damaged a bit, but he only needs to be taken down to
"light" damage or lower. Try to keep Mankind from tagging Undertaker until he
has been brought down to moderate, as it will be easier that way. You can try
to force them into tagging each other, by throwing them into the corner near
their partner.

When the damage criteria has been met, tag in Shawn. Grab a chair and then hit
Undertaker with the chair. Undertaker has to be the legal opponent for this to
count, though, so make sure he's the man tagged in for the opposing team. Yes,
it's a DQ loss, but it's a necessary one to continue the game.

====================================
HUNTER HEARST HELMSLEY VS. DUDE LOVE
====================================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Hit the Pedigree and pin in 10 seconds

The HBO may seem pretty intimidating, but you don't have to win the entire
match in 10 seconds. You just have to pin Dude Love within 10 seconds of
hitting the Pedigree finishing maneuver of Triple H's.

The reason this is a challenge is that Dude Love needs to be damaged enough
after hitting the first Pedigree to keep him down for the three count. Beat up
on him for a long time before bothering with your Finisher. Do NOT do any
Pedigree attacks until you know that Dude Love will stay down for the three
and you'll be able to pin him.

==================================
SHAWN MICHAELS VS. BRITISH BULLDOG
==================================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win by pinfall or submission

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform a diving attack off the top rope to the outside of the ring
2. Perform 2 Signature Diving Elbow Drops
3. Hit the Sweet Chin Music
4. Win by submission

As you can see, there's a lot of extra stuff to do here in order to satisfy all
the extra requirements. You can complete these in any order, except for #4,
which obviously must be done last in order to win the match. For the sake of
the guide, we'll just go in numerical order.

First up is the diving attack from the top rope to the outside of the ring.
First you need to get Bulldog to the outside of the ring. You can do this by
going out there yourself, baiting him, and then taking him out. This can also
be accomplished by throwing him to the outside of the ring and knocking him
down.

When that's done, go to the top rope and then jump off with a striking attack
by pressing X. You have to land the move for it to register. Next you need to
perform two Diving Elbow Drops, which is the Signature move of Shawn Michaels.

It will say "Signature" under Shawn's feet when he has a Signature move ready
to go. Press "Y" to use Signature and Finishing maneuvers. To perform this
move, an opponent has to be on their back, and Shawn has to be on the top
ropes. You have to do this twice.

After hitting a Signature move, you will have a Finisher ready. Shawn's
Finisher is Sweet Chin Music. So it's likely that you'll complete #3 before
#2, but that's okay. Hit Bulldog with two Sweet Chin Musics to wear him down
even more, and then start focusing on his legs or head with submission holds.
Grapple him when he's on the ground to start laying on the submissions.

Submissions are handled with the "Breaking Point" system. A QTE mini-game pops
up where you have to button mash to make Bulldog submit. Button mash as
instructed and keep doing this until the "Breaking Point" is reached and
Bulldog is forced to tap out.

====================================
DUDE LOVE VS. HUNTER HEARST HELMSLEY *BONUS*
====================================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Hit Helmsley with a trash can
2. Slam Helmsley through the barricade
3. Slam Helmsley through a normal table
4. Win by pinfall

There are also "Bonus" matches in Attitude Era mode that are matches that
occurred around the same time as the storyline that is being followed, but
aren't necessarily important to the story that's being told. You often control
and wrestle opponents that have nothing to do with the story arc that the
main matches are dealing with.

To unlock these, you need to complete the HBOs of the previous matches. Bonus
matches are comprised entirely of HBOs, which make them a bit different than
your typical matches. Once again, for the sake of simplicity, I will go
through the HBO checklist in numerical order.

The first objective is simple. Just grab a trash can and hit HHH with it. From
there, build up a Signature or Finisher as Dude Love, and then whip HHH into
one of the security barricade corners. An icon will pop up saying that this is
an opportunity for an "OMG" moment. Press Y to initiate this moment, and Dude
Love will tackle HHH through the barricade.

Next up is putting Hunter through a table. Get a table out from under the
ring and set it up. You can put HHH through the table in a number of ways. You
can place him on the table and then jump off the top ropes to put him through.
You can slam him through, and you can do a Finisher to him through the table
as well. Whatever your methods, get this done. The announce tables do not
count.

After #1-3 have been completed, it's just a matter of pinning HHH by pressing
"B" when he's on the ground. This is a Hardcore Match, so he can be pinned
anywhere - no need to get him back in the ring if he's not inside of it
already.

=====================================
HUNTER HEARST HELMSLEY VS. UNDERTAKER
=====================================
MATCH OBJECTIVEs
1. Complete all Historical Bonus Objectives

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Get Undertaker's damage to critical
2. Strike Undertaker with a chair while in-ring

Just as before, just beat up on Underatker until his damage is at "Critical"
status. From there, grab a chair and smash a chair on Undertaker while he's in
the ring to complete the match.

=============================
SHAWN MICHAELS VS. UNDERTAKER
=============================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Get Undertaker's damage to critical while in-ring

Beat up on Undertaker until his damage is "critical".

====================================
HUNTER HEARST HELMSLEY VS. BRET HART
====================================
MATCH OBJECTIVEs
1. Complete all Historical Bonus Objectives

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Lure Bulldog into distracting the ref by pinning Bret when his damage is at
critical
2. While Bulldog is distracting the ref, Irish Whip Bret out of the ring
towards the announcer table

Bulldog will be managing Hart on the outside of the ring. Beat up on Bret and
then when his damage is at "Critical", try to pin him. This will result in
Bulldog jumping up on the apron and distracting the referee.

As soon as Bulldog distracts the ref, pick Bret up off the map. Get him close
to the ropes and then whip him to the outside of the ring, toward the announce
table.

============================
SHAWN MICHAELS VS. BRET HART
============================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win by pinfall or submission

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform the Sharpshooter (Signature move) on Bret Hart in the ring

Just fight Bret like a normal match until the HBO reveals itself. At that
point, build up your Signature move and then when Bret is on his back in the
ring, use it to apply a Sharpshooter. The rest, as they say, is history.

================
KANE VS. MANKIND *BONUS*
================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Hit Mankind with the steel steps
2. Put Mankind through the announcer table
3. Land a Tombstone Piledriver
4. Win by pinfall

Grab the steps from outside the ring and hit Mankind with them. Then throw
Mankind to the announcer table and slam him through it in your desired method.
From there, just build up a Finisher and then use Kane's Tombstone Piledriver
in the ring and pin Mankind.

============================================
ROAD DOGG & BILLY GUNN VS. THE ROAD WARRIORS
============================================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. When Hawk is the legal tag partner, get his damage to Moderate
2. Succeed at the WWE Attitude Moment
3. Strike Hawk with the Tag Team Title (by the announcer table) before the
ref wakes up
4. Win by pinfall with Billy Gunn pinning Animal

Animal is the first of the Road Warriors that will be in the ring, so try to
get him to tag Hawk. I recommend tagging out to Road Dogg pretty quickly in
the match as Billy Gunn has to do the #4 objective and pin Animal, so it is a
good idea to keep him as fresh as possible.

When Hawk is the legal partner, do everything in your power to lower his
damage to Moderate and keep him from tagging back out to Animal. When his
damage is at Moderate, you'll have to complete a "WWE Attitude Moment", which
is a QTE.

A box will pop up on the screen during the scene, and one of the four face
buttons will flash. Tap this button as instruced and the referee will be
taken out by a stray attack. As soon as this happens, get out of the ring and
go to the barricade near the announce table to grab one of the tag titles and
return tot he ring.

Hit Hawk with the title before the referee gets back up. Since the referee is
down, you can't get disqualified for using the weapon. After hitting him,
keep the fight going until Hawk tags out to Animal, and then keep working over
Animal until he is pinnable.

==================
??? VS. BILLY GUNN *BONUS*
==================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform a Finisher on Billy Gunn & pin him in 10 seconds
2. Win in 4 minutes

"???" turns out to be none other than Dude Love! As Dude Love, immediately
start putting the hurt on Gunn. You have to beat him within 4 minutes, but not
only that, you have to pin him within 10 seconds of hitting your finishing
move.

Road Dogg at ringside makes this somewhat more irritating, so waste his ref
distraction by hitting Billy with a couple of Signature moves and going for the
pin. Then use your Finisher and pin him. Be relentless so you can beat Billy
before the timer runs out.

                         -------------------
                             AUSTIN 3:16
                         -------------------

============
ROYAL RUMBLE
============
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win the Royal Rumble

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform a Stunner on The Rock
2. Win after eliminating at least 3 opponents

Austin doesn't come out until pretty late in the Rumble. When you do come out,
immediately start eliminating people. To eliminate wrestlers in a Royal Rumble,
grapple them in corners, or when they're against the ropes. You will then have
to complete QTE mini-games to finish the elimination.

Corner eliminations are a test of speed to see if you can get a button that
flashes on the screen faster than your opponent. When on the apron, you have
to stop a ball in a designated area on a bar while your opponent button mashes
to avoid being eliminated. And when they're against the ropes, it's just a
matter of button mashing to tip them over.

When someone else is tryign to do an elimination, you can help them out by
grappling the opponent with them. This does count for the three opponents that
Austin needs to eliminate. When you see The Rock, be sure to use a Finisher on
him as a Stunner, not an elimination Finisher.

Elimination Finishers can be performed in any "elimination" part of the ring
detailed above. When you have a Finisher built up, you can tap Y and
automatically eliminate any opponent with it unless they manage to counter the
move.

==========================
STEVE AUSTIN VS. ROAD DOGG
==========================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform a Stunner on Billy Gunn
2. Win in 2 minutes

Billy Gunn will be managing Road Dogg in this match. Build up a finisher and
then use it on Billy Gunn outside of the ring by approaching him. Be sure to
use your Signature on Road Dogg to have him damaged, as you do have to win the
match in only 2 minutes time.

===============================
STEVE AUSTIN VS. SHAWN MICHAELS
===============================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win by pinfall or submission

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Succeed at the WWE Attitude Moment
2. Perform a Stunner on Michaels
3. Win by pinfall

The WWE Attitude Moment will be the first thing that needs to happen. As you
can remember if you've seen the actual match that occurred at WrestleMania
XIV, it involves the special enforcer of the match, Mike Tyson. After you
complete that QTE, it's just a regular match except you need to focus on
winning by pifnall, and hitting Michaels with at least one Stunner.

===================
UNDERTAKER VS. KANE *BONUS*
===================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform a Chokeslam
2. Perform 3 Tombstone Piledrivers
3. Win the match by pinfall

Undertaker's secondary Finisher is the Chokeslam. To perform secondary
Finishers, use a regular finisher, except tilt the left analog stick to the
left or right to initiate the secondary Finisher. After this has been done,
build up three more Finishers and hit Kane with three Tombstones. Then pin him
to win.

===================
UNDERTAKER VS. KANE *BONUS*
===================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform a Signature move
2. Perform a Chokeslam
3. Get Kane's damage to critical and perform a standing grapple
4. Within 20 seconds, perform a dive over the fire

This is an Inferno match, which means that fire surrounds the ring. To win or
lose the match typically, someone has to be lit on fire, with the flaming one
being the loser. Fight Kane and build the flames up by hitting him with a
Signature move and then a Chokeslam. Remember, the Chokeslam is Undertaker's
secondary Finisher.

From there, focus on wearing Kane down until his damage is at Critical, if it's
not there already. Then let him stand up and perform any grapple move on him.
After the scene, dive out of the ring by running to the ropes and pressing X
when prompted.

==========================
STEVE AUSTIN VS. DUDE LOVE
==========================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Succeed at the WWE Attitude Moment
2. Hit Dude Love with a chair within 20 seconds
3. Win by pinfall

Keep fighting Dude Love until the Attitude Moment happens. When that's done,
let Dude Love leave the ring and go talk to Mr. McMahon. When this is
happening, you will have 20 seconds to grab a steel chair and try to hit Dude
Love in the back with it. After that, keep fighting Dude Love in the ring and
then pin him.

==========================
STEVE AUSTIN VS. DUDE LOVE
==========================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Get Dude Love's damage to moderate & attempt a pin
2. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Pin Dude Love in 1 minute

Fight Dude Love until his damage is Moderate, and then try to pin him within
1 minute of this happening.

                         -------------------
                       BROTHERS OF DESTRUCTION
                         -------------------

===================
KANE VS. UNDERTAKER
===================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform a Chokeslam
2. Succeed at the WWE Attitude Moment
3. Perform Tombstone Piledriver & pin Undertaker in 10 seconds

As Kane, perform a Chokeslam on Undertaker. Undertaker and Kane's Finishers
are reversed. With Kane, just press Y to perform a Chokeslam. To perform a
Tombstone Piledriver as Kane, you'll need to tilt the left analog stick while
pressing Y.

After hitting the Chokeslam, continue the match until the WWE Attitude Moment
occurs. Then build up another Finisher and hit the Tombstone. You can press B
at the end of the Tombstone to immediately go into a pin, which makes the
"pin in 10 seconds" part of the objective much easier to accomplish.

============================================
KANE & MANKIND VS. STEVE AUSTIN & UNDERTAKER
============================================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Make your way to the front of the cell
2. Knockout Stone Cold
3. Knockout Bearer in 1 minute

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Knockout Stone Cold in 2 minutes
2. Knockout Bearer in 1 minute

You actually begin this match controlling Steve Austin. Run down the ramp to
the front of the cell, and then your control will switch to Kane. Mankind will
help you beat up on Austin. Use power moves on him, and try to do moves that
make him land on the ramp to damage him faster, leading to a quicker knockout.

When that's done, your control switches to Undertaker inside the cell with
Paul Bearer. Beat up on Bearer as quickly as possible. To complete the match
at all, you MUST knockout Bearer within 1 minute. It's both an HBO as well as a
requirement to continue.

=========================
KEN SHAMROCK VS. THE ROCK *BONUS*
=========================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVEs
1. Force The Rock to submit using the Ankle Lock Finisher

Shamrock's Finishing move to their legs while they are on the ground is the
Ankle Lock. Try to focus your attacks on the legs of The Rock to make him tap
out faster, but in theory, you could just spam the Ankle Lock until Rock
eventually taps out to it.

======================
UNDERTAKER VS. MANKIND
======================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Throw Mankind off the Cell through the announcer table
2. Perform a Chokeslam through the cell roof to the ring below
3. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Win by pinfall

The match actually begins on top of the cell. Throw Mankind to the edge and
you will be given an opportunity for an "OMG!" moment that will see Mankind
fall off the top of the cell and through the announce table. Sit through the
scenes, and then Mankind will be back on top of the cell.

Now build up a Finisher. Perform Undertaker's secondary finisher on the top of
the cell, in the middle of it. This will cause Mankind to fall through the
ceiling and smash on the mat below. Then Undertaker will hop through the
ceiling and you can finish the match. Win by pinning Mankind to satisfy all
the requirements.

=====================
KANE VS. STEVE AUSTIN
=====================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Succeed at the WWE Attitude Moment

This match can be two different matches. If you have turned on "Blood" turned
on in the Options menu, it will be a historically accurate "First Blood"
match. If you have blood turned off, then the match will be a Last Man Standing
Match.

At any rate, it's irrelevant. Just play the match until Mankind shows up and
the WWE Attitude Momment. The Attitude Moment QTE will finish the match.

=====================
STEVE AUSTIN VS. KANE
=====================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win by pinfall or submission

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform a diving attack off of the apron
2. Perform an Irish whip and make Kane flip over the double steel steps
3. Perform the Lou Thesz Press Signature move
4. Perform a Finisher on Kane & pin him in 10 seconds

Get Kane to the outside of the ring, and then step on the apron by pushing
against the ropes (or apron, if you're outside) and tapping LB. Austin will
then be on the apron. Press X to perform a diving attack off the apron and to
satisfy the first requirement.

Outside the ring still, throw Kane into the steps. Then get him back in the
ring and wrestle the match until Austin has his Signature move. Use the Lou
Thesz Press by running at Kane and tapping Y when the indicator pops up on the
screen.

From there, nail him with a Stunner, and be very quick to go for the pin as
you have to pin him within 10 seconds again.

===========================
STEVE AUSTIN VS. UNDERTAKER
===========================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Complete all Historical Bonus Objectives

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform Lou Thesz Press Signature move
2. Get opponent's damage to moderate
3. Dragon opponent to hearse

In the ring, beat up on Undertaker and then perform a Lou Thesz Press. Then
keep fighting him until his damage is moderate. Then get Undertaker out of the
ring and drag him to the stage at the top of the ramp. Press both triggers
together to drag Undertaker to the top of the stage and near the hearse to
end the match.

================
KANE VS. MANKIND
================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Get Mankind's damage to critical & attempt a pin

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Hit Mankind with a chair
2. Hit Mankind with the steel steps
3. Perform 3 Chokeslams

Just beat the holy hell out of Mankind in this match. Get him outside the ring
and wail on him with a chair. Then throw him into the steps. And then it's a
matter of hitting him with three Chokeslams. Then continue to fight Mankind
until his damage is critical and try to pin him.

===========================
NEW AGE OUTLAWS VS. MANKIND *BONUS*
===========================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Strike Mankind with any object 10 times
2. Perform 2 double team moves
3. Perform a tag team Finisher & win by pinfall in 10 seconds
4. Win in 5 minutes

I would immediately grab a weapon and just beat the hell out of Mankind. This
is a handicap match, so that means it's a 2 on 1 situation, leaving Mankind
with no one to tag. After hitting him with something or multiple somethings 10
times, it's time to perform the double team moves.

To perform double team moves, throw Mankind in your corner. Then grapple him.
This will automatically tag your partner and at the same time, they will do a
double team move. Do this twice, and then build up a Finisher. Then throw him
in your corner again, but this time press Y to do a tag team Finisher.

Go for a pin immediately after this. Be quick about this match as you have to
win within 5 minutes time.

=====================
TRIPLE H VS. THE ROCK *BONUS*
=====================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Win the match

This is the classic Ladder Match that happened between HHH and The Rock at
SummerSlam 1998. To win a Ladder Match, set up a ladder in the center of the
ring, underneath the shadow of the title belt that is hanging from the rafters.
Then climb up the ladder and tilt the right analog stick up to grab onto the
belt.

When the game tells you, pull the right analog stick down to start yanking on
the belt. Repeat this process until HHH pulls down the IC title.

===========================
STEVE AUSTIN VS. UNDERTAKER
===========================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win by pinfall or submission

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Slam Undertaker through the announcer table
2. Perform a Finisher & win by pinfall in 10 seconds

First thing you should do is slam Undertaker through the announcer table so
that you don't forget to do it later. Then continue beating up on him until he
is hurt enough that you can nail a Stunner and them immediately pin him.

====================================
KANE VS. UNDERTAKER VS. STEVE AUSTIN
====================================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Pin Austin while he has critical damage

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform a double team move in-ring on Austin while he has critical damage

This is a Triple Threat Match, so doing the double team move at the end isn't
as easy as before. Focus mainly on Austin until his damage is at critical.
Then constantly grapple him until Undertaker joins you in the grapple. Then
go for a pin.

=====================================
THE ROCK VS. MANKIND VS. KEN SHAMROCK *BONUS*
=====================================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Win the match

This is the first ever Triple Threat Steel Cage Match in the history of WWE.
To win a cage match, you have to climb out of the cage and land on the outside.
Press LB while leaning the left analog stick in the direction of the cage,
and then tap A when the tip of the arrow is on the right side of the bar to
get the most climb.

At the top of the cage, continue the QTE until you hop out. Of course, your
opponents will also try to climb out of the cage. As they scale the cage walls,
tilt the analog stick to them and press A to grapple and rip them off of the
cage to prevent them from winning.

A good strategy to keep both opponents down and give you enough time to scale
the cage is to use a Signature move on one enemy, and then quickly use your
Finisher on the other one.

===================
UNDERTAKER VS. KANE
===================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Pin Kane while he has critical damage

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Avoid using any Finishers
2. Strike Kane with a chair while he has critical damage

Don't use any Finishers during this match. However, you can still use
Signature moves if you'd like. Wali on Kane and then hit him with a chair when
his damage is at critical. Then get him in the ring and try to pin him with
his damage at critical.

========================
KEN SHAMROCK VS. MANKIND *BONUS*
========================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Force Mankind to submit in-ring using the Ankle Lock Finisher

Getting Mankind to "submit" is incredibly difficult, as you could imagine.
However, just use the same strategy as was employed during the match with The
Rock earlier.

                         -------------------
                            THE GREAT ONE
                         -------------------

=========================
THE ROCK VS. KEN SHAMROCK
=========================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Get Shamrock's damage to moderate

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Get Shamrock's damage to moderate in 2 minutes

All you need to do to finish this match is getting Shamrock's damage meter to
the moderate setting. No pinning or submissions required here.

=======================
THE ROCK VS. MARK HENRY
=======================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform the Rock Bottom on Mark Henry
2. Perform the People's Elbow on Mark Henry
3. Win the match in 4 minutes

Just do as the HBOs say. The People's Elbow is a Finisher along with the Rock
Bottom, so you basically have to build up and use two Finishers and then pin
mark within four minutes to win here.

=========================
THE ROCK VS. BIG BOSS MAN
=========================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Win the match in 1 minute
2. Win the match with light or less damage

Avoid getting hit as much as possible. Yes, that sounds silly, but getting
your damage worse than light results in a failed HBO. Not only that, but you
have to beat Big Boss Man very quickly, so you'll need to reverse any and all
moves he tries to use to ensure that he takes damage nearly every second of the
match.

=========================
THE ROCK VS. KEN SHAMROCK
=========================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Succeed at the WWE Attitude Moment
2. Perform the People's Elbow on Shamrock
3. Win by pinfall in 8 minutes or less

You have a decent amount of time to win this match. Complete the QTE when it
pops up, then build up your Finisher. To use Rock's Finisher the People's
Elbow, the opponent has to be on the ground, and you have to go near their
head and press Y. You can also use the Rock Bottom later if this isn't
enough to put Shamrock away.

===================
UNDERTAKER VS. KANE *BONUS*
===================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Hit the Tombstone Piledriver & pin Kane in 10 seconds

Just a regular match, except you have to pin Kane within 10 seconds of hitting
him with the Tombstone.

=======================
THE ROCK VS. UNDERTAKER
=======================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform the People's Elbow on Undertaker

Hit Undertaker with the People's Elbow and then finish the match.

====================
THE ROCK VS. MANKIND
====================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win by pinfall or submission

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Strike Mankind with a chair at least 6 times
2. Perform the People's Elbow
3. Perform the Rock Bottom
4. Get Mankind's damage to moderate & perform the Sharpshooter

Get the chair right off the bat and just wail on Mankind. This should get you a
Finisher fairly quickly. At that point, hit the People's Elbow first, then go
for the Rock Bottom later. Then continue to beat up Mankind until his damage is
at moderate and perform a Sharpshooter by using a Finisher on Mankind's legs
and watch the cut-scenes that follow.

==================
X-PAC VS. THE ROCK *BONUS*
==================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Get The Rock's damage to critical
2. Perform a Finisher & pin in 10 secodns

As X-Pac, beat up on The Rock until his damage is at critical. Then use one
of X-Pac's Finishers and try to pin Rock within 10 seconds of hitting the
Finisher.

                                MANKIND
                         -------------------

====================
MANKIND VS. THE ROCK
====================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform the Mandible Claw on The Rock

Mankind's Finisher is the Mandible Claw. Use it on The Rock and then beat him.

================
MANKIND VS. KANE
================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Get Kane's damage to critical
2. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Find Mr. McMahon backstage in 30 seconds or less
2. Perform an environmental grapple
3. Knockout Mr. McMahon in 2 minutes

Fight with Kane until his damage is at critical. Then Mr. McMahon will come
out and challenge Mankind to a parking lot brawl backstage. Exit the ring and
go up the ramp and to the backstage area. Press Y to enter the backstage area.

You will automatically be in the parking lot with Mr. McMahon. Throw him
against an object in the parking lot, such as a car, and then grapple him
again to perform an environmental grapple. From there, just beat the crap out
of McMahon some more until he finally is knocked out, which is the only way to
win this kind of match.

==========================
ROAD DOGG VS. BIG BOSS MAN
==========================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Slam Big Boss Man through the crowd barrier
2. Strike Big Boss Man with a trash can at least 3 times
3. Avoid being hit with a Signature or Finisher move
4. Win by pinfall outside the ring

First up, do the "OMG!" moment through the security barricade just like you
did ages ago in another match. Then grab a trashcan from under the ring and
use it to smash Big Boss Man three times. Do your best to reverse all of
Boss Man's attacks. If he gets a Signature or Finisher built up, flee, because
it's game over if he nails it.

When Boss Man has been beaten up sufficiently, pin him outside of the ring.
Since this is a Hardcore Match, pinfalls count anywhere.

====================
MANKIND VS. THE ROCK
====================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win by pinfall or submission

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform at least 1 Finisher
2. Perform at least 5 object attacks
3. Win in 1 minute or less

Right from the start of the match, just beat up Rock with weapons. This will
help build a Finisher faster, and plus you need to hit Rock five times with
any weapon. Then use a Finisher, then try to pin him. If he kicks out, use
power grapples and try to pin him after each one.

====================
THE ROCK VS. MANKIND
====================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win the I Quit match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Grapple Mankind as he's leaning on the announcer table
2. Lure Mankind to the stage after he has moderate damage
3. Perform The People's Elbow
4. Hit Mankind with a chair 13 times while in-ring

Throw Mankind to the outside of the ring. Throw him against the announcer
table and then grapple him while he's leaning against the table. After that,
fight Mankind to the stage when he has moderate damage and then make Mankind
follow you to the stage area.

Following the scene, fight Mankind back to the ring. Inside the ring, build up
a Finisher and then use the People's Elbow on Mankind. Then go outside of the
ring and grab a steel chair. #4 is a Hidden Objective, so don't use chairs
until this point.

With the chair in hand, hit Mankind with it 13 times in the ring. It is likely
that the chair will break during this, so you'll have to go back outside and
get another chair. With your new chair, continue until the 13 time requirement
has been fulfilled.

====================
MANKIND VS. THE ROCK
====================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Go backstage & win by pinfall or submission

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Grapple the Rock as he's leaning on the forklift

Leave the ring and go backstage. To go to the backstage area, walk up the ramp
and then approach the door that leads backstage. Press "Y" in the WWE icon to
go to the backstage area.

Move through the backstage area. Take a left down the hallway, then go south to
find the forklift. Throw The Rock into the forklift and then grapple him while
he's leaning against it.

=================
TRIPLE H VS. KANE *BONUS*
=================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Successfully perform a Corner 10 Punch Combo
2. Win the match without hitting your Finisher
3. Win by escaping the cage

This is a cage match with Kane. Throw Kane into the corner and grapple him to
start a 10 Punch Combo. Triple H will mount the corner, and then raise his
fist in the air. Hit Kane 10 times by pressing X repeatedly. When this is done,
continue wearing him down.

You can't use your Finisher in this match, but Signature moves are fair game.
Try climbing the cage often. The match can also end by pinfall or submission,
and it is likely that Kane will try to win using those methods, so watch out
for that.

                           WRESTLEMANIA XV
                         -------------------

============================
STEVE AUSTIN VS. MR. MCMAHON
============================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Stop Mr. McMahon from climbing the cage
2. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Prevent Mr. McMahon from climbing the cage
2. Climb to the top of the cage & escape to win
3. Perform a Stunner on Mr. McMahon

The match will begin outside of the cage. McMahon will run around the ring in
an attempt to flee from Austin. He will then try to climb the cage. Rush over
to that side of the cage and grapple against him to rip McMahon off the cage.

Since the HBOs are hidden, and even #1 of the main objectives is hidden, you
have to do everything in order for this match. The match will go into the ring,
and at that point you just need to win the match by climbing out of the cage.
Another scene will occur, and McMahon will trick Austin back into the ring.

Now keep fighting McMahon until you have your Finisher. Use your Stunner on
McMahon to win.

====================
THE ROCK VS. MANKIND
====================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Put Mankind through the announcer table

Throw Mankind through the announcer table and then finish him off in the ring.

========================
MANKIND VS. STEVE AUSTIN
========================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform the Double-Arm DDT on Austin
2. Perform the Mandible Claw on Austin
3. Win by submission

Mankind has two Finishers. One of his Finishers is the Mandible Claw, which you
used earlier. The other Finisher is a Double-Arm DDT. Use both of these
Finishers on Austin. Then focus on using submission style attacks on Austin to
wear him down and finish off the match.

===========================
STEVE AUSTIN VS. PAUL WIGHT
===========================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Win the match

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES</pre><pre id="faqspan-2">
1. Perform the Lou Thesz Press Signature move
2. Strike Paul Wight with a chair at least 5 times
3. Avoid getting hit by any Finishers
4. Perform a Finisher on Paul Wight & pin him in 10 seconds

First build up a Signature and use it on Wight. Paul Wight, for you younger WWE
fans out there, is known today as The Big Show. After using this move, get a
chair and then wail on Wight five times with the chair. If he has a Finisher
built up, be quick to counter or run away.

Then when you have a Finisher of your own and Wight is sufficiently beat up,
use your Finisher. Then you have 10 seconds to pin Wight.

=======================
SHANE MCMAHON VS. X-PAC *BONUS*
=======================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Get X-Pac's damage to moderate
2. Hit X-Pac with a Finisher & pin him in 10 seconds

Fight X-Pac until his damage is moderate. Triple H will then run into the ring
and turn on X-Pac, resulting in a cut-scene. Then build a Finisher and use it
on X-Pac, pinning him within 10 seconds.

=========================
STEVE AUSTIN VS. THE ROCK
=========================
MATCH OBJECTIVES
1. Lure The Rock to the stage after he has moderate damage
2. Grapple The Rock while he's leaning on the announcer table
3. Perform a Finisher on The Rock & pin him in 10 seconds
4. Win by pin or submission

HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVE
1. Succeed at the WWE Attitude Moment

Beat up on Rock until he has moderate damage. You can do the announcer table
spot on the outside first to help build up to that moderate damage and kill
two birds with one stone. Then go to the stage area and lure Rock to the top
of the stage and watch the ensuing cut-scene.

Then fight back down to the ring and continue to beat up on Rock. Use your
Finisher and attempt to pin him within 10 seconds. Another cut-scene will
happen and then Mankind will come down to the ring and take up his spot as the
special referee in the match.

Continue the match until you have another Finisher. Try to use the Stunner on
The Rock, but a WWE Attitude Moment will happen. Successfully complete this
and then pin The Rock quickly to end the match.

========================
BRET HART VS. UNDERTAKER *BONUS*
========================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Get Undertaker's damage to moderate
2. Succeed at the WWE Attitude Moment
3. Get Undertaker's damage to critical & hit him with a chair while in-ring
4. Pin Undertaker

Wrestle Undertaker until his damage is moderate. Continue the match until the
WWE Attitude Moment happens and then successfully complete it. Then keep
wrestling Undertaker until you can bring his health down to critical. Then
grab a chair and hit Undertaker with the chair while standing in the ring.
From there, try to pin the Undertaker to finish the match.

KANE VS. VADER
==============
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES.
1. Hit a Diving Clothesline from the top rope
2. Perform a Chokeslam
3. Perform a Tombstone Piledriver and pin him in 10 seconds

To use Kane's diving clothesline, go to the top ropes. Wait for Vader to stand
up, and then press X to use the move. From there, use a Chokeslam. Then build
up another Finisher and use a Tombstone Piledriver on Vader. Be sure to pin
him within 10 seconds to win the match.

============================================
GODFATHER & MARK HENRY VS. THE ROAD WARRIORS
============================================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform the Pimp Drop
2. Prevent Hawk from ever tagging into the match
3. Win by pinfall with Godfather pinning Animal

Animal will be the legal man at first, and you have to make sure that he is the
legal man for the rest of the match. A good way to do this is to knock Hawk off
the apron periodically. You can tell when Animal is going to try to tag in, as
he will sort of stop everything and slowly walk backwards to Hawk. Run and
knock him down to prevent the tag from happening.

Godfather's Finisher is the Pimp Drop. Use it on Animal. You have to pin Animal
using Godfather to complete the final HBO.

==============
EDGE VS. VADER
==============
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform the Downward Spiral and pin him in 10 seconds
2. Win in 4 minutes or less

Edge's move back in the day was the Downward Spiral. It was just a lifting DDT.
Build up a Finisher and then use it on Vader and go for the pin. If you do
all of this within 4 minutes, you win the match.

=================================================
THE ROCK & STEVE AUSTIN VS. TRIPLE H & UNDERTAKER
=================================================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform the Rock Bottom on Triple H
2. Perform the Stunner on Undertaker
3. Win by pinfall

You don't have to use the Finishers on the legal men of this match, so you
don't need to worry about who is legal on the other team. Just use Rock Bottom
on Triple H and Stunner on Undertaker before beating one of them by pinfall.

=========================
ACOLYTES VS. KANE & X-PAC
=========================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perfrom the Clothesline From Hell on X-Pac
2. Win by pinfall with Bradshaw pinning X-Pac

Bradshaw's Finisher is the Clothesline from Hell. Use it on X-Pac, and then
win the match by having Bradshaw be the one to pin X-Pac.

===========================
CHRIS JERICHO VS. ROAD DOGG
===========================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform the Liontamer on Road Dogg
2. Perform a Power Bomb as a Finisher and send Road Dogg through a normal table
to get DQ'd in 5 minutes or less

The #2 of this is incredibly difficult to pull off in this match. Jericho has
two Finishers as his Attitude Era character, which is the Liontamer (Walls of
Jericho) and a powerbomb. First use the Liontamer on Road Dogg, but cancel it
as soon as it's locked on so you don't waste time and so that Road Dogg doesn't
tap out.

Now build up another Finisher. Get a table involved and set it up. Get Road
Dogg up in a powerbomb finisher, and then send him through the table to get
purposefully DQ'd.

=============================
ACOLYTES VS. EDGE & CHRISTIAN
=============================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform at least 2 double team moves
2. Win by pinfall with Christian pinning Bradshaw

This one is very easy. You can do the two double team moves right off the bat
just to get them out of the way, and then wrestle the rest of the match like
it was any other match. When Bradshaw is legal, do everything in your power to
keep him legal, as you need to be Christian and pin Bradshaw.

==========================
LITA VS. STEPHANIE MCMAHON
==========================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform the Moonsault from the top rope & pin her in 10 seconds

Lita's Finisher is a top rope Moonsault. Build up a Finisher and then get
Stephanie on the ground. Climb to the top ropes and press Y to execute the
Finisher and then pin Stephanie. You will have a chance after the move hits to
press B and immediately go into a pin on Stephanie.

===============================
EDDIE GUERRERO VS. STEVE AUSTIN
===============================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Perform a Stunner
2. Win by pinfall in 2 minutes or less

Despite Eddie's name being first, you will actually control Steve Austin for
this match. This is just a regular wrestling match, except you have to win
within 2 minutes and use a Stunner on Eddie.

======================
TRISH STRATUS VS. LITA
======================
HISTORICAL BONUS OBJECTIVES
1. Avoid getting hit by a Finisher
2. Win by pinfall

Lita's moves are much easier to avoid as her secondary Finisher is the
Moonsault. Of course, she can still hit you with a Twist of Fate. Win the
match and don't let Lita use any Finishers on Trish.

                               RANKINGS
                         -------------------

WWE Universe mode uses a Ranking system to determine which superstars deserve a
title shot and who should feud with who. The rankings are separated into two
different brands, Raw and SmackDown, and each different title has its own
"Ranking" list to determine who will be next in line for a title shot.

The following is the default beginning ranking in WWE '13. Rankings can be
edited, just like much of the rest of WWE Universe mode. Wrestlers 2-5 are the
top four contenders for the title. If you want to naturally progress your
chosen wrestler to the top of the Rankings and earn them a title shot the
old fashioned way, it's a good idea to book matches against the champion and
the top contenders.

                             EDIT UNIVERSE
                         -------------------

You can make edits to WWE Universe to make it more to your own personal
liking. There are a variety of different edits that can be made, which all have
an effect on different aspects of the game.

=             =
EDIT SUPERSTARS
=             =
All the different superstars can be edited. You can change which brand they are
affiliated with, for example, and you can also edit their momentum, which
determines how popular they are with the crowd.

The modern day superstars will be associated with either Raw or SmackDown by
default. However, the Attitude Era wrestlers will be on the "Raw is War" brand
by default.

=          =
EDIT ROSTERS
=          =
You can also change brand affiliation from here. You can make superstars active
or inactive as well. There are different categories available to assign a
superstar:

Raw
SmackDown
Legends
Free Agent
Raw is War
Inactive

=        =
EDIT TEAMS
=        =
Different wrestlers can be paired together if you wish, or you can also go
here to see what different official tag teams are available in the game. After
unlocking all the characters, there are a total of 12 different tag teams in
the game.

Throughout the course of WWE Universe, teams will break up, new teams will
form, and more. Check this page often if you are unsure as to the status of a
particular team or if a new team has formed.

Stables can also be created, or form naturally through WWE Universe. Stables
are groups of wrestlers that contain more than two wrestlers. A team of only
two wrestlers is known as a tag team.

These are the 12 tag teams that are available in the game post-Attitude Era
full completion:

1. Epico & Primo
2. Ziggler & Swagger
3. Kofi & R-Truth
4. Brothers of Destruction (Kane & Undertaker)
5. New Age Outlaws (Billy Gunn & Road Dogg)
6. The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk)
7. Edge & Christian
8. D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels & Triple H)
9. Acolytes (Bradshaw & Faarooq)
10. The Corporation (Shane/Shamrock/Boss Man/Vince/Paul Wight)
11. Team Cobro (Santino Marella & Zack Ryder)
12. Bella Twins (Brie & Nikki Bella)

=         =
EDIT TITLES
=         =
There are a lot of championships in the game. Many of this championships are
unlocked by playing through Attitude Era, but there are also titles unlocked by
playing through WWE Universe, unlocking achievements, and whatever else. The
title belts that are in the game by default without having unlocked anything
are detailed above in the "Rankings" section.

Newly unlocked titles will sometimes have a title holder, but a lot of them
will be vacant. Title holders can be changed at a whim, and vacant slots can
be filled just by choosing a wrestler to fill that position.

=           =
STORY OPTIONS
=           =
Storylines will be created in WWE Universe by playing through the mode. You can
alter aspects of WWE Universe to have control of the different storyline
aspects that can occur while playing the game. You can toggle any of the
following "ON" or "OFF" based on preference:

Non-PPV Show Stories
Team Forming/Disbanding Stories
Crowd Reaction Changing Stories
Injury Stories

If you turn off the "Injury Stories", wrestlers won't be injured. Turning off
"Crowd Reaction Changing Stories" will prevent any heel or face turns from
happening. Turning off "Team Forming/Disbanding Stories" makes it so that no
new teams can't be created through stories in WWE Universe, and teams can't
break up either. Turning off "Non-PPV Show Stories" makes it so that stories
will only occur during PPVs, and never during episodes of Raw and SmackDown.

=                =
RESET WWE UNIVERSE
=                =
Here is the description given for this by the game:

"Match progress, stable information, shows, rosters and Superstars will be
reset to their default settings. You may wish to edit some of these settings
after resetting the WWE Universe mode to change them back to the desired
settings."

                              STATISTICS
                         -------------------

Here you can find actual, real-life historical facts about WWE. By playing
WWE Universe, you can actually change some of these statistics, which is neat.
For your knowledge, I will provide the stats as they are before any changes are
made in WWE Universe.

For simplicity's sake, I will not include the stats associated with unlocked
titles.

NOTE: Some of these stats are outdated at the time of this writing. For
example, John Cena no longer holds the record for weeks holding the modern WWE
Championship. He was surpassed by current WWE Champion CM Punk some weeks ago.

PPVs. Listed here are the championship stats that I've already marked down.
However, there are also stats pertaining to Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, and
Money in the Bank here as well.

Granted, some of these stats may be outdated by the time you read this due to
events that have happened in real life WWE. Your performances in WWE Universe
mode will also alter these stats. Just so you know what those stats were
before you played WWE Universe, I will provide them here.

5. WWE Creations
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Like all of the games in the series, WWE '13 features a robust wrestler
creation system. Fans of indie wrestling will see cool threads that are very
obviously based on popular indie stars, and those brimming with creativity will
be able to come up with truly unique and incredible designs.

Of course, there's a lot more to edit than just superstars this time around...

=       =
SUPERSTAR
=       =
The meat and potatos of this mode. Players are able to create their own
superstar or diva, known as a "CAW" (Create-A-Wrestler). Their name,
nickname, brand loyalty, heel/face status, and much more can be assigned here.

=      =
ENTRANCE
=      =
Every good wrestler needs a memorable entrance. In this mode, you can choose
the entrance video for a wrestler, the music that they come out to, and what
they do when they come out to the ring. You can create an entrance without
creating a superstar, and then assign that entrance to a pre-existing wrestler
on the roster.

=      =
MOVE-SET
=      =
A wrestler's moves are edited here. All different moves are chosen here, and
players can go in-depth as they'd like.

=          =
SPECIAL MOVE
=          =
Players can also create their very own Finishing Move and apply it to a
created wrestler or give it to a pre-existing wrestler on the roster.

=   =
STORY
=   =
Stories can be created by the player as well, and they can record these
storylines and upload them for other players to download and go through.

=   =
ARENA
=   =
Arenas can be created so players have their own custome battlegrounds.

=  =
LOGO
=  =
Nowadays, superstars and shows are associated with logos, which are creative
graphic icons that appear next to them. This mode allows you to create your
own!

=                =
WWE HIGHLIGHT REEL
=                =
If something cool happens in a match, players can pause the game, rewind the
match, find what they liked, and watch it happen. Matches can be reserved for
editing in the "Highlight Reel" later, where players can edit film and upload
it as well.
