001. General Information

This is a walkthrough for the game called "Princess
Isabella: A Witch's Curse". It was first released in 2009.

003. Walkthrough
-----------------------------------------------------------
In this game, you will travel through the castle. There are
25 rooms in total, and you want to undo the curse on all of
them.
003a. The Servant
-----------------------------------------------------------
Courtyard, Main Floor
---------------------
Since this is the first screen, undoing the curse here will
be rather simple. Find the three mirror shards, then do the
hidden objects scene on the left for various items.
Grand Hall
----------
Pick up the three mirror pieces in this room, as well as a
journal piece. There are three stained-glass windows in the
upper/right. Examine them. Each window has many evil
objects on it. Find and click on all the evil objects to
clean the window. Clean all three windows to restore the
room to normal.
On the upper floor is a painting. Examine it for a puzzle.
Recreate the picture to make gears appear in the lion
statues on the bottom floor. Pick up both gears, then
examine the door on the bottom floor. Put the gears on the
door, so they all fit perfectly. Pull the handle to open
the door.
Hall of Reflection
------------------
This hall has seven mirrors. Over the course of the game,
you will find mirror pieces. Put the pieces on the mirrors
here to free people.
For example, there are six mirror pieces in the first two
rooms. If you haven't already done so, find them now. Use
them on the leftmost mirror here and do a simple jigsaw
puzzle to free the servant. He unlocks the door to the
hallway.
003b. The Maid
-----------------------------------------------------------
Hallway
-------
This is the first of many hallways you will go through in
this game. Pick up the bottle on the floor, and your fairy
gains the smash ability. You can now smash things! Try it
out by smashing the vase here for the planet Mercury. Go
back to the grand hall and use the smash ability to destroy
the jar in the lower/left for a gun stock.
Back to the hallway, the door to the right is locked with a
puzzle that you won't solve until the end of the game.
Instead, go left to the piano lounge.
Piano Lounge
------------
Use the rock ability to smash the vase, for Venus. Solve
the hidden objects challenge for a potion challenge. To
solve it, clear the board by clicking on areas. When you
click on a spot, every adjacent spot of the same color is
removed. You have a limited number of moves to clear the
board.
Use the potion on the fireplace to fix the room. Find the
three mirror pieces and the diary piece. Go forward to
another hallway.
Hallway
-------
Use the fairy's rock ability to smash the vase and the
plate. One has a piano key, while the other has a mirror
piece. The room is cleared.
From here, you can go right to the observatory or left to
the hunting room.
Observatory
-----------
Pick up the book on the table, the two mirror pieces, and
use the rock ability on the crystal ball for Mars.
Examine the telescope and put the book in place for a
puzzle. You want to move stars around, to form the
constellations. If a star is red, it is not in the correct
spot. Solving the puzzle fixes the room.
Solve the hidden objects challenge for some items.
, but you still need a planet in order to complete the
mobile in the upper/left.
Hunting Gallery
---------------
Solve the hidden objects challenge for items. One of them
is a planet. Go back to the observatory and put all the
planets on the mobile in the upper/left to find a bear claw
and clear the room.
Go back to the hunting gallery. Examine the rightmost
column for a song. Return to the piano lounge and put the
three keys on the piano. Play the song you just learned for
a bear claw. This clears the area.
Return to the hunting gallery. Use all the bear claws on
the bear to clean up the room.
Find the two mirror pieces. You now have a full set, so go
back to the reflection hall and free the maid. She gives
you a piece for the hunting gallery. Return there, then use
all your various weapons on the gun rack to open the way to
the tea room.
003c. The Nanny
-----------------------------------------------------------
Tea Room
--------
Just like in the grand hall, you need to zoom in on the
paintings here and click on all the evil items painted on
them. Solve the hidden objects challenge for items, then
pick up the two mirror shards in the room. Use the rock
ability on the plate for a third mirror shard.
This room needs to have its gramophone fixed, which you
will do later. Go right to a hallway.
Hallway
-------
Use the rock ability to get a mirror piece. The hallway is
now clear. Go left for the grand library or right for the
crown jewels.
Grand Library
-------------
Examine the top of the staircase to see a fire that needs
to be put out. Examine the bottom of the staircase for a
hidden objects challenge. You then get the potion challenge
of combining colors. This time, your solution is orange,
purple, green and blue. Use the potion on the fire to put
it out.
Pick up the three mirror shards in this room, then use the
rock ability on the vase to get a new ability: fire.
The exit to the room is currently blocked, and the other
item in this room needs a song. Leave the library and go to
the crown jewels.
Crown Jewels
------------
The ghosts here dislike fire, so use your new fire ability
to kill them.
Pick up the three mirror shards and the paper in this room.
You can also pick up the wind ability for your fairy. Use
the wind on the crown here to see three symbols. Then,
examine the grate on the left side of the room. Select the
three symbols which were on the crown for a hidden objects
challenge. Solve the challenge for items.
You should have all the mirror shards by now, so put them
together in the reflecting hall to free the nanny. She
mentions that the witch attacked around 1:00.
Return to the library. You can now answer the questions of
the statue. The answers are peacock, five, Jupiter and
1:00.
003d. The Cook
-----------------------------------------------------------
Kitchen
-------
Look at the book on the table. Flip the page and rip out of
the recipe for ghost gruel. Zoom in on the hidden objects
challenge (between the two exit doors) and use the recipe
on it. Find all the objects and do the potion-making
challenge for the food. Use the food on the table to clean
the room.
Use the rock ability on both chandeliers and the bottle for
three mirror shards. Take a piece of paper from the right,
then finish the room by solving the hidden objects
challenge on the right.
Backtracking
------------
Return to the tea room. You now have all the items need to
fix the gramophone. Do this, and you finish the room. You
also get a song. Return to the library and play the song on
the globe. You get an axe, and a small card by the globe.
Go back to the kitchen. The right exit is the green house,
while the left exit is the cellar.
Green House
-----------
There is a large fly trap monster here! Examine the table
on the right for flies. Find some, then use them on the
monster to distract it. Use the fire ability on the monster
to kill it. You will have to distract the monster, then hit
it with fire, three times.
When the monster is dead, you can pick up the final fairy
ability: water. Use it to water the four plants here for
two mirror shards and two items. Pick up two additional
mirror shards, and a piece of paper, to clear the room.
Cellar
------
Examine the wine bottles. You can weigh them. Figure out
which bottle is heavier than the others, to clear the room.
When the room is clean, pick up the three mirror pieces.
You now have enough mirror pieces to free the cook.
The cook gives you a knob for the cellar's door lock. Go
back to the cellar, and use the knobs on the exit door. You
want to spin the numbers around to look like this:

Before leaving, examine the keg. Use the valve handle on it
for a rag.
003e. The Gardener
-----------------------------------------------------------
Stables
-------
Pick up the four mirror pieces and the note. There are also
two cards you can pick up. Examine the stable on the right
for a puzzle. This is a slider puzzle; move the pieces
around so the white horse can reach the exit on the left.
Solving the horse puzzle cleans the room, and you can solve
a hidden objects challenge. Solve it to clear the area. Go
forward to the next one.
Garden Walkway
--------------
Get the three mirror pieces, then look at the walkway for a
puzzle. Guide the block to the right side of the area to
clear the walkway. That lets you go forward.
Garden Fountain
---------------
Examine the left part of the rock wall. Use the fairy's
rock ability to reveal ten items here. Then, look at the
area under the bridge. Find all the items for a potion that
is made with green, orange, orange, blue and purple.
Put the potion on the rock wall to clean the area. Look at
the fountain for a pipe puzzle. Rotate all the pipes so
they are connected. This gives you a calendar piece.
Find the three mirror pieces here to clear the area. You
can now save the gardener! He says the date to the second
floor is November 18th.
Return to the grand hall. Look at the doorway to the second
floor. Use both calendar pieces on the lock, then set it to
11/18. This opens the door, so you can explore the second
floor!
003f. The Queen
-----------------------------------------------------------
East Art Gallery
----------------
Use the fairy's rock ability on the vase in the lower/left
for a mirror piece. Pick up a card above the doorway to the
right. That is all you can do for now.
There are two exits. One on the right leads to the dance
hall, while the bottom of the screen leads to the West Art
Gallery.
West Art Gallery
----------------
Pick up the two mirror shards here.
Dance Hall
----------
There are ghosts here. Examine the piano in the lower/left.
Put the three piano strings on the piano to fix it. You
don't know what song to play yet.
Use the fairy's rock ability on both bottles to break them,
in order to get two mirror shards. Leave through the exit
to this room.
Balcony
-------
Use the fairy's water ability on the two plants here for a
mirror shard and a berry. Take the note on the railing, and
take a mirror shard from the lamp.
Look through the telescope to see some birds. Use the berry
on the birds to get a song. This clears the area. Go back
to the dance hall and play that song on the piano. That
cleans the room. Solve a hidden objects challenge under the
piano to finish the room.
Art Gallery
-----------
There are four paintings on the wall in the West Art
Gallery. You want to recreate the paintings on the puzzle,
which blocks the door in the East Art Gallery. That cleans
up the area.
In the West Art Gallery, look at the locked door for a
puzzle. Move the pieces around so adjacent numbers are
matching. Solving the puzzle unlocks a hallway door.
Hallway
-------
Pick up two mirror shards and a card to clear the area. Go
left to the dining room.
Dining Room
-----------
Look at the fireplace to see a pot that needs a potion.
Look in the lower/left area for a hidden objects challenge.
The potion is purple, blue, orange and green. Use it on the
fireplace to clean the room.
Examine the candelabra on the table for a puzzle. Click on
a candle to light it. If you light a candle, it might cause
other candles to be affected. Solve the puzzle to get a
marble.
Pick up a mirror shard, then use the fairy's rock ability
on a bottle to break it. Examine the painting above the
fireplace and restore it to normal by turning the four
wheels. Solving the puzzle gives you the final mirror shard
and clears the room.
Go back to the Hall of Reflection and use the mirror pieces
to save the queen. She reveals that the villain in this
game is your older sister, Rose. Rose grew up to be nasty,
so she was exiled along with her nanny once Princess
Isabella was born.
The nanny became a witch, and she has led Rose back here to
get revenge.
The Queen gives you a dog toy. Return to the East Art
Gallery and look at the locked door. Use the dog bone and
the dog ball on the door to open it.
003g. The King
-----------------------------------------------------------
Hallway
-------
There is nothing we can do here now, since the door to the
powder room is locked, so go left to the armored hallway.
Armored Hallway
---------------
Pick up a card and two mirror shards. Use the fairy's rock
ability on the vase for a third mirror shard. Go forward to
the Royal Bedroom.
Royal Bedroom
-------------
Get the two mirror shards, then look under the bed. Use the
fairy's rock ability to smash the evil bugs. This cleans
the room.
Look at the trunk that is at the base of the bed. Zoom in
on the lock for a puzzle. Click on a piece to rotate it;
rotate all the pieces so they connect and form a design.
This results in a hidden objects challenge. Find all the
objects to clear the room and get a crossbow.
Go to the Armored Hallway. Use the crossbow on the spirits
on the painting, in order to clean the room. Solve a hidden
objects challenge at the far end of the room, and examine a
suit of armor on the left. Use the oil on it, so you can
get the clock face from inside.
With the Armored Hallway cleaned, you can access the powder
room.
Powder Room
-----------
Take the two mirror shards, then examine the large mirror
in this room. Use the cleaning rag all over the mirror to
clean the room.
Under the large mirror is a clock on a dresser. Do the
hidden objects challenge on the dresser. Then, look at the
clock. Put all the clock pieces on the clock to get a key
and clear the room.
Return to the dining room. Go right to enter a hallway.
Hallway
-------
Use your new blue key on the locked door. This is a puzzle.
Clear all the locks from the board. The trick is that if
you click on a spot, all the adjacent spots will flip.
Study
-----
Get the two mirror shards and the final note. Use the rock
ability on the ship above the bookcase for another mirror
shard.
You must solve the hidden objects challenge on the bookcase
for a painting piece. Use it on the painting here and swap
tiles until the painting has been reconstructed. This
cleans the room.
Examine the bookcase and read a book to learn about Spain
and Portugal. Examine the globe in this room and turn it so
the red spot is above the Spain/Portugal border. You get a
red key as a reward.
Go back to the powder room. Use the red key on the door in
the lower/right. Again, you have a puzzle where you must
remove the locks from the door. Solve it to open the
entrance to the dressing room.
Dressing Room
-------------
Take the two mirror shards here. Examine the window. Use
the fly net to catch the flies here. You need to move the
net left and right to get them all. Examine the vase near
the corner. Put the flies in the vase, then use the fairy's
fire ability to burn them. This cleans the room.
Examine the dress on the left. Undo the buttons, by pulling
each button down, then up through the hole. Undo the
buttons from top to bottom. Undoing all the buttons reveals
a marble and finishes this room.
Go through the door at the end to reach your bedroom.
Your Bedroom
------------
Look under your bed for a hidden objects challenge. This
gives you a potion, which is made with orange, green, blue,
white, purple. Use the potion on the fireplace to clean the
room.
Take the two mirror shards, then solve the hidden objects
challenge in the closet for a ballerina. Look at the music
box above the fireplace. Click on it to open it, then put
the ballerina in place. Turn the crank clockwise a few
times, and the music box plays.
You get the final mirror shard at this point. Return to the
hall of reflection and save the king! Solve the jigsaw
puzzle on his mirror, and he gives you a marble.
Hallway
-------
The hallway outside the hall of reflection is the only
place you have not cleared. Use the marbles on the darkened
dresser here. This starts a puzzle, where you must shoot
marbles out of the ring. You can only knock marbles out, if
they are part of a group of three, which is the same color
as the eye.
Solving the puzzle unlocks the door.
Witch's Lair
------------
The prince is being held hostage here, and you need to save
him!
There are items listed at the bottom of the screen. Find
them all as quickly as possible! If you find all the items,
the witch's health meter goes down by one-fourth.
Solve the hidden objects challenge four times, in order to
win! Note that the witch is also doing the hidden objects
challenge, so if she solves four rounds before you do, you
will lose.
When you beat the witch, the game ends, and you see a scene
where Rose and Isabella are reunited before the wedding.
