There are 167 character tokens to collect in Lego Harry Potter. There are
72 character tokens in the Story Mode, 92 character tokens in Hogwarts/
Diagon Alley, and the three characters you start the game with (Harry,
Hermione, and Ron). A majority of the character tokens in the Story
Levels are only accessible in the Free play Mode.
It also helps to find the Red Brick (Character Token Detector) to help
find all of the characters. When you find and activate it (purachse and
turn it on), a white arrow will appear for each character. If you
enter a room and there is a white arrow, then that means there is a
character in the room.
HOW TO READ THIS GUIDE:
I have broken the guide into an easy to read format. Next to each
character is the spell/skill/character required to find the character
token and whether the token is available in Free Play or Story Mode. If
there is no spell/skill/character provided, it means that you can easily
find the character token in the Story Mode.

*You will have to first use Reducto on the basket behind
the giant snowball. Then head towards the left where you
will find a wizard with a character token in his hand.
When you hit him with any spell he will run to the right
side of the screen. Hit him with another spell and he
will run next to the basket behind the giant snowball.
Use Wingardium Leviosa on the basket and the wizard will
drop the character token.
