-----------------------------
Game specifics
-----------------------------
Godzilla: Unleashed have been published by Atari and developed by
Pipeworks. Released November 20 for Playstation 2 and December 5 for
the Wii, this game makes you able to play has 25 monsters. You can play
at 4 players, and the screen resolution of this game is 480p (16:9
widescreen).

Here the basic controls of the game:
A Button: Punch (swing Wii Remote in a direction for additional
attacks)
B Button: Kick (swing Wii Remote in a direction for additional attacks)
A + B Buttons: Fierce Attack (swing Wii Remote in a direction for
additional attacks)
C Button: Hold to release projectile or charge if energy is depleted
C + Z Buttons: Hold to charge energy, even if not depleted
Z Button: Block, swing Wii Remote to Parry
Z Button + Shake Nunchuk: Rush
Shake Nunchuk: Jump
Shake Nunchuk while moving: Leap
Shake Wii Remote and Nunchuk: Grab
1 Button: Activate Power Surge, press again when surge is about to
diminish to release a shockwave
2 Button: Taunt.

Game dynamics:
Health Cells: Characters start out with four through six health cells,
each of which represents a full bar of health. After depleting the bar,
someone will have to perform an attack capable of knocking someone down
in order to remove one of the health cells.
Regeneration: A character's health bar will slowly regenerate overtime
during a match. There are moments, though, when it will stop
regenerating. These instances include: when a player is using C to
charge their energy, while their beam is locked with another monster's,
burrowing, in the middle of a grapple attack or while they are knocked
on the ground.

Energy Cells: All players have four energy cells, and will start with
two of them at the beginning of each match or after respawning. If a
monster begins to fire its beam, regardless of how long they keep up
the blast, it will deplete at least one energy cell. Unlike previous
games, energy no longer refills automatically over time.

Locking Beams: When two monsters have their beams lock, they will have
to bounce the charge back and forth in order to avoid being struck by a
residual blast. This is done by shacking the Wii Remote like a racket
to volley the "surge" until it ends up striking one of the players and
exploding. It should be noted that if the beams lock too close to each
other then they will immediately detonate and injure both monsters.

Rush: When a character rushes, it greatly increases its movement. This
also has the side effect of being able to knock down smaller buildings,
which will fly up and have a chance to smack nearby monsters, and to
destroy Health or Energy crystals that might be in the path. If the
rushing character should collide with another, it will damage them
slightly, although can't remove a health cell.

Info on Critical Mass:
After damaging or destroying enough crystals to fill up the meter, the
monster will go into Critical Mass mode. This will cause the monster's
body to be bathed in flames before they increase in size and a charcoal
red design covers their exterior. While in this mode, the monster's
damage and knock back abilities will be increased, although at the cost
of reduced defenses. While in Critical Mass, the meter will slowly
deplete, although will also fill back up again with successive hits.
When the meter is empty, the monster will return to its normal state.
Being frozen also will end Critical Mass mode. When a monster ends its
Critical Mass cycle it will lose a health cell, unless it was frozen.
It should be mentioned that all crystals help to build Critical Mass,
including the "normal" teal ones, the health/energy crystals and the
ones SpaceGodzilla can erect in the ground.

Anguirus

---Game Description---
Anguirus is a loyal Earth Defender. Although he is not the largest,
strongest, or fastest of Earth’s vanguard, he possesses a tenacity of
spirit that makes him a fearsome opponent for any monster. Anguirus can
stun nearby opponents with his fearsome Sonic Roar, or use his powerful
jaws to leave an impression. Anguirus’s most unique attribute is his
ultra-hard spiked carapace, which can parry any physical attack and
inflict heavy edged damage in response. Anguirus can tuck his head and
limbs beneath his shell and roll forward - this offers him excellent
resistance to attack and allows him to plow through terrain and
opponents alike.

When the Earth is threatened, Godzilla will come to its defense - and
Anguirus will be right beside him, until the end.

---Health, abilities---
Attack: 4/8
Defense: 8/8
Speed: 5/8
Weapon: 2/8

Anguirus got 5/6 health cells.

---Controls---
Claw Uppercut (A) [Can't Knockdown]
Anguirus lowers his hands and then raises them, claws outstretched.
Punch (A) [Can't Knockdown]
Anguirus punches out with one of his fists. Tap A again to do another
strike quickly. This move replaces the Claw Uppercut when the spiked
quadruped is standing on its hind legs.
Forefoot Stomp (A and Swing Down)
The monster does a small jump into the air and then slams down with its
fists.
Bone Uppercut (A and Swing Up)
Anguirus swings up with his head to attack.
Sucker Punch (A and Swing Left)
The monster joins his two hands together and swings diagonally to
strike.
Punch Slugger (A and Swing Right)
Anguirus spins and then swipes with his clawed hands.
Pulverizing Shell (A and Swing in enemy's direction while opponent is
behind)
Anguirus leaps in his opponent's direction to strike them with his
spiked carapace. If the monster should miss with this attack, there
will be a long delay before he can get up again.
Bite (B) [Can't Knockdown]
The spiked quadruped lashes out with his jaws in a move that hits very
low to the ground.
Kick (B) [Can't Knockdown]
Anguirus performs a standard kick attack. This move replaces Bite when
the spiked quadruped is standing on its hind legs.
Drop Bite (B and Swing Down)
Anguirus attempts to bite the opponent with his jaws twice. If done
repeatedly, the monster will continue to try and bite down on its foe.
Mule Kick (B and Swing Up)
The spiked quadruped quickly turns around and then kicks backwards.
Double Kick (B and Swing Left)
Anguirus leaps into the air with its feet extended to strike.
Drop Kick (B and Swing Right)
The monster jumps with its feet out to kick the opponent. This move is
similar to his Double Kick, except that his shell is facing down in
this instance.
Tail Spin (A+B and Swing Down)
The spiked quadruped rolls into a ball and quickly spins as it's tail
gradually extends to attack. Despite appearances, this move can only
hit a target once, but has very generous range.
Tail Flip (A+B and Swing Up)
Anguirus does a flip into the air and then slams down with its tail.
Tail Smack (A+B and Swing Left/Right)
Anguirus slowly rotates its body to attack as it lashes out with its
tail. This move can land two successful blows.
Tail Smash (A+B and Swing in any direction while opponent is behind)
Anguirus violently slams its tail down like a hammer.
Roar (Hold C - Requires Energy) [Can't Knockdown]
The monster roars at his opponent. Unlike other characters, this roar
can not "lock beams" with other projectiles. This attack will also
briefly stop after each energy cell is depleted.
Shell Drop (Grapple Attack)
Anguirus places his adversary on his shell and then jumps, bucking them
into the sky. The spiked quadruped then spins as they fall back onto
the shell and he digs his spikes into them before they fall off.

Baragon
---Game description---
Baragon is an Earth Defender guardian - with special affinity for the
terrestrial crust we walk upon. Baragon’s size makes him a tremendous
leaper, with graceful aerial combat maneuvers and techniques. When not
in the air, Baragon constantly replenishes his energy so long as
contact is maintained with the earth. Baragon emits streams of fire
from his mouth, and cause eruptions and earthquakes beneath his feet.
When firmly planted with all four legs upon the ground, Baragon is
almost impossible to push with all aside - despite his small stature.

---Health, abilities---

Speed: 7/8
Weapon: 2/8

Baragon have 4 of 6 health cells

Biollante
(Biollante is a pretty loved monster)
---Game description---

Biollante is a terrifying example of mankind’s ability to unleash
horrors around the world. The result of anti-monster mutagen
experiments gone horribly awry; Biollante is a patchwork mix of human,
plant, and monster DNA. Biollante’s sheer height and mass make her the
largest know monster by a good margin, and if it were not for her
limited mobility there is little doubt that she would have established
herself already as Earth’s most powerful monster. As a mutant,
Biollante holds no special allegiance toward any of her genetic kindred
- tough she does seem to harbor special animosity towards Godzilla.
Biollante’s quick extending vines and corrosive poison spray make her a
threat at range, while her massive jaws and incredible strength make
her deadly up close.

---Health, abilities---
Biollante have 6/6 energu cells.

Strenght: 8/8
Defense: 5/8
Speed: 1/8
Weapon: 3/8
---Controls---
Vine Jab (A) [Can't Knockdown]
Biollante first attacks with her two vines on the right. If A is
pressed again quickly she will then attack with the two on the left.
Due to the massive size of the creature, there is a large distance
between the two attacks in terms of hit area, which can be an advantage
or disadvantage depending on the situation.
Burrowing Vines (A and Swing Down)
Four of Biollante's vines burrow underground before raising up to
attack and finally snapping above the monster's head. The attack area
is like a giant x around Biollante, meaning this move is optimal for
multiple targets that are both behind and in front of the creature.
Vine Sky Slap (A and Swing Up)
Four of the vines lunge forward and strike upward at any targets that
might be in front of Biollante.
Heavy Vine Slap (A and Swing Left)
Biollante swipes with two of her vines that are on the same side of her
body.
Vine Twist (A and Swing Right)
All of the vines around Biollante extend and begin to shake, damaging
anyone who should come in contact with them.
Snap (B) [Can't Knockdown]
Biollante bites down with its giant head.
Head Slam (B and Swing Down)
Biollante opens its jaws all the way and viciously slams its open maw
into the ground.
Snap Up (B and Swing Up)
Biollante reels its head back to do a powerful overhead strike.
Mega Bite (B and Swing Left)
Biollante opens its jaws and tilts its head at an angle before
thrusting its head and biting.
Stalk Swing (B and Swing Right)
Biollante raises its head as its mouth opens as it swings it head to
make a horizontal strike in front of it.
Vine Assault (A+B and Swing Down)
The two back vines rear up and strike in the distance in front of
Biollante. The important thing to note about this move is that this
attack can be chained with other A or B moves, meaning that the back
vines can be attacking while Biollante is performing a different
strike.
Vine Crack (A+B and Swing Up)
The two back vines raise and crack above Biollante's head to attack.
This move can be chained with other A or B moves.
Vine Cross (A+B and Swing Left/Right)
The two back vines lunge forward and cross as they strike anyone ahead
of Biollante. This move will probably be the standard attack of many
players given its excellent reach, and that it can be chained with
other A or B moves.
Radioactive Sap Spray (Hold C - Requires Energy)
Biollante unleashes a blast of her acidic spray, coating any targets in
the sap's path.
Vine Crawl (Shake Nunchuk while moving)
This move replaces her jump as long as Biollante is moving, and sees
the monster use its vines to speed up its advance.
All-Out Assault (Grapple Attack)
Biollante bites into her opponent, slipping them into her mouth. Once
clenched between her jaws, she tosses them into the air where her vines
quickly leap out and strike them before they begin to fall. As a final
strike, Biollante lifts her head and uses it to slam her enemy into the
ground. Unfortunately, this whole assault is fairly long, and leaves
Biollante open to attack from other opponents for quite awhile.
Underground Movement (A+B+C+Z)
Biollante disappears underground and then quickly reappears a short
distance ahead of where she was looking. This move should be used
primarily for faster movement and for avoiding attacks. Unlike
burrowing, this is done automatically and very quickly, working almost
like a teleport move.

---Resist, weak vs. and special attribute---
Weak vs.
Edged, Explosive, Heat,
Resists
Blunt, Concussive, Nuclear, Poison
Special Attributes
Grapple attacks won't work against Biollante with the exception of King
Caesar's.

---How to unlock---
Requirements: Using the Earth Defenders, play the "Rumble in the Surf"
at Tokyo. In the arena, there should be a building with a glowing green
base and vines wrapped around it. Destroy this structure to have
Biollante briefly emerge and then disappear. After beating this level,
select the stage "Biollante" at Tokyo next, and beat the genetic
monster to be able to purchase her at the shop.
Price: 30,000
That’s should be all for Biollante.

Destoroyah
---Game description---
Destoroyah is a death incarnate. Born from anaerobic environments
deadly to all other life, Destoroyah seeks nothing less than the total
annihilation of all life forms and existence. Although his massive claw
hands, and taloned feet can tear monsters apart in a heartbeat,
Destoroyah tends to use ranged attacks to compensate for his sluggish
land movement. He can breathe choking clouds of micro-oxygen, emit
explosive spheres of micro-oxygen, and create oxygen destroyer comets
of pure annihilation. His most fearsome attack, however, is the
piercing Horn Katana which extends from his central horn. This focused
energy can slice through even the strongest monster flesh and reduces
buildings to rubble.
---Health, abilities---
Destoroyah have 5/6 health cells.
Attack: 6/8
Defense: 5/8
Speed: 2/8
Weapon: 8/8
---Controls---

of its feet.
Merciless Kick (B and Swing Right)
Destoroyah performs a slow but powerful kick.

Destoroyah slices down with his laser horn. This move deals a lot of
damage and is optimal for finishing off fallen opponents.
Horn Ascent (A+B and Swing Up)
Destoroyah lowers his laser horn to the ground and then slices up.
Horn Sweep (A+B and Swing Left/Right)
The creature does a low sweeping strike with its laser horn. This
attack works well to knock foes onto the ground, and then to follow up
with a Horn Descent before they get up.
Micro Oxygen Spray (Hold C - Requires Energy) [Can't Knockdown]
Destoroyah releases its deadly oral weapon.
Oxygen Absorber Mines (Tap C - Requires 1 Energy) [Can't Knockdown]
Destoroyah releases a blast of energy which will draw nearby monsters
and then detonate.
Horn Skewer (Grapple Attack)
Destoroyah stabs his foe with his horn and then uses his tail to
dislodge them before tossing them away.
Oxygen Destroyer (A+B+C+Z - Requires 4 Energy)
The monster releases a concentrated orb into the sky, which eventually
rains down on one of Destoroyah's opponents. This move deals a massive
amount of damage, capable of knocking off an entire health cell.

Fire Rodan
---Game description---
Fire Rodan is Earth’s largest flier. His element is the air, the
clouds, and the wind-swept mountain peaks that scrape against them.
Nesting in the tops of active volcanoes, Fire Rodan is virtually immune
to heat and lava-based attacks. Rodan is the fastest of all Kaiju while
in the air, and prefers to confront challenges from a lofty height. His
great speed also makes him a fierce and-to-hand combatant, with savage
claws, talon, and beak attacks. Fire Rodan defends the Earth’s
atmosphere - eliminating all airborne threats to the planet’s well-
being.
---Health, abilities---
Attack: 3/8
Defense: 2/8
Speed: 8/8

Fly Loop (A+B and Swing Up)
The monster does a big loop into the air before flying straight to try
and knockdown his rival.

Fly Spiral (A+B and Swing Left/Right)
Rodan flies straight while rotating his body like a drill to attack.

Uranium Heat Beam (Hold C - Requires Energy) [Can't Knockdown]
Rodan unleashes his heat beam from his mouth.

Wind Blast (Tap C) [Can't Knockdown]
The giant pteranodon uses its wings to create a gust of wind that it
directs at the opponent. This move will push back the target on impact,
but will deal no damage.

Flight (Hold Z while in the air)
While in the air, Rodan can use its wings to maintain his current
altitude. The creature can still attack while in flight.

Soar (Hold Z and Shake Nunchuk)
This replaces the character's normal rush move, as instead of running
Rodan will quickly fly into the air. This move can be done at any time,
including while jumping, falling or flying. If any small buildings or
crystals are in the way, they will be destroyed, while opponents will
be knocked back and slightly injured if they should come into contact
with Rodan as he is ascending. It should be noted that while soaring
Rodan can still use his Uranium Heat Beam, making him the only
character in the game able to "rush" and use their projectile.

Loop Slam (Grapple Attack)
Rodan grabs onto his opponent and does a huge loop with them into the
sky before slamming them back down into the earth.

Godzilla 2000
---Game description---
Godzilla is the most powerful of Earth’s Defenders. Godzilla lives
beneath the ocean waves, sumbering until he is called upon to face some
fearsome threat. Although he has defended the Earth from aliens,
mutants, and other external threats, Godzilla has never included
“humans” in the list of things he deliberately protects. To the
contrary, it is often human folly that arouses Godzilla’s ire. Because
of this fact, the Global Defense Force considers Godzilla to be an
extremely dangerous potential adversary. Godzilla uses his atomic fire
to destroy most threats from a distance, but has proved to be a
fearsome hand-to-hand combatant, especially when he can bring his
powerful tail into play. Godzilla’s most mysterious ability may be his
uncanny sixth sense, which always gives him time to travel to exactly
where he needs to be.
