Note: I expect the reader to be familiar with the game. He/She should
have enough knowledge to be able to perform the strategies listed
that follow this passage. If you don't know what different levels
there are to the Axe/Sword, then you should go read up and find out.

I took the robot on with the sword at a higher power level. The robot
has two main ways of attacking. He'll just walk around at a rather high
speed and will be able to trample right over you. The two types of
attacking he has it kicking and jumping. He'll jump after you hit him, and
he'll kick if you don't hit him quick enough.
To get rid of him, just jump in and hit him, drop down beside him so when
he jumps, it's over you. that's all you need to do. He won't be able to
kick at you if you hit him quick enough. The Robot is the first boss in the
game, therefore he'll be the easiest.
After around ten hits, he goes down for good.

The head is a rather strange boss to say the least. He looks like a
big, brown turd that jumps around and flies across the screen. You're not
here for crap clean up, so you'll have to take him out by any means
necessary. Make sure you have the axe at a very high level before this
battle; he dies a lot faster if you do.
He'll come from the left side of the screen and start to bounce. Simply
position yourself under him so he'll skip you. If you want, when he's in
midair, just go ahead and walk under him. Start hitting him any chance
that you can get, since every hit counts. After he's done bouncing around
like a fart on a hot tin roof, he'll just go ahead and disappear off the
side of the screen.
Don't get excited, he'll come right back in a matter of seconds. He'll
slide across the bottom of the screen next. You'll have to jump over him.
This is the perfect time to lay in some shots that'll weaken him down.
Once he starts to get weak, he'll start to change color. Keep the pressure
on, he'll repeat the same tactics over again. (Jumping, then sliding.)
He'll die pretty soon. It'll take around five hits with the axe.

When you first see this boss, you'll probably wonder "What the hell, this
isn't really a boss is it?" Well, yes it is a boss, and he's a very easy
one at that. In fact, he's a complete joke with the chain whip on your side.
The goblin has a huge ball (easily 5 times his size) that he drags behind
him during the whole battle. If you get too close, he'll swing the thing
at you. If the ball hits you, just like if any other giant, two-ton ball
hit you in real life, you'll lose life. Keep your distance and nail him
over and over again with the chain whip until the goblin begins to change
color to purple. Nothing will change when he changes this color, it just
tells you that he's almost dead.
Once he died, he'll explode and there will nothing left but his ball. The
ball decides to stop being on a leash (cheesy pun) and get a mind of its
own. Therefore he just starts bouncing around like a fool. All the bosses
in the game, so far, always resort to just jumping up and down somewhere in
their repertoire of moves. With the chain whip, however, you'll be able
to hit the ball at an angel. Keep hitting the thing and dodging its bouncing
techniques until he turns red and gets weak. Then just keep it up no matter
what to finish him off.

For anyone that's ever seen this boss, they can back me up on the fact
these things look just like Hiliary Clinton in all aspects. They have
the fat cheeks, etc. Anyway, what Hiliary Clinton dolls will start as one
but will spread out into around a total of 30 throughout the battle.
They'll start floating around at the top of the screen. It'll only take
one hit to make the things come plummeting down to the ground. Once they
hit the ground, they'll turn into a regular enemy that you've already
face in the game. Sometimes there will be three to four regular enemies
at the bottom of the screen you'll have to deal with, along with the
Hilary Clinton Dolls at the top. You won't die, just keep killing every
thing with the sword.
The reason I picked the sword of the axe here is because of the reach.
You'll want to take out as many of these dolls at you can, since they only
take a few hits to kill. The axe would be too slow and its reach is way
to sad to do any good. The chain is way too weak to do anything. Go the
sword!

The double-headed worm is probably the oddest boss in the whole game. It's
like pink, and its composed of individual ball-like sections. Plus, there's
some nice boss music to go along with the battle.
The worm will begin the battle by flying overhead. Take full advantage of
this and smash the right and left side with the axe. He'll make his way
across the screen until he disappears. He'll then come from the right
side of the screen postured up, ready to kick your ass. Get your hits in
on him, since it doesn't take that many to kill him.
When his mouth opens, prepare for one of three different types of attacks.
One, he'll bite at you, which is easily avoided by the fact that you can
just jump and he'll miss. Two, he'll spit a spread shot at you, which
is a lot harder to dodge, since there's not much room to work with there.
Third and final is he'll spit three shots at you. These are easy to dodge
and should pose no problem.
During his down time, nail him with the axe as much as you can. Sometimes
, however, he'll get smart and move away so your attack will miss. Once
the boss dies, the usual happens: Flashing will occur that'll educed
epileptic seizures.

The Golem Machine looks all tough because he's made of steel, but the
steel is just covering up the inner-wuss. Golem only has two moves
that he'll use frequently. One is where he drops a bunch of bombs or
mini-landmines across the floor. You can always throw a star bomb to get
rid of all of these if you wish, or just hack away at them. While you're
busy with them, the Golem will then fire out a laser spear at you in an
attempt to do even more damage. Golem utilizes devious tactics to get the
job done, you just have to be more sneaky.
Cut the crap, go up to him and just start pounding. He's not of an
intimidating size and his body isn't big enough to where he can swing it
around and do damage to you. In fact, in the next level, he's nothing more
than a regular enemy.
He'll turn light red when he's about to die. This means keep laying it to
him with the axe. The axe is the best weapon for this head-on battles. It
can really lay the smackdown super fast to anything that gets in your way.
If you happened to get stuck with the sword, you'll be able to swipe away
at all those little bombs before they become a problem. Then just hack
away at him like with the axe. It'll take longer, though, since the sword
is the middle weapon in the game.

Sitting on top of his throne, the malevolent evil will lower himself and
initiate battle with you. This guy is a complete joke. He's a human that
has a crown on and a sword that's smaller than yours. First things first:
He likes to throw bombs and a lot of them. To counter this, simply throw
one of your bombs, or swipe it with the sword (see why it's recommended
now?) Keep the pressure on him and he'll fall in a matter of seconds.
An easier way to beating him is to just go into the left hand corner and
start swiping at him with the sword. His star bombs will go right off
the screen everytime (Contributed by Masters, again)
If a bomb managed to hit you, you'll take 1 damage, which isn't really
a lot compared what other damage can be dealt out in the game. Once
he dies, he'll being to glow. You and I both know this garbage isn't over
yet. Prepare for...

Ok, this guy will kick your ass. He's by far one of the hardest bosses
in old school history. The Prince will rise up and invoke a type of power
into himself. Then you'll see this huge, celestial body come from the
heavens and begin to merge with him. This is were it all goes bad.
Since, admittedly, I had no gosh darn idea where to begin with this boss, I
had to ask the local review contributor Masters in an IM. He said:
After he forms into something nasty in the middle, hack him on his leg as
much as possible (maybe 3 times) then run to the left. Jump on the platform
and wait. When he comes close, star bomb him and jump on his head. Hold to
the right while slashing and you'll bounce to the other side. Turn and
slash his leg 2 times and run to the right. Jump on the platform and wait.
Star bomb him, jump over, repeat.
That's it, you've killed the final boss of the game. Now you get to see
the ending, which is self-explanatory, since it's an old school game.
