The controls for this game are very simple, and are as follows:
dpad - Move.
I - Attack.
II - Jump.
Run - Pause.

(C-01) ROUND 01
###############################################################################

Part 01 - Waterfall
-------------------
The butterflies, flowers and coconuts in the air are good for points. Jump
right to the waterfall and press "up" to start swimming in it, then press "I"
rapidly to swim to the top. Don't stand on top for too long or you'll fall
back down. Swim up another waterfall on your left and head butt the flower on
your left to turn it blue. Butt it again or jump on it for a 1up, then butt
the other flower to turn it yellow.
Bounce off this flower to find a bonus flower on your left. Touch it to try
the flower bounce bonus game where you bounce right across flowers and collect
fruit.
Attack the enemy at the bottom of the right waterfall when you return by either
butting him, or jumping into the air and pressing "II" to land on him with your
head. Swim up this waterfall and one more before attacking an enemy on your
left. Butt the flower to bounce up to some smiles, then attack more enemies on
your right. Swim up another waterfall and go all the way left past the
boulders. Swim up to the top and jump over the boulders to reach the next part
of the round.

Part 02 - Flower Field
----------------------
Bounce right [you can glide by pressing "II" rapidly in the air] and attack the
net enemy [jump his net]. Bounce across more flowers and make sure you hit the
orange one for some small meat. Kill a pair of enemies and butt the flower,
then bounce into the clouds above for a smile and bonus flower. [if you missed
the small meat earlier you can butt a flower up ahead for a flying flower].
The slip zone bonus game has you jumping across icy ledges. Keep right after
the bonus to land by a fishing enemy [If you came from below then you can eat
his fish or jump up the wall]. Butt the next flower for more small meat, then
bounce across the enemies to reach a boss.

Boss: Fire Dinosaur
-------------------
This guy hops towards you and shoots fire when he gets close. You want to jump
towards his rider and bounce with your head. After 3 such hits, you're onto
the next part of this round.

Part 03 - Caverns
-----------------
Butt the flower on your right and make a choice. If you want the easy route
you can bounce and glide right to the upper path, or you can take the lower
one.
Watch for the yellow signs on either route that indicate a boulder is coming.
In the upper path you want to jump behind the second pillar for some big meat
[ you can also stomp some rocks below you for a 1up at one point if you want].
Jump more boulders and stomp the flying enemies as you take some smiles.
If you took the lower path, then you get to jump a sinking bone and watch for
deadly drips above before butting some rocks. Butt the flower as you come to
it for some small meat, then stomp the second green ledge between the bones for
a bonus flower to the slip zone bonus game.
Bounce on the flying enemies or jump to hit them from below, but don't spin
sideways into them. Take the big heart at the end of either path to reach the
next part of this round.

Part 04 - Volcano Castle
------------------------
Pound the ground under the sign and ignore the flower for now. Pound the rocks
below you and head left for the eruption bonus game [where you dodge fireballs
and collect items while avoiding the pits] and right for the piranha lift bonus
game [where you let piranhas bite your body while jumping and climbing walls].
Jump right after to bounce back up and use the flower to get a flying flower.
Fly up through the rocks and right across the grey clouds for 4 smiles, then
fly to the cave leap bonus game up here [where you spin and go back and forth
getting 4-5 items per pass]. Take the smile on the ground on your left and use
the rising rocks under the bridge to reach the bonus game if you didn't fly
there before.
Cross the bridge while dodging fireballs and follow the trail of food down,
then ride the third/right rock up to a smile on your left and a spring enemy.
Go right for a heart/1up and try not to land on the flower just yet. Go left
instead for a smile, then pound the rocks below and head right for another
smile.
Bounce back up and hit the flower for some meat and go right across the
platforms. Dodge the fireballs and enter the capsule to reach the boss.

Boss: Dodogie
-------------
This guy shoot 6 fireballs from his back for you to dodge, then starts to rise
up out of the lava. You want to doge the fireballs from either platform and
jump on his back as he rises. Now you can bounce on his head about five times
and repeat for about 10 hits.

Bonus Elevator
--------------
After every round you go up a bonus elevator that takes you to different floors
depending on how many smiles you found. Each floor has people cheering you on
and giving you items as you pass them. The following is what items you get on
each floor.
00 - Nothing.
10 - 1 heart, 1 small meat.
20 - 3 hearts, 1up.
30 - 3 hearts, 1 blue heart (!).
50 - 5 hearts, 1 blue heart (!), 1 small meat, 1up [plus skip next round].
So if you don't want to skip any rounds, then make sure you get between 30 and
49 smiles [so you still get the blue heart].

(C-02) ROUND 02
###############################################################################

Part 01 - Piranha River
-----------------------
The piranhas drain your health here if they bite you, so butt a few times to
shake them off. Get fruit from the first 2 flowers and ignore the third, then
ride 2 logs right and bounce left to a ledge above. Take the smile on your
left, then pound the platform under the arrow made of cherries to find the
eruption bonus game.
Jump back right before you bounce and spin to another smile, then jump right on
top of the bricks and walk right for 3 hidden smiles. Drop off the right side
to get a blue heart, then climb the tree on your left to reach the bonking up
bonus game [you jump up to the wall and press "II" to bounce away from it, then
hold against that wall and repeat].
Jump left across more trees [hit the enemies from below and grab the tree
again] and bonk the flower for a 1up. Jump back right across the trees before
attacking some fish and a fly, then climb right across some trees for 2 smiles.
Ride the log across to a boss.

Boss: Jumping Bones
-------------------
These 2 enemies hop around and try to land on you. You want to either bonk
them just before they hit you, jump up and pound them from above or jump to
hit them from below. Either way it takes 2-3 hits on each to finish the fight.

Part 02 - Bamboo Jungle
-----------------------
Bonk the ledges above to swing up them and attack the fish when you reach it.
Bonk the flower for a 1up or big heart, then keep climbing for another fish and
some small meat. Jump up a tree and carefully take the smile past the spring
enemy, then repeat for one more smile before taking the third above. Take the
flying flower and attack another spring for a smile, then turn the next flower
blue and jump on it for a 1up.
Climb up more trees while breaking blocks and dodging spikes, then go left for
the cave leap bonus game. Quickly jump up the opening block as you attack an
enemy and reach the goal.

Part 03 - Cloud Ruins
---------------------
Go right past the axe enemy, jumping bone and spikes to reach some clouds.
Bounce right up the clouds and back left across some opening blocks. Keep left
across them for 5 smiles, then go back right past more axe enemies, jumping
bones and spikes. Bonk the flower for a 1up or big heart, then bounce off the
next flower to reach the slip zone bonus game above.
Drop back down and stay low past some spikes, then keep right down here if you
want to jump some spikes and attack bugs for a smile and flower bounce bonus
game.
Go back left and up if you took this detour, then take the smile and stay up
high to reach the capsule.

Boss: Witch Doctor
------------------
Move slightly left as you fall, so you don't hit the spikes.
This guy rushes back and forth and occasionally stops to fire freezing rings at
you. You want to jump up and pound him, and try to stay in the air as he moves
so you can score more hits. Hit him about 10 times to finish the battle and
this round.

(C-03) ROUND 03
###############################################################################

Part 01 - Snow Mountain
-----------------------
Bounce off the hidden flower after the second hill to reach the northern lights
above, then bounce right for the cave leap bonus game. Keep right for some big
meat and rush right for some small meat. Bounce up to the stone ledge and
slide through an igloo with a question mark above it. Pound the ground here to
fall into a passage below, then work your way right for a blue heart, big
heart, and the piranha lift bonus game.
Bonk your way up the next shaft and take the smile on your left, then attack
the snowball and fire enemies on your right while grabbing 2 more smiles.

Boss: Triceratops
-----------------
This guy just runs back and forth, so pound him 3 times to move on.

Part 02 - Hot Springs
---------------------
Go right to the flower and bounce left, then pound each enemy to reach the 1up
and try your best to spin into the smiles. Head right to an igloo and spin
right to the cave leap bonus game, then bounce right across the northern
lights. Check the top of the tree here to find the slip zone bonus game.
Smash the nearby igloo for a smile and check low for some big meat, then climb
up and bounce right across the enemies for a big heart. Avoid the triceratops
below and keep right to the goal.

Part 03 - Mammoth Tomb
----------------------
Watch the falling spikes and ghosts as you spin past the bone pits [try to
land on your feet or you'll slide], then pound the blocks for a small heart.
Ignore the flowers and push the yellow one right, then bounce up the shaft and
bonk to reach the top.
Take the smile and play the bonking up bonus game, then spin right to find some
big meat. Drop down and bonk the flower to turn it yellow, then push it right
to reach the smiles above. Carefully ride across the stones platforms that
move towards you as you jump, then go past the mammoths and a fake capsule that
explodes.
Carefully jump across some platforms, then you can fall down the second last
gap and carefully bonk back up before you hit the bones if you want a 1up.
Cross more stone platforms to reach the capsule just ahead.

Boss: Ice Ballerina
-------------------
Stay away from the middle and hug the outer wall while the boss spins. Bonk or
spin to dodge the snowballs, then spin into her when she stops. Repeat this
for about 10 hits to finish the battle.

(C-04) ROUND 04
###############################################################################

Part 01 - Parasol Beach
-----------------------
Watch for birds, surfing enemies and tanning enemies [jump over them] as you go
right past 2 groups of trees. Check under a table here to find the cave-vandal
bonus game. Keep right to find a trio of flying enemies. Hit these guys
from anywhere but from the sides to move on.
----------------------
Part 02 - Warship Hold
----------------------
Swim right and watch for the mines as they explode in 6 directions [safe above
or below]. Bonk the piranhas as you swim right and up into the hold, then
break through the first pile of boxes for some big meat. Check the left side
of the next box pile for small meat and a small heart below, then go all the
way left and up to the next passage.
Follow it all the way right before fighting your way left through another one.
Go left past the missiles and birds to find the eruption bonus game. Go right
and drop below the last cannon to reach the flower bounce bonus game, then head
for the goal.

Part 03 - Warship Hold
-----------------------
Jump down and bonk the crab for a smile, then continue to the boxes. Bonk the
left side for a 1up and check the upper right for a small heart, then work your
way to the lower right. Jump up the platforms and bonk the flower until it
turns green, then bonk it once more for a blue heart. Jump up past more
enemies and go left at the top for the slip zone bonus game.
Jump up the rails and bounce over the radar towers, then follow the arrows down
and jump over the flames to the goal.

Part 04 - Sailor Saloon
-----------------------
Spin over the flames and take the big meat, then run left through the enemies
and drop down. Attack those to your right while passing a big stack of
barrels, then spin though the door to clear a gap below. Pound the ground at
the right wall to find the cave-vandal bonus game.
Swim down and left while bonking crabs and avoiding mines, then drop to the
capsule below.

Boss: Captain Cook
------------------
Hide in the water at the start and spin before the boss rises out of the three
platforms. Spin and hit him to avoid his horizontal hook attack. After about
13 hits he jumps off-screen.
The boss comes back with a boat and fires a series of missiles, followed by a
low fireball. You want to bounce off a missile to get above him and score a
few hits. You can also jump above him before he shoots the fireball. After
about 5 hits, the fight is over.

(C-05) ROUND 05
###############################################################################

Part 01 - Fireball Field
------------------------
Watch the fireballs and ignore all 5 flowers, then attack a triceratops and
bonk the flower. Bounce up to the clouds and head left for the piranha lift
bonus game, then bonk the flower on your right until it gives up a blue heart.
Drop down and hit the flower on your left for some small meat, then fight your
way right past fireballs and piranhas.
Jump up the wall and dodge more enemies and fireballs while bonking the
flowers, then keep right to the goal.

Part 02 - Lava Flow
-------------------
Jump across the blocks and ignore the first flower, then bounce off the second.
Spin and try your best to bounce off the enemies while avoiding the lava and
jumping the opening blocks.

Part 03 - Orange Waterfall
--------------------------
Bonk the fish and crabs before jumping up the waterfall, then bounce left
across more enemies and climb another waterfall. Fight right and climb the
waterfall, the battle left and go partway up another. Spin right while dodging
the boulders to find the bonking up bonus game.
Climb the waterfall and fight some bouncing bones and a fly, then climb another
one. Fight some more and climb up a bit, then spin left and pound in front of
both caves to find the cave leap and cloud clear [attack the enemies
without getting hit] bonus games.
Climb the waterfall and attack the enemies, then bounce or spin to the left
ledge above. Bonk the flower until it's blue, then jump for a 1up. Go up
another waterfall and bounce off the boulder, then spin for the smiles. Go up
one more waterfall and head right to the goal.

(C-06) ROUND 06
###############################################################################

Part 01 - Laundry Pools
-----------------------
Attack the crab and head right to a flower, then bounce up and right to some
big meat off-screen. Run right past all the enemies and attack the triceratops
as the invincibility wears off. Attack more crabs to your right and ignore the
flower before the goal.
----------------------------
Part 02 - Hatchet's Hometown
----------------------------
Attack the enemy and pound the second chimney for some small meat, then bounce
back up and attack some purple flying enemies. Pound the chimney up ahead to
get a flying flower, then fly left above the clouds for 2 flowers that take you
to some small hearts, a 1up, a big heart and a blue heart. Go back right and
battle your way to a boss.

Boss: Helicopter
----------------
This guy releases bubbles you can pop with your head as you try to land 3 hits
on him.

Part 03 - Haunted Tower
-----------------------
Grab the small meat on your right and attack some enemies, then jump left
across the opening blocks and follow the arrows into the next room. Head right
and jump up more opening blocks to reach the third room. Jump up more of the
same until you see a formation of them pointing left in a "V" shape.
You can smash the wall on both sides here to reach a flying flower, a blue
heart and a 1up. Return to the main room and jump up more of those blocks
while attacking the witches, then enter the capsule at the top.

Boss: Flying Robot
------------------
The boss flies back and forth and pauses right before rushing at you. So run
to either side when he pauses, then pound him from above.
After about 3 hits in this way he starts sending his hands after you. He still
does the same attack as well, so you want to bonk the hands quickly and score 4
more hits on his head to win the fight.

(C-07) ROUND 07
###############################################################################

Part 01 - Moon Pyramid
----------------------
There are 4 capsules here with 2 on either side of you. Consider them numbered
from left to right as 1, 2, 3 and 4. Take capsule #3 first.

Part 02 - Spook Tunnel
----------------------
Go right past ghosts, witches and mammoths, then cross some opening blocks and
step on the tongue to fight Dodogie a second time [the fight is identical to
the first time you fought].
Take capsule #2 next.

Part 03 - Ambush Tunnel
-----------------------
Attack the enemies and bounce off the boulder, then attack some more and grab
the blue heart in the piranhas. Go past the stomping feet, stabbing blades and
a boulder next. Spin across the spikes and past more enemies as you take the
big heart, then ride the tongue to fight the witch doctor boss once more.
Take capsule #4 next.

Part 04 - Aquatic Tunnel
------------------------
Bonk the piranhas and smash the blocks before swimming past the crushing wall.
Swim past more of the same plus crabs and mines before another crushing wall.
Keep this up until you hit the tongue at the end and face off against the ice
ballerina boss once more.
Take capsule #1 next.

Part 05 - Conveyor Tunnel
-------------------------
Attack the helicopter and avoid the drips as well as the spot where 2 conveyors
meet [you can get stuck in between and lose some health]. Smash the boxes and
get crushed by the wall to become a crab, then walk and jump left before taking
the blue heart and 1up above.
Drop down and keep right past some radar towers to another crab block, then
take another blue heart and 1up above. Carefully drop down and stay away from
the middle, then jump right and get hit by the drip to change back. Smash the
boxes and attack some helicopters before you reach the tongue and the captain
cook boss once more.
There's a new capsule here so take it to fight the flying robot boss once
again.

Boss: King Drool III
--------------------
The boss uses fireballs or missiles on you before flying off the side of the
screen. Stand on the block opposite this side as he charges at you, then jump
and pound his crown. Get on the other block and hit him as he charges a second
time. Repeat this for 8? hits to finish the game!

Some food restores your health as you collect it.

Collect 50 of these yellow faces in a round to skip the next round.

These look like Bonk's face and give you an extra life.

Small Meat
----------
Meat lets you turn enemies to stone by landing on the ground with your head.
You also move faster than normal and your hits create little fireballs that
move horizontally afterwards.

Big Meat
--------
Big meat lets you breathe fire and damage enemies even more by stomping the
ground. You're also invincible for the first few seconds while flashing.

Bonus Flower
------------
These small red flowers take you to the bonus games, where you can get more
points and items.

Flying Flower
-------------
These bouncing flowers look like bonus flowers. When you pick one up you get a
flower on your head. Press "I" rapidly to fly up into the air.

Small Heart
-----------
Restores one of your hearts when picked up.

Big Heart
---------
Fully restores your health when picked up.
----------
Blue Heart
----------
These rare hearts add one more heart to your health meter, to a maximum of 8.
You can get them from the bonus elevator by getting 30-50 smiles in a round.
They can also be by bonking green flowers in some rounds.
