| 1. THE PURPOSE OF THIS GUIDE |

The purpose of this guide is to help those people that have been searching for
certain heart pieces for ages and still can't find them.
Each week 8 new heart pieces are access able, so that becomes 2 heart
containers! Also you get always 2 heart containers each week from the bosses so
that means that you can increase your heart containers by 4 each week. Great,
isn't it?
You cannot get the digging heart pieces from later weeks, so if you missed
the ones in week 1 you can't get them in week 2. Usually there's plenty of
extra time in each week so running out of time shouldn't be a problem.

| 2.1 HEART PIECE LIST WEEK 1 |

1. Get yourself to the Eastern Palace and start walking south-south-west.
You should end up to a heart piece surrounded by pits. In order to get it,
you'll need to run on the wall that is above so that you fly over the pits
to the heart piece. After you've collected it, drop yourself into one of the
pits and then get out of the cavern where you fall to.
2. Go to Sasharla's hiding hut and bomb the wall in the back part of the
house. You'll end up in a room with four chests. Three of them contain
a red rupee and the last one contain the heart piece you’re searching for.
3. Go to the bridge which is made of stones southwest from the Eastern
Palace. You should see a pile of rocks, which are hiding a cavern under
them. Run into the pile and the cavern will open, and the heart piece
will be waiting for you inside. ;)
4. Now go northeast from the place where you are and you should find a
cracked piece of cliff. Bomb it open and you'll find a chest with the
heart piece waiting for you inside.
5. Go to the Rental Shop, but don't go inside. You should see here another
piece of cracked cliff which you can blow open with your bombs. Now it's
time for a crystal switch puzzle. Solve it and you'll get a heart piece
as your reward.
6. Get out of the cave and now go inside the Rental Shop and rent yourself a
shovel. A cross will appear on your world map which points to a buried
heart piece. The location varies so I can't specify where to find it.
7. The next piece is hidden behind a waterfall. Go to Syrup's hut and start
walking northwest until you get to the river. Do a nice swimming jump and
then start swimming. You should see a big waterfall, and behind it there's
a cave hidden so swim there. Once you're inside you'll see 4 small faeries
which you can bottle if you want, but the important thing is the cracked
wall which is behind them. Bomb it open and a heart piece will be waiting
for you there.
8. The last one is timed. Go in the front of the entrance to the second
dungeon and wait until it's 18:34 and then a heart piece should fall from
the sky.

1. Go to Kakariko Village's northwest corner. There should be some kind of well
where you are supposed to jump from the cliff above. When you get down go
trough the door to the south and you should find a heart piece waiting for
you in a chest.
2. After that go to the southwest corner where this so called "Mysterious Hut"
is located. Bomb the southern part of it and you'll get inside. There are two
chests and the one to the right contains a red rupee, and the one to the left
contains the heart piece.
3. In Kakariko Village's Pub there's also a chest containing a heart piece.
(Remember the bottle chest in ALttp?) To get it, go inside the pub using the
back door and open the chest and the heart piece is yours.
4. Now go to the southern part of Kakaiko Village and enter the Library, or
"The House of Books" as the official A Link to the Past guide calls it.
You'll see a piece if heart there. Run into the bookcase and it'll fall down
so you can get it.
5. Get out of the house and walk a bit east. You should see a crack on a cliff
close by. In the first room there's two chests, each of them contains a red
rupee. In order to proceed, lit the torches and the door will open. In the
following room there's another block puzzle, and when you solve it walk
straight over to the chest and open it and the heart piece is yours.
6. After that piece walk to the west and jump down the cliff and continue
walking until you're at the end of the path and you should notice another
cracked cliff. Bomb it and go inside, there's some pink monsters popping out
of the floor. Make sure they stop popping out by smashing them with your
hammer. Bomb the end wall and get to the next room and a chest
which contains a heart piece is waiting for you.
7. Now get out and go to the rental shop. Rent you a shovel and a cross will be
marked on your world map leading to the buried piece of heart. The location
of the cross varies so I can't give directions.
8. The last piece of heart is located in the forest. Get yourself to the stump
which you can go inside, but don't do that. Instead cut the bushes behind the
stump and a pit should appear after cutting the one in the middle. Jump into
the pit and when you get down do trough the doorway to the south and you'll
find the last heart piece waiting for you in the ground. There's also a room
in the stump with two chests and each of them contain a red rupee.

1. Go to the house from where you start and walk northwest from there.
Eventually you should notice a pile of stones near where you are. Run on them
and a cave will open and go inside it. As you get inside you'll notice some
torches, you'll need to lit them in order to proceed further. As you do it
the door will open and in the next room there's a chest where the piece of
heart is hidden.
2. Now go to the Rental Shop and rent you a shovel. Check your world map and you
should notice a red cross on it. It shows you where the heart piece you're
searching for is hidden. Just go there and start digging and the heart piece
should pop up sooner or later. The location of the piece varies so I can't
give you directions to it.
3. Go northeast from the fifth dungeon as long as possible and you should come
across a cracked cliff piece. Bomb it and go inside. There's four chests and
the one in the upper-left corner contains the heart piece your searching for.
You can push the rocks just for fun, or then just go straight to the chest.
4. Go to the Fortune seer's house by the lake and walk a bit south from there
and you should find a very small piece of wooden fence. Go above it and then
start walking to the right and stop just before you're going to fall into the
water. Now equip your hookshot and shoot. If everything goes well it should
hook into a piece of wooden fence on another island, or if it doesn't your
standing in the wrong place. As you get to the island just take the heart
piece and then jump to the water.
5. Now go to the flute boy in the forest and start walking south. A cavern
surrounded by stones should appear. Lift the stones and go inside. There's
some small fairies but the important thing is in a chest on the other side of
the cave so start running there. If you're lucky you should bump straight on
the chest you're supposed to open. When you get it just get out of the
cavern.
6. Start going to the Desert Complex. On your way there you should come to a row
of stones and after them there's a pile of stones. Run on the pile and a cave
will open. Get inside and go bomb the wall on the other side of the cave and
you'll get to the room with the heart piece.
7. There's another cave a bit north from where you are now (Remember the Big
Fairy in ALttp?). When you get inside you'll see a thief who will give you
300 rupees if you talk with him. Behind him there's a crack in the wall so
bomb it. The next room has a block puzzle and after you solve it go to the
heart piece.
8. When you get to the desert go a bit northwest until you get to a path formed
by beast bones. Follow the path until you get to a cave and go inside. Now
here's some small fairies and behind them there's a bombable wall. Blow it
open and go to the next room. Now you'll need to lit the four torches in
order for the heart piece chest to appear. When you have done that you'll
have all heart pieces from week 3.

| 1.4 HEART PIECE LIST WEEK 4 |

1. A pile of stones is located on a cliff west of the sanctuary. By walking
a bit southwest from the sanctuary, you should see the pile. Run into it
and a cave will appear under it. As you go in you'll notice a fairy queen.
Behind her there's a bombable wall which leads you to the room with the
heart piece. There's yet another block puzzle for you to solve. Then just
walk over to the chest and open it, and then the heart piece is yours!
2. Go to the lumberjack's house which is east from the forest and in the
north. You'll notice a cave behind the house. Go in it and a torch puzzle
will be waiting for you. Just lit all the torches and the door will open.
In the next room there's pink monsters popping out of the floor which you
need to hit with your hammer if you want to. Another heart piece is waiting
for you in the chest!
3. In the forest east of the sanctuary (Close to the fortune teller) there's a
heart piece which is half visible and the other half is hiding itself
under the tree. Pick it up and then just continue searching for additional
pieces. ;)
4. Now go to the fortune teller's house but don't go inside, instead go to the
left side of it. You should notice another pile of stones. Run into them
and then go inside the cave. Once you enter some pots should be blocking
your way, so throw them away. At the end there should be a chest where the
heart piece is.
5. Go to the rental shop close to the lumberjack's and hire yourself a shovel.
Now there's a cross marked on your world map. That's where the heart piece
is buried. You'll need to climb onto the top of the mountain in order to
dig it, or then you could make life a lot easier by just flying there. ;)
6. Another heart piece is also located at the mountain. Close by where you
dug the other heart piece, you should notice some ladders that lead
underground. Once there you should see four small fairies, and behind them
there's a bomb able wall. When you've bombed it you'll come to a room which
has a block puzzle. After solving it open the chest and you'll get the piece.
7. Once you get to the dark world walk a bit north and you'll find a pile of
stones. Run on it and then go inside. When you're there go to the right and
then up and you'll find a chest with a heart piece.
8. Go in front of Ganon's palace and then turn right and then up. There should
be a heart piece.
