                                INTRODUCTION
                              ----------------
===============================================================================

Hello there, and welcome to the Fire & Ice FAQ/Walkthrough! This guide
covers a complete beginning to end walkthrough for the aformented platformer,
as well as an enemy list. Note that each stage walkthrough has a link to map
of each stage, so if you are planning on downloading this document it might
be handy to grab those at the same time via the following link -

www.crazyreyn.com/faqs/Fire_and_Ice_Stage_Maps.zip

For me personally, Fire & Ice is drenched in nostalgia; I remember playing this
game quite a lot as a child, despite being so damn poor at it, only managing
to get to Stage 7 (Castle McClean) before biting the dust. Saying that even
now I am no better, and thanks to the wonders of emulation I can see to the
very end of the game first hand, writing a guide as I go. I hope you enjoy
the game has much as I have, and that this guide helps you put this game to
rest like I have.

Enjoy,

- Matt (Crazyreyn)

Button 1 - Fire Freezing Pellet
Hold Button 1 - Release special move

--------------
Hints and Tips
--------------

- Killing enemies gives you Key Parts. When six of these are collected you
form a key which can be used on the key hole to reach the next stage.
- If you cannot find any more Key Parts, revisit earlier parts of the stage for
enemy respawns for more parts. Check everywhere, even for flying enemies,
and you'll get them all eventually.
- Clouds can be powered up by firing balls at them. They get darker and darker
until they give out snow powerfuls. However any more and they'll thunder,
 which kill!
- You can take one kill before dying, and lives are not easy to come by,
so really watch where you are going!
- Pouch is a puppy that, to a degree, mimics your actions. He will move when
you move, pellet when you pellet, and can kill enemies instantly by touch.
He only appears rarely (mainly at the start of stages) but in certain parts,
such as the Hidden Section of the Temple, he will become a great help in
 passing an enemy filled corridor.
- You recieve random powerups, especially from orbs, which give you abilities
such as showering pellets in front of you, and creating an ice field
so any enemies you touch freeze instantly. Hold Fire to activate the next
 powerup.
- Several levels contain warps to other stages, or even hidden ones. They
are described in the walkthrough as you come to them and are on the stage
maps, otherwise just reach the Keyhole to continue straight on to the next
 stage.
- A list of enemies in each world can be seen toward the end of the guide.
- I have created maps for each and every stage, which can all be downloaded
 in this zip file -

2.01. Ice Pole
--------------

STAGE 1 - PACK THEM BAGS
------------------------
Warps - N/A
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/51136

Before we begin, the aim of each stage is to get Six Key Parts to access the
Key Hole to the next stage. Killing enemies gives you Key Parts (randomally)
so kill every enemy you come across until you get all the parts. Once you have
them, find the Key Hole to exit.

Run right and leap over the two penguins, then up the hill. Jump the snowballs
and down the next hill, being sure to leap the penguin. Defeat all of these
enemies until you reach the end of the cave, where there is a button on the
far right; press it to create ledges leading up. Watch out for the Eskimo
that snowballs as you reach the top, and head left. On the edge of this
platform is the KEY HOLE.

Head up the platforms here and kill the enemies on the right, then leap up to
the top. There is a button at the edge to create a bridge to the left. Head
over and kill the penguins and collect the coins around you. Navigate past all
the spike balls by leaping over each section until you reach the end platform,
where you'll get a 1-Up Bone. Now drop down below, and off the left to start
at the beginning. By now you should have all the Key Parts, so head to the Key
Hole to finish.

STAGE 2 - GREEN RUN
-------------------
Warps - Stage 4
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/51137

Defeat the enemies around you and go up the platforms, where you'll get a 1-Up
Bone at the top. Fire in the air to the right to reveil a block that you can
leap from to get the line of coins on the right. At the bottom there are
enemies all across to the right. You'll come to a ledge that a skiier comes
off; after that run right and keep firing as you go up the bank to hit all
the skiiers as you go. At the top take out all the enemies and a set of
platforms will appear on your left if you fire across. If you want to
WARP TO STAGE FOUR then jump and fire to reveal a block; stand on top and look
right and fire to reveal another block, stand on that and fire left for
another etc until there are no more (four or five blocks up). Now stand on that
and jump up to warp away!

At the other side, take the enemies out one by one whilst looking out above
to reach a switch at the end. Take the platforms up, then up the ledges and
drop down and collect the coins. Run across right to find the KEYHOLE. Don't
stand at the edge as you'll slide off, and wait for a seagull to come from
the right before going across via the platform. Kill the Eskimos and Seagulls
here. You should have all the Key Parts now, so return back left and exit.

STAGE 3 - GLACIER CAVERN
------------------------
Warp - N/A
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/51138

Simply run right and tap Fire, killing the enemies as you go. Stop at the
end bank so the snowballs rest at the bottom, then Fire as you go up to get
the skiiers. Jump left onto the ledge and defeat the enemies, then once more
walk left across and vanquish the enemies. At the end press the button and go
up the platforms; go up a few steps then wait for snowballs and Seagull poo
to land above your head, then go up and waste 'em. Head right to reach two
paths; take the lower and go across right to the very end platform. There
are various enemies on this route that'll have Key Parts. Go back to the
split and fire in the air to reveal a hidden block to get to the upper level.
Go across right until you reach the KEYHOLE.

STAGE 4 - BLACK RUN
-------------------
Warps - Hidden Ice Stage
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/51139

Take out the Seagulls and slide down the hill, drop down then slide left.
Stop before the bottom and clear the enemies down here and on the upper
platforms. Go back right up the bank and take out the Skiiers on the summit,
then down the other side. Kill the bird and drop down, go left into the cave
and shoot the hidden platform under left side to get the goodies above. Go
right to the next cavern and clear out the enemies here. If you fancy going
using the HIDDEN ICE STAGE WARP go right to the end and fire in the air to find
a block; climb on top then jump to warp.

Head out and shoot in the air outside the cavern to reveal a block. Head up
and go up the bank. This is tricky so listen up; hammer the Fire button to
clear the Skiiers and keep moving after the second so you avoid the Seagull
poo but STOP to avoid the snowballs that fall from above. Leap them and start
tackling the Yeti. Stand at a distance so you can leap his snowballs, and
another he takes a while he is pretty tame. The KEYHOLE is behind him.

HIDDEN ICE STAGE
----------------
Warps - N/A
Stage Map - N/A

Slide down the bank and stop at the bottom, and clear the enemies. Go right
and approach the waters and wait for the Whale to submerge. When he emerges
jump on the water sprout and wait for it to go up slightly, giving you the
height to leap onto the above platform. Tackle the penguin and drop down the
two platforms to a group of penguins. Lay waste to them and go right to another
Whale, again waiting for it to come up to the surface fresh so you can have
a proper stab at getting above. The platform has a button that activates
platforms going up, but drop down right to get a 1-Up Bone (use the platforms
to get up again).

Go right and clear the cavern area, then across the left bridge via the ground
switch. Go left and clear the enemies, watching out for the snowballs from
above, and the shards of ice that emerge from the ground. At the far end
press the switch and climb on the single block and wait for the above enemies
to clear away before jumping up and clearing them. Leap the spike balls and
shards of ice, press the button for a bridge and clear the end Yeti (stand
your distance and fire away so you can dodge his projectles) to find the
KEYHOLE. You'll begin at Stage Five.

------------
2.02. Castle
------------

STAGE 5 - WHIT A BRAW DAY
-------------------------
Warps - Stage 6
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/51140

Clear the enemies just here and continue past the tree. Critters come out of
this tree, so watch your back as you continue right up the bank. The Shield
enemy here cannot be tackled from the front, so just leap over and attack
from behind. More Shield enemies and a Thundercloud await you at the summit.
Continue to the gap and leap over to find a Key Part by the tree, along with
various enemies to destroy at your pleasure. The KEYHOLE is off to the right,
and if you have cleared all the enemies then you should have it all. However
if you need more enemies, or spoils, then follow below.

Go back to the gap and drop down to the platform inside, and work your way
left to the ground. Go across right and clear the enemies until the end.
There is a gap here, which is you drop down is a WARP POINT TO STAGE 6. Over
the gap is a button in the corner that creates blocks up to the above ledge.
Up here jump on the right side into the midair switch to create a means to
escape the cavern back up left and outside. Fancy some more? Head back left to
the Thundercloud for new platforms to take you to the upper area. Here you
can pan left and right to get a range of goodies. When you are done, don't
forget the Keyhole is on the extreme right edge on the surface.

STAGE 6 - THE MOAT
------------------
Warps - N/A
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/51141

Ice the Shield from behind and head down the bank, ignoring the upper route
for now. Under the spoils there is a column of hidden platforms. Continue right
down the passage and clear the enemies as you go to reach a door with a chest
next to it. The chest gives out loads of points, and the door has an Archer
from it's window which needs to be taken out. Once done here, head back out
to the split, take a run up the hill and jump across to the upper route.

Head past the tree to the upper part of the hill. Try and leap over the Shield
enemies whilst avoiding the Critters from the tree you just past, so you
defeat the Shield enemies in order to try and get some Key Parts. In this
Moat area, wait until the nearest Crocodile has open it's mouth then leap
across them to the other side. Fire as you land to clear the enemies, as well
as the Archer in the door, to hopefully get all the Key Parts. The KEYHOLE is
here.

STAGE 7 - CASTLE MACLEAN
------------------------
Warps - N/A
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/51142

Fire straight away to get the Drip on the floor and wait for the fireplace to
explode before moving onward and leaping past the Shield. Kill him and the one
after, as well as the Archers in the door before reaching the edge of the
pit. There are hidden blocks going across to the right. You can just above
make them out in the stone, however in case you cannot see them check the
above map or the following ASCII art -

                                      X                   ----
                              X   X       X   X       X
                          X                       X
                  ----

From the right ledge, the blocks will appear and disappear in the parallel
spaces in the wall going across the left. Leap on the block as it appears,
then across to the next as it appears and so on until you reach the far side.
Smash Fire to get rid of the enemies, and beware of the Archer that'll snipe
at your feet just off the screen left. Continue to the blocks, watch out for
the Drips here that come from above and clear the Spiders on the left side.
Climb the blocks and take out the Archers either side. On the left side,
find the hidden block and jump up from it to get a 1-Up Bone from above.

Continue right over the gaps and past easy to tackle enemies until you reach
the pit again, with a swinging platform to get upon. Wait until it swings
right, wait a second, then leap high just out; you should land on it no problem
but if you timed it wrong, hopefully you can fall back on to the ledge in time.
Go onto the platform in the centre then drop down to the next swinging platform
and drop off at the end. Go crazy with Firing to ice the bunnies that run
across, and clear the other enemies to (hopefully) get all the Key Parts. The
KEYHOLE is right here.

STAGE 8 - RAMPART ROMP
----------------------
Warps - N/A
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/51143

Immediately jump left to avoid the Drip and lay waste to the enemies here.
Take your time progressing right, as you'll need to leap Shield enemies and
avoid Archers from above at the same time. Once you have cleared the enemies
here, ignore the gap and go back to where you begin and fire at the space on
the left for hidden blocks. Take these up to the roof and go right across
until you reach platforms to the other building. The KEYHOLE is on this
turret. Chances are you'll need some more Key Parts, so go right and drop down
the bottom area for some on the ground and Archers in the window. To get back
up use the Switch in the bottom right corner of the stage to reveal platforms
that go up.

You'll warp to the next part of the stage. Take out the Archer and the right
bunny then head down the bank to the water, where you'll find... Nessie!
Land on the middle part of each platform to avoid the spines either side.
Each time you land, wait to see if a bird appears, and for fish ahead to
jump out before continuing. At the end leap onto the floating platform and
go right to the end. Get the 1-Up Bone and quickly activate the switch and
head up the platforms before the Critters emerge from the tree. Go from
platform to platform left until you reach the KEYHOLE. Chances are you won't
have enough Key Parts - if you leap off and hold left, you'll see a line of
coins which you can follow safely onto the Nessies back. Now go back right
across the back shooting the fish until you get the parts you need.

----------------
2.03. Underwater
----------------

STAGE 9 - DEEP BREATH
---------------------
Warps - N/A
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/51239

Take out the enemies in front of you and make your way down the bank. Stop at
the green slime on the straight part of land and fire a few pellets in front
of you to get the crab on the platform. Stand on it, drop down right then left
and drop down left into the tunnel going left. There is just a few enemies and
collectables to get here. Go right along the bottom until you reach platforms;
on the lowest one is a bubble blower which creates bubbles for you to ride up
on. Step off after the first platform to avoid hitting above enemies, and make
your way right and up the ledge. If you want collectables, go left and leap
across to near the start.

There are blowers either side of the gap, however their bubbles burst very
quickly. Leap over the gap and drop down here to find a 1-Up Bone underneath
the platform. Drop down left onto the platform; go right to find a small cove
with treasures and enemies, and a hidden block in the middle. To finish, go
right through the tunnel - you can walk through the rock walls. Fire pellets
ahead of you to ensure no enemies remain behind the walls, to come to the
KEYHOLE on top of the end platform.

STAGE 10 - A LIFE ON THE OCEAN WAVE
-----------------------------------
Warps - Hidden Underwater Stage 1
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/51240

Make your way out of this cove and go up the platforms, then go left across
the ground. There are hidden blocks here leading up however you won't need them
as you can just go left and use the platforms there (which has collectables
and enemies you might want to exploit). Make your way across the top until you
have to drop down - drop down to the very bottom to where you came out of the
cove again, then go right.

Make your way along the bottom until you come to a gap at the end, with ledges
above back left. If you take the platforms up then left you'll come to a
cluster of platforms, which stars in a circle above them. Jumping into them
will WARP TO HIDDEN UNDERWATER STAGE 1. Otherwise, go to the end and drop down,
defeat the enemies here to find the KEYHOLE. If you need more keyparts then
use the bubble blower at the end to return back up.

STAGE 11 - CAVE OF GOOD FORTUNE
-------------------------------
Warps - Hidden Underwater Stage 2
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/51241

As soon as you drop down, fire pellets to take out the advancing fish. Drop
down the cliff and right until you reach a gap. Drop down this hear hole and
go left down the passage and use the bouncy clam on the platform to go up
(press Up as you land on it until you get high enough). Defeat the enemies and
the teleport is on the left side, which is a WARP TO HIDDEN UNDERWATER STAGE 2.

Use it, otherwise go back via the clam and use the platform to go up. Continue
right and drop down the gap to the bottom, where in this cove area right are
half a dozen enemies and various collectables. Once done, use the bubble blower
back left to head back to the top, where there are various platforms are above.
Get the collectables, and if you want to reach the far platform right, wait
on the ledge for a turtle to ride across. In the far right corner is the
KEYHOLE.

STAGE 12 - TUNNEL OUT
---------------------
Warps - N/A
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/51242

Drop down right and continue to the gap. Don't go down as you'll make your
way round there shortly; jump over and defeat the enemies and leap on the
platform. Jump up to get a 1-Up Bone. Go back left, past the platforms until
you reach the end where there is a platform over a gap. Use it to get up the
top, for enemies and collectables. Go back and drop down past that platform.
Drop down left to the corner and clear all the enemies, as well as the hidden
block above the ledge, and use the clam on the platform to go back up and
scale the jagged sides to get back up.

Go right and take the twisting tunnel until the end, where there is a platform.
Do not go right just yet and drop down below and clear this area. There is an
Orb Generator on the right so max out your orbs and return back up to that
platform and leap right. As you step into the slime area the Eel will immerge
and fire smaller fish. Go CRAZY with pellets and orbs so it takes out the fish
and hits him. Hop back and forth, spamming pellets until he is dead - he is
pretty tough! If you need a life then go up from that platform, right and leap
on the ledge to get a 1-Up Bone. When he is defeated you'll get a Keypart and
the KEYHOLE is behind him.

HIDDEN UNDERWATER STAGE 1
-------------------------
Warps - N/A
Stage Map - N/A

You'll get all the Keyparts as you start. Go right down the platforms, then
back left across the bottom and kill all the enemies here around the gap. If
you drop down there are areas to the left and right where you can get various
collectables, otherwise just hop over left and go to the end of the tunnel
to go to STAGE 10.

HIDDEN UNDERWATER STAGE 2
-------------------------
Warps - N/A
Stage Map - N/A

Drop down the passage below and go left, up the clam and kill the enemies in
the closed off left area. Go right to the platform. There are two paths with
two teleports to use; at the end left is a teleport to STAGE 12, and right is
one to STAGE 11.

---------------------------
2.04. Rainforest and Temple
---------------------------

STAGE 13 - RAIN FOREST RUMBLE
-----------------------------
Warps - N/A
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/51243

Go right and fire pellets at the Archer from behind. At the fly trap wait
for the villagers in the background to throw bombs either side of it, then
extinguish the fires with pellets before continuing. Stand under the first
ledge and spam pellets to defeat the oncoming rat and falling bug, then
stand on the stone plinth to be taken across the fly trap pit. You need to
stand on either handle and leap when it lowers down to avoid the snaps.

At the other side, there are a few more spears and enemies around the ledge
ahead. There are a lot of enemies, especially archers, around the fly trap
so stay back then pellet ahead. The KEYHOLE is at the end here. If you need
Keyparts, then go back to the tree for some bugs, and back again for more
archers.

STAGE 14 - THE MECHANICAL WONDER
--------------------------------
Warps - N/A
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/52806

Note - Rocks will plummet down when the screen shacks, so stay alert and
      dodge them as they fall.

Take out the parrot on the stone plinth, and fire ahead to clear some of the
archers. Jump the gap quickly to avoid the flames from the background,
and stand on top of the next stone plinth. Kill the caterpiller that drops
on the right, as well as the cats that run across the bottom. Note that there
are other enemies here that appear randomally in different playthroughs,
so watch yourself. Next up is a bridge with a parrot and two villagers.
Your pellets will destroy the bridge, so watch your fire and at the other side
is a boss, the 'Mechanical Wonder'.

It has two parts you must destroy - the head and tail. From the front, attack
the head and wait for it to jump. When it lands it will spit fireballs
that ignite on the ground. Once they head is done for, wait for another leap
and run underneath to the otherside and attack the tail. Arrows will randomally
shoot out of the back, so keep your distance and get ready to jump up whenever
one comes you way. Once that is done, the wonder collapses and villagers
stream out. They will fire arrows when they jump, so stay down when they do,
but otherwise keep spamming pellets at the torso of the beast until it
disappears. From all the villagers you should have enough key parts to use
the KEYHOLE at the end.

STAGE 15 - INSIDE THE TEMPLE
----------------------------
Warps - N/A
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/52807

Take out the lone villager and the subsequent pogo monkeys. Another villager
will drop from the bird, and continue to the gap. Jump on the platform and
leap up when it rises to get added height to land on the left roof for a
collection of goodies. Return back to the gap, leap over and take out the
villagers. Wait for the platform to gain enough momentum and jump on the left
side and quickly into the central platform, as it dips into the drink and will
kill you. Kill the ground pihrana and drop down the ledge on the right side.
You'll land on a platform that will take you back up so you can leap right,
clear the villagers and collect the 1-Up Bone.
Drop back down and head left, waiting at the side of the pool. When the
platform comes, WAIT for it to stop, drop and come back up again before
riding it across. Kill the bats and pogo monkeys, continue left, kill more
bats and drop down through the ground. Quickly freeze the left villager and
get up the raise section. Turn right and keep firing pellets; villagers
and a Shaman will appear, of whom will summon more Villagers, but as long as
you keep pelleting away then they'll break up automatically until he is on
his own.

Head right to the ledge where there are two revolving platforms. Land on the
nearest one, take out the bat and wait for the sound of a flamethrower,
and as soon as it goes, when the platform swings left hold left to drop off
and onto the ledge. Move out of the way of the flamethrower and kill the
Shaman. Pass the next flamethrower and use the lever to reveal a key in
the tomb on the right. Collect it, and to get back up press the lever and
leap onto the platform the spring up. Return back to those revolving
platforms and go across right to another platform over spikes; land on the
left side, then as it drops jump across and land again on the right when
it comes back up. Drop down the ledge to be teleported to the boss.

 BOSS: TEMPLE BEAST
This first part is fine if you keep your distance. Stay on the left side
at all times, either on the ground in level with that first platform to
avoid all flames that spirt at you. He has a pattern of one two break,
one two break, so between breaks jump up and right and fire pellets and
return. It does not matter if none hit, or just one or two, but keep at it
and his neck will disappear. Left are two flame stalks, which require the
exact same strategy to defeat. When one is gone it will only spirt once,
which should speed up the process some.

With the main body of the beast, there requires a specific pattern in order
to dodge the projectiles easily. The diagram below shows the platforms
positioned. Stand on 3 and fire at the beast - your pellets might miss a
little but as long as you start hitting thats ok. As soon as he fires, jump
back onto platform 1 and when the upper most flame comes down, jump over it
and land on platform 3. Repeat. It takes a while getting used to, and if you
are playing this via emulation then it could help, but keep trying until he
 is toast.

  1     4
      3
    2

When he is defeated, a platform will appear above. Head up and slay the
pogo monkeys on the right ledge for the KEY (well, all the parts in one).
Use the little nudges on the left side to get up the teleporter. You'll
return at the bottom of the pit, underneath the two revolving platforms from
earlier, on steps that sink. Quickly leap from one to the other to the left
side, past the flame throwers and use the lever to activate the platform up.
Make your way across the platforms until you come to the pit, however this
time it is bridged up. Defeat the Villagers to some platforms with more
Villagers on. Jump up and defeat the Ground Pirahna, then drop down left
and use the right platforms to make your way up - landing on one will make
the other rise, so alternate between the two to make your way up. At the top
is the KEYHOLE, which ends this horrible horrible level. Well done!

STAGE 16 - BOULDERS
-------------------
Warps - N/A
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/52808

Take out the enemies hopping down the stairs and climb up. At the top, wait
for enemies above to clear and leap over across the platforms to the right,
fire pellets to reveal hidden platforms and climb up on to the right side
of the above platform to avoid the flamethrower. Jump left, clear the enemies
to the end and use the switch to create platforms going up. Before that, drop
down left and hold left to reach a platform below the below level (it'll
make sense) and shoot right for a hidden block. There is a KEY PART hidden
in here. They are a ton of enemies on this level as well, which you can kill
if you want a chance for key parts, but my playthrough yielded none. Drop down
and return back up to that switch, clear the roof, then onto that
flamethrower platform in the centre, and jump right.

Jump over each flamethrower and across the drink, clearing the enemies
opposite. Use the bouncing platform over the lava, or the hidden platforms
on the right to get up to the top, where there are a range of enemies to
scour for key parts. Drop back down and drop down right when the flamethrower
is not active, drop left (but on the right side to avoid the Shaman) then down
again to the bottom. Head left over the platforms and move enemies to
reach hanging boulders. When they just start going up go across to under
the second, and as it falls jump up left so the boulders go down then up,
and land when it is clear again. At the left platform jump up to make it
bounce and press jump again when its rising to get some height. Land ON TOP
of the boulder aside you, then leap up to the KEYHOLE in the air.

STAGE 17 - SO MANY WAYS TO GO
-----------------------------
Warps - Hidden Temple Stage
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/52809

Clear the enemies and leap over the flamethrower into the tomb. Stand on the
platform when the spikes are not present, clear the bats and leap onto the
ledge in from of the Shaman. He will not attack and instead rebound a laser
that enters from the right. When it comes across leap up over it, then as
you land pellet away. Repeat until he is dead to create platforms leading
out of the tomb.

Ignore the second and third tombs to the end, where there will be a dead
end with a 1-Up Bone and Snake. Grab the bone and drop down the third tomb
you just passed. Kill all the enemies in here; there are a lot, but if you
have powerups it'll make your job a lot easier. Doing so should net you
pretty much all the key parts, so it is worth attempting. Run into the right
lever four times to create platforms to lead out, and enter the second (middle)
tomb you missed. In here is a snake; stand on the ledge and jump and land
every time he fires a projectile, throwing pellets right as you go until he
is done for. Stand where he was located to drop down below.

Clear the enemies to the left; if you want a teleport to HIDDEN TEMPLE STAGE
then go all the way until the floor drops, then head down. The walkthrough
is below, but considering it just takes you back to the end of this
corridor anyway, it is up to you whether you want to take it. Me? I'd rather
not risk my skin. Go all the the way right to the end platforms, bounce up the
top and use the KEYHOLE to go to STAGE 18.

HIDDEN TEMPLE STAGE
-------------------
Warps - N/A
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/52809

Hold left as your fall to find a bonus block in a niche in the wall, then
drop down to the bottom and kill the Pogo Monkeys either side. Go right,
taking out enemies as you go, use the platform to get up the ledge and onto
the above track. Go left and jump into the Minecart, and pellet the left
lever to get going. Ride the cart until it bounces off the far wall, and
quickly leap out and land right to safety, and a 1-Up Bone. Wait for the
track to regenerate, drop down and use the right lever three times to
create platforms up. Head left and clear the enemies below, and use the
Pooch above to pellet and walk into the enemies above to clear the path ahead.
Enter the doorway at the top to return back to Stage 17.

STAGE 18 - COLLECT BONUSES
--------------------------
Warps - N/A
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/52810

Woohoo! As a reward for getting far in such a tough, tough adventure,
you are treated to a lush stage of floating isles, zany creates and
a plethera of bonuses to match. Collect as much as you want; there is
a 1-Up Bone at the very top right of the stage, and a warp to a second
bonus area on the right side below that. In that stage or this one, if you
fall down to the ground you will progress to the final stage - 19. Eep!

STAGE 19 - FINAL CONFLICT
-------------------------
Warps - N/A
Stage Map - http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/amiga/file/575510/52811

Take out the travellers you come across, and at the platforms there are
Moles that appear from the ground - just speed across to the far end and
drop down. Go left - the mummies here are quick to freeze but thaw just as
quick, so run into them when you have the chance. At the drop, you can either
go down and past the flame (run underneath the ball) or over the top, either
way you'll come to the same drop down point.

Run under the flamer and drop down, and move right so a mole appears. Jump
with it and freeze it in midair to stop it throwing fireballs, and quickly
leg it down the passage before more appear. Up the platforms and past the
flame whip, grab powerups from the orbs either side. Bypass the next flame
whip and drop down to face the final boss!

 FINAL BOSS
Wait until he appears in one of the two chairs. When he does, stand on the
opposite one - you will hurt him if you pellet his head, so leap out slightly
and fire pellets to reach him. When his arm stretches out he'll fire a flame
at you which will bounce from the wall. The best strategy is to wait on the
chair for him to raise his arm, leap over the flame (firing pellets) and
when you land, jump once more to avoid the flame that bounces off, get back
on the chair and repeat. The only problem is the bouncing flame, but if you
time it should clear it everytime.

After enough hits he'll turn into a floating flame. Three words - OH. MY.
GOSH. This is freaking *HARD*. He seems to be floating around randomally and
striking you, but there is a pattern to his madness. On every third rotation
he will advance toward you. Stand level with the right chair and stand still,
watching him rotate. On the third, as you hear the sound, leap up so he
goes underneath you and guide yourself down so you don't hit the tail or the
head again as it comes back round, and repeat. It is really, really difficult
and if you are playing on the Amiga this will be near impossible - on an
emulator with save states, it was approaching unbearable. Spam pellets
constantly, and if you feel brave do little jumps as he rotates to hit him
with a pellet or two, and face him as he goes underneath to pellet him on
 the flip side.

When he hopefully bites the dust (I really hope you don't get game over
at this point!) then enjoy the ending, and quite franky batcrap crazy
finishing level! Congratulations!

                             -----------------
                               3. ENEMY LIST
                             -----------------
===============================================================================

--------
Ice Pole
--------

HEDGEHOGS - They take a while to freeze but thankfully move pretty slow.
Due to their height keep your distance so your pellets don't go
           straight over 'em.

PENGUIN - They walk really slow and take only a few pellets to freeze, so
shouldn't be too much of a problem. They only get the in way when
they are placed in annoying spots or in groups, but as long as no
other enemies are around just take your time and freeze them.

SEAGULLS - Take a single pellet to drop but you need to leap up to do so.
You'll need to watch out for them pooing on you, and without
being trying to be too crude, you can see them turtlehead a second
or two before they drop their payload. Stay away until they crap,
then go in for the kill.

SKIIERS - Annoying blighters. Only take a single pellet to freeze but more
stupidly fast, usually down hills. On every incline spam Fire so any
oncoming Skiiers are got. If you leap over one, then you can chase
them back left if you want to see if they have a Key Part (otherwise
return back there later to see if there is a respawn).

WALRUS - They slide around then stop every so often. Catch them on the off
and freeze them with a few pellets. They are pretty rare and don't
        cause much hassle, thankfully.

YETI - Only featuring on the end of Stage 4 and the Hidden Stage, these guys
are quite simple foes that take a while to freeze. Keep your distance,
watch out for the snowfalls they produce (run away and leap over the
snow balls) and watch out for their snowballs. When he is standing there
just spam fire until he drops.

------
Castle
------

ARCHERS - Appearing out of doors and walls, they pop out a bow and fire an
arrow. Wait until they fire an arrow and retreat, then freeze them
quickly when they reappear. Most of them appear above your height
so don't cause much of a problem.

BIRDS - Seagull lite. They don't poo and don't really dive toward you, the
only harm they cause is if you accidently jump into them. Kill them
       for Key Parts however.

BUNNIES - Very fast yet easy to take down, just have quick reactions before
they run into you. You should see them coming, but always aware
         of their apparence.

CRITTERS - These appear out of withered old trees in the out door stages.
They cannot be killed so just leap over them as they run toward you.
Every time you see a tree, just watch your back for these guys.

DRIPS - These are quick and tiny, and cause problems. If you see one leap it
and turn around and freeze them. Due to their size you need to keep
your distance with pellets, but just keep cool and try your upmost to
       avoid them.

FISH - Only appearing in Stage 8, they jump out of the water. They can be
froze with a single pellet and give out Key Parts, so just freeze them
in the air and they'll smash in the water. If there is a Part, it'll
      float toward you.

MICE - These guys just wonder around and don't attack, and take a small
handful of pellets to dispose. Only a hassle when they get in the way
      with other enemies.

SHIELDS - These have shields on their front that block pellets. They turn
around at platform edges, and can be leaped, so do either and a
         single pellet with freeze them.

SPIDERS - These are slow and leap toward you. Just stand in front of them
and spam pellets. They don't even leap that far so you don't need to
be that far away to be safe, not to mention pretty rare to boot.

----------
Underwater
----------

BOUNCERS - These hop toward your location, and take about three pellets to
freeze. Keep your distance and watch your head if there are ledges
above you, as they follow you around!

CLAMS - Again not enemies but items to bounce you up. Press Jump as you land on
it for it to spring you upward.

CRABS - Annoying as they are quite small, so fire pellets at them from a slight
distance. They are often behind walls in passages, so pellet ahead to
ensure you don't bump into any.

EEL - This guy is a nightmare. Appearing only in Stage 12, he guards the Key
hole. Stepping onto the slime makes him appear, so lure him out and spam
pellets and Orbs. He will spit out tiny fishes which can be pelleted,
hopefully by the spamming you are doing. Chances are you'll lose a life
here, but just keep pelleting and dodging until you defeat him.

GUPPIES - Swim around aimlessly, just get in front of them and a couple of
         pellets will see them off.

SHELLS - These bounce in the water across without any real aim. Get behind them
and freeze them. If one is advancing toward you, then get out of the
way as their size for freezing and avoiding is too tricky to get right
        in most circumstances.

STARIES - Kinda starfish in shape but have a snorkel, these are fairly quick
enemies that follow you when they see you, otherwise just bounce
along. They stop and start, so when they are stopping leap toward
them and freeze before they can get moving again.

TURTLES - Actually not enemies, but can be rode to far sides of the screen.
If you want an easy way to get from one side of the stage to another
         then this is it!

---------------------
Rainforest and Temple
---------------------

ARCHERS - Appearing out of the background, they pop out a bow and fire an
arrow. Wait until they fire an arrow and retreat, then freeze them
quickly when they reappear. Note that they appear randomally either
side of you, so always be on the lookout.

BATS - Winged creatures that fly linearly toward you, often in groups. Jump up
and pellet as you rise then fall to hopefully clear them in one jump.
They'll drop and smash as soon as they freeze, making these rather
simple enemies as long as you catch them in time.

CATERPILLERS - These drop from platforms and scurry across the ground.
Aim to freeze them as they fall, otherwise chase them and
              freeze them.

CATS - These sprint across the stage - either freeze them from a distance,
as they are running toward you, otherwise jump over them and give chase,
      firing pellets as you go.

GROUND PIRANA - Hard to see, they are Pac-Man looking semi-circles on the
ground that spirt pellets. As per usual, keep away and fire
               until it is frozen.

MECHANICAL WONDER - The boss of stage two, it has two parts you must destroy -
the head and tail. From the front, attack the head and
wait for it to jump. When it lands it will spit fireballs
that ignite on the ground. Once they head is done for,
wait for another leap and run underneath to the otherside
and attack the tail. Arrows will randomally shoot out of
the back, so keep your distance and get ready to jump up
whenever one comes you way. Once that is done, the wonder
collapses and villagers stream out. They will fire arrows
when they jump, so stay down when they do, but otherwise
keep spamming pellets at the torso of the beast until it
                   disappears.

PARROTS - Sitting there and do not do much, the only real harm is when you
         run into them.

POGO MONKEY - These slowly bounce toward you, often in pairs. From a distance
pellet them until they are icey dust. They will rarely creep
             up on you.

SHAMAN - These can create Villagers from out of thin area. If you come across
these take him out as soon as possible. If he is already in a group,
or if you leave it so long as there are a huddle of villagers around
him, find some high ground and pellet away until they automatically
break and that he is on his own, ready for popping.

SNAKE - Only making an appearance in Stage 17, stand at head height and jump
between every projectile and spam pellets at the same time. Each
projectile fired is rather routine, so just get into a pattern until
       he is done for.

VILLAGERS - These walk around and fire arrows. Wait until they fire an arrow,
leap and spam pellets until they freeze. Smash away.

--------------
Floating Isles
--------------

N/A

------
Desert
------

FLAMERS - These are bouncing balls that transform into humanoid figures
every so often. You can run underneath their bounces, otherwise
keep back until it transforms and pellet away.
IMP - These are flying creatres that travel toward you, stopping occasionally
to shoot a fireball toward you. Spot them early and a couple of pellets
will see them crashing to the ground.

MOLES - These shoot out of the ground and send fireballs around - as soon
as you see them appear, just leg it past their holes.

MUMMIES - Like smaller versions of Travellers, these are quick to freeze
but thaw just as quickly. Run into them when you have the chance.
Note that they spawn rather quickly as well, so clear them as they
appear in order to avoid getting overwhelmed.

TRAVELLERS - These just move back and forth - keep a distance and hit 'em with
around six pellets each the freeze.
