-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It began when the evil Arvians, aided by robot drones programmed to destroy,
struck without warning. In days, the three worlds of your solar system were
under siege. One ship escaped capture...yours. Now only you have the power to
return freedom to the solar system. That's because you have BLADE Eagle, the
most powerful one-man fighter in the fleet. You'll need every trick in the book
to maneuver through 9 levels of the most true-to-life 3-D battleground ever
created...and hordes of virtually indestructible mechanical monstrosities. The
odds are a million to one against success. Anyone taking bets?

STORY
o---------------------o
The date was 2888 A.D.. After centuries of interplanetary negotiations, the
galaxy was at peace.
Almost.
The last vote at the United Planetary Federation for peace was 1467 for a
controlled peaceful coexistence and 1 world voting against. The exception was
the planet Arvian. Warlike in nature, the Arvians had a nasty habit of invading
other worlds.
To monitor the Arvians, a peacekeeping organization was formed. Called Border
Line Arvian Detection and Enforcement, or BLADE for short, this squadron of
specially designed fighters were organized to keep watch over the activities
of the Arvians.
In a sudden brutal attack, the Arvians destroyed the body of the BLADE fleet
and took over three worlds. You escaped... and now it's you against all of them!
Your job is to restore peace by destroying the rebellious robots and then defea-
ting the boss Arvians on each of the three worlds. Only then will the galaxy
return to its peaceful state.

GAMEPLAY
o---------------------o
-You die by getting shot or collision with an enemy or object.
-There are 3 worlds: Triton, Proxima, and Mira. They are each divided into 3
world sections: Outer Space, Planet's Surface, and Inside the Arvian Fortress.
-The outer section consists of enemies awaiting your approach so they can ambush
you. The planet's surface has building that you must avoid crashing into as you
avoid enemy fire. The Arvian Fortress has the natiest of enemies and it'll all
end with a one-on-one duel with the fortress boss.
-You do not get extra lives for getting lots of points.
-Collect Shadows to add an extra ship to the mix. You can have up to 2 of these
on the screen. A good thing to note is that if you get killed, you can control
the Shadow as if it's an extra life within itself.
-Collect the S to Speed Up and collect the P to power up your weapon. Power up
to 3 times for maximam weapons. Any additional ones will kill all on-screen
enemies.
-If it looks like you are trapped with nowhere to go, you can actually use the 1
button to change altitude to get yourself out of a jam.
-Lose all lives and the game is over.
-Some enemies can only be shot on certain planes or else shots will go through
them.
-Enter the following code on the title screen to do a level select: Down, Right,
Up, Left, Down.

WALKTHROUGH
o---------------------o
I'm not going to bore you with meaningless detail, I'll just tell you the boss
and miniboss strategies. Minbosses are can be encountered on different levels so
I only exclusify the bosses to the worlds and the minibosses will be outside of
the section. The smaller enemies you face are stuff I can't help you with as
they all depend on your dodging skills in this case. Some will fly in an offer
no resistance and others such as the Clingon and Rotators will shoot bullets at
you. The longer you survive, the faster and tougher the enemies get. However, if
you got the right kind of firepower, the bosses and miniboss will be pushovers
no matter what.
Robo Master - All they do is shoot two missiles downward when vertically level
with you. You can stay in front of it and shoot then dodge to the side once you
bait them into shooting.
Swirlite - These guys ain't so tough. Just like the Robo Master, you can stay in
front of it and fight it. Your shots will destroy whatever it shoots at you.
Graviton - Stay far away from it as you attack it. They fire multiple bullets
that fly in an arc. Maneuver yourself to avoid them within the space left in
between them.
Orb - These guys rotate around the room and shoot multiple-direction bullets.
Proton Flux Generator - Once you have the laser shot, you can destroy this thing
quickly as all it does is rotate.
Quark Emmitter - They arrive as six small bits then form together to form a more
giant size version of themselves. You can stand in front of it and shoot at it
as your shots will destroy whatever it shoots at you.
==Triton==
The surface is made out of water and along the way you will see some structures
that can kill you if you crash into them so watch out for those when you are
avoiding enemy fire. The Clingons are the worst enemies you have to worry about
because they are the ones who fire the most bullets out of all enemies. This
applies to all surface levels and Arvian Fortresses.
Also one thing to note about Arvian Fortresses is that you can also crash into
the walls and die. Some parts of the levels are forks that can limit your space
to avoid enemies.
Helixoid is a pushover. It comes out with orbs surrounding it. By now you should
have a laser and anything it shoots at you will be destroyed by your fire and
that includes the orbs surrounding it. It will fall easily.
==Proxima==
On the planetary surface, there are no walls for you to worry about here.
You will not fight Spheroid as a single enemy boss. This boss fight consists of
multiple Spheroids flying around the screen and shooting single bullets each.
You must defeat all the Spheroids to win this fight and advance to Mira.
==Mira==
On the planetary surface, you got to avoid crashing into the towers.
Banshee is the game's final boss and boy does it live up to its status. Banshee
will shoot some spark bullets that are hard to avoid but if you move back and
forth across the bottom of the screen you should be alright. Some of the sparks
it spits out can be destroyed by your fire especially if you got the wide-range
Particle Beam.
