I. Intro

The game Hook is based on the film and it's a pretty bad translation. The
graphics are alright but the slow speed and choppy controls keep bringing
down the fun, plus the game is pretty short. I also think that they should have
used more of the SNES abilities like using more buttons.

II. Story

Peter Pan has grown up to be a cut-throat merger and acquisitions
lawyer, and is married to Wendy's granddaughter. Captain Hook
kidnaps his children, and Peter returns to Never Land with Tinkerbell. With
the help of her and the Lost Boys, he must remember how to be Peter Pan
again in order to save his children by battling with Captain Hook once again.

V. Walkthrough

|Level 1|
+-------+

Walk forward and whack the first two kids (its only training so they can't die),
then jump over the spikes and go forward. Hit the swarm of bees before they hit
you, than hit the guy in the bushes. Walk a bit back and run and jump to reach
the platform above the water, grab the cherry and jump over the water. Get the
other cherry if you need it. You can kill that fat kid by hitting him two times.
Go further and get the fly power, then fly over the gap, fly trough the lower
part to get some extra lives if you want to but it isn't really easy and you'll
have to hurry up before your power runs out.

Boss
Easy, jump over him when he comes charging at you and then hit him, do this
2 more times and it's done. After you beat him you'll get his sword

|Level 2|
+-------+

So now you can shoot with your sword, but if you get hit once you'll lose it
again. Anyway, kill the hedgehog and walk to the right, jump in the first tree
to get some extra health, try not to hit the hives and go down. Kill another
hedgehog and jump over the spikes, than take the upper path and get the cherry
if you need it, jump in the tree and kill the archer, you can bounce of the
arrows by hitting them, keep going to the right by the trees and kill the
pirate and spider. Than kill the pirate and the two archers and get the apple,
go further to the right killing all the pirates until you see the extra life
in the tree, kill the bat and the pirate beneath it and get the extra life,
watch out that you don't fall in the gap though. Go further to the right and
kill the bats that are going down. Than follow the last strait forward path
to reach the boss.

Boss

The first thing to do is to stand in the save spot in the left corner, the boss
will come out of holes in the tree at random places. Also there will be boxing
gloves popping out at random places. In the meantime there will be ancorns
falling down the tree but if you stand in the left corner they can't hit you.
Thething to do is wait until he comes out of a hole near you and then hit him.
If you have the long sword than its even easier because you can stand on the
savespot and shoot at the boss when he comes out of the hole (if you have
enough time).

|Level 3|
+-------+

Quickly walk to the right to avoid getting a rock on your head and kill the
guy on one wheel, than kill the guy who is throwing the rocks. Climb up a bit,
the weird things with an fairy floating above them will hit you when you jump
over them, but you can also just walk past them. Than go up some more, kill the
guy that is throwing rocks and again go up, than you will come across some
archers with flaming arrows, the flames won't go away immediately so you'll
haveto wait until the fires are out. Kill another guy on a wheel and an archer
andthen go to the right to get an apple if you need it. Go up a bit more until
you find the thinkerbell, load up your flying power and than fly totally up,
go to the right and you've finished the level.

|Level 4|
--------+

Load up the flying power in the beginning of the level and go to the right,
watch out for the tiger, if he hits you you'll be frozen for a period of time.
Go further to the right and jump of the cliff. Fly on the bottom part of the
level and load up your flying power in the middle of the level, than fly down
to get a leaf, watch out for the guy in the flying balloon and load up your
power again by the last fairy down the level and go up. Walk a bit to the right
andkill the guys in the balloons, then take a swim, there watch out that you
don't get hit by mines or that you drown. Although the mermaids are handy just
watch out that they don't push you in the mines. You can get rid of the mines
by hitting them. Then when you reach the land quickly load up your power.

Boss

The next boss sits in a giant flying ship, you can only hit him them when one
of them puts there head out of the ship. The heads can come out of three places
, from under, left or right, meanwhile the ship floats around and you have to
jump or fly over him. When the ship first appears a head will come out of the
left side, hit him and quickly go to the other side. Then hopefully the head
will come out on the right side so you can hit it, than go back to the other
side again and try to hit from there. If you still didn't kill it than you'll
have to load up and go to the other side again. This boss requires three hits.

|Level 5|
+-------+

Go to the right and kill the snake, then go down and watch out that you don't
stand on the quicksand for to long. Get the flying power and go to the right,
you can go under the wall at the end to get some extra lives and some energy.
You can go up in one of the two gaps although the left one is easier. After
that kill the bats and watch out for the falling rocks, swim trough the water
killing the snakes and fishes. When you get out of the water kill the bat and
jump in the right gap if you want another extra life. If you don't than take
the left one because that's easier. Go to the right and kill the snakes on your
path, also be careful for the falling rocks. Than load up your flying power
again and go up.

|Level 6|
+-------+

You can only hit those pirates who have shields when they turn around. Jump over
the gap and kill the pirate, walk to the right and jump over the next gap.
Quickly jump over the snowball that is rolling down and kill the guy who threw
it at you. Grab the extra life and go further to the right. Jump over the gaps
till you reach a split, go down to get an extra leaf. Go back and go up, go to
the right and kill the bird. Watch out that the tigers don't freeze you,
especially when you jumping over the spikes. Go further and kill some pirates,
then go down and get the apple, go up and kill another pirate. Go up the
mountain and jump over the snowballs, then kill the guy who threw them and go
to the right. Quickly go down before you get some more snowballs on your back
and kill the three pirates, after that go to the right and jump over the gaps.

Boss

The only way to hit this guy is to get the bombs that come out of his machine
fall on his head. So try to hit the bombs when they are floating over his head.
To get them there, jump over him, if you did it right the bomb will float a bit
over his head, hit him three times and then its over.

|Level 7|
+-------+

Start the level by charging up your flying power. Go to the left and try to
save your flying powers by jumping from tree to tree. When the screen goes up
its just not possible anymore and you'll have to fly, load up your flying power
again by the next fairy and fly to the right underneath the air balloon. Then
quickly stand on the next tree before your power runs out. Kill the guy in the
air balloon and load up your power again. Fly underneath the air balloon and
get the extra life if you think you have enough time for it, load up your power
again and go further to the left. Try to stay up a bit this time so you can
float over the balloon and load up your power again, there is another fairy a
bit to the left again, skip that one and just jump over the last few trees

|Level 8|
+-------+

If you hit the flame the level will get dark, the problem is that if you don't
hit the flame it can hit you so keep the flame a bit away from you but not
totally out of the screen. Kill the pirate and jump over the flame, load up
your flying power and go totally to the right to get an extra life. Go back to
theleft and go down the first gap, kill the bat and go to the right, go down and
killthe two pirates. Wait for the flame and go to the left again and go down.
Jump over the spikes and kill the bat and pirate, do down and go slowly to the
left again so that the flame doesn't leave the screen, go down the hole, jump
over the spikes and kill the pirate and bat. After that go to the left again
and go down. Kill the skeleton but beware that it'll come back again after a
while. Go down after going to the right and watch out for the spikes, this is a
good time to use your flying power to slow down. When you reach the bottom, load
up your flying power and go to the left to get a apple. Then go back up and go
to left. Kill the skeleton and go to the left, than kill another and go down.
Than go to the right into the first tunnel you can. Walk further past the snake
and walk trough a hidden wall. After you fell down wait until the flame is back
and go the right, jump over the spikes and go down, quickly kill the guys on
one wheel and jump over the gap. Kill the frog and the other animals and go down
, put out the flame if it comes to close. Than go to the right again and get the
cherry if you need it. Go down and go to the left to reach the boss.

Boss

The next boss is a skeleton, he'll throw his head at you right at the start, the
head will home in on you but you only have to hit it once to make it stop and go
back to the body. To hurt him you have to hit him in his back. To do this you'll
have to wait until he throws his head at you and than quickly jump over the head
and his body. Than you can hit him in the back. Do this a few times until he's
death (again).

|Level 9|
+-------+


Walk to the right and kill the archer and the other pirates, watch out for the
hive and keep on going to the right, jump over the next two hives and go inside
the warehouse. Kill the two archers and take the upper path, get the apple after
killing the guy with the boomerang. Than go down and jump over the spikes to
exit this part of the level. Quickly go to the right to avoid getting a bomb on
your head, kill the guy on one wheel and than kill the guy that threw the bomb.
than go to the right and kill two other bomb throwers. Jump over the spikes and
kill another one, then go into another warehouse. Jump over the spikes and exit
at the end, than kill the guy who throws the boomerang and quickly run to the
right and jump over the spikes.


Boss

This is another boss that you can only in the back, there is an apple lying a
bit above and there is some flying power, load up a bit so you can fly over him
a little bit easier. Wait until the boss comes at you and then jump over him
and hit him in the back. After that go up so its easier to avoid him, hit him
in the back a few times and he's death, remember that you can use your flying
power to avoid him.

|Level 10|
+--------+

Run to the right and jump over the spikes and into the ship, go to the right
an kill the pirates, and jump over the platforms. Than jump over the platforms
again to reach the exit. Walk a bit to the right so that you don't get a barrel
on your head, stand there until the guy on the wheel comes by and then kill
him.After that kill the guy that throws the barrels and go to the right and
exit. Jump over the spikes and go down. Go to the left and kill the archer.
If want a leaf than go trough the left exit. After that go trough the right
exit. Quickly load up your flying power and go up a little so you still
stand under the guy with the gun and then kill him from there so that the other
gunner isn't on the screen yet. Then fly up quick and kill the other gunner.
After that get the extra life and quickly go in the upper exit (the other one
goes back to the beginning). Charge up your flying powers again and fly to the
right over the spikes. Sometimes its better to kill an enemy and then going
back to load up your power again. Once you're done with that go to the right
and load up your power again and fly over all the enemies, go to the right to
exit. Now you're standing on the ship and one of the lost boys will get rid
of the pirates for you.

Captain Hook 1

The only time when you can hit him is when he gets ready to hit you. So wait
until he readies his sword and then hit him quick. If you stand in the left
corner he won't even be able to hit you. After you hit him a few times he'll
fall off the ship.

Captain Hook 2

When the fight starts captain hook will immediately launch his hook at you,
quickly jump over it and hit him. You will have to hit him two more times until
his hook falls off, just use the same tactic. After his hook falls off you have
to use the same tactic as in the last fight, hit him another three times and he
is death.

Enjoy the ending sequence.
