Explanation
--------------------------------------------------------------
The purpose of this FAQ is to give you a chance to get through
the tedious menus of Anarchy In The Nippon. It doesn't
contain any combos, movelists, or voice translations at all.
This strictly is for the various menus in the game.

Please note that I do not speak Japanese, so all of the info I
have documented is all via guess and test, trial and error,
and peanut butter and jelly tactics.

Status Mode Explanation
------------------------
Expect to be overwhelmed when you choose this mode, I still am.
You don't really need to worry about it too much, but I'll
explain what I _think_ it does.
Status Mode works like an RPG in the sense that you can make
a character level up various attributes (speed, strength, etc).
I really have no idea how it works or how to use it, so I
obviously don't use it at all. If you know, email me!
Controller Setup
------------------------
Cycle through the list of preset control schemes or create your
own using the last scheme on the list. Just remember:
Yellow: Guard
Red: Punch
Blue: Kick
Green: Sidestep
There are three flavors of sidestep...
The first one you come across defaults to sidestepping up, but
if you hold down whilepressing the sidestep button, you'll
(magically) sidestep down.
The second you'll see on the list is sidestep left.
Finally you'll see sidestep right.
Extra Option
------------------------
I haven't found out what most of these options do because when I
modify them, I can't see any difference in gameplay! If you know
what these do, please email me! I have a suspicion that they are
used in the Status Mode...

I hate this game. ;)

I really hope this FAQ helped you in your quest to playing AITN!
I know I was overwhelmed when I first got the game and was
greeted with menu after menu of kanji! Bye bye!
Oh yeah, don't steal my FAQ... email me if you want to use it.
Don't worry, I'll say yes.
