There are just several things I must note about this guide:

1) This guide was originally written for the Japanese version of the game.
But while I have left all Japanese names of items, materials, and
descriptions of the quest givers (as they had no names in the JP version)
intact, I have updated all my original English translations to the offi-
cial ones from XSEED's localization with the obvious exception of the
quest givers.

I more or less left the requests alone though since they get the point
across. :P

I should note that I am NOT fluent in Japanese so there may be some errors
here and there. I do my best to be as accurate as possible. In cases
where something just sounds too strange to be translated literally, I do
a gist-of/loose translation.

2) I am NOT affiliated with Falcom or XSEED. I am merely a fan of Ys SEVEN
and having noted that, be aware that this guide is a **non-profit, fan-
made piece of work **.

It is all right to post this at your site or distribute freely without my
consent, but it is **NOT** all right to modify it in any way, sell it (by
itself or on some compilation CD with other walkthroughs/guides, etc.), or
to claim ownership of it.

3) [CQI] CRUCIAL QUEST INFORMATION
==============================================================================

In order to succeed in completing all the quests, there are a few important
and noteworthy things the player should know!

1) For the majority of quests, you are EXPECTED to obtain AND complete them
before a certain point in the game. These conditions are listed in each
quest. Failing to finish or obtain a quest nets you a big fat FAILED
stamp for the corresponding missed quest.

2) For multiple item requests, you can drop off the different kinds of items
at any time as long as all of them are handed over before the whole "Com-
plete By" point (if applicable).

For example, for Quest No. 2, if you procured a quantity of 10 of the
Spring Water, you can go and speak to the bartender and he'll immediately
hand over some cash. This works well if you need money, I guess. :P

3) HOW TO HAND OVER MULTIPLE QUEST ITEMS TO A REQUESTER
----------------------------------------------------
There will be an option under the first one (which is Talk (話す)) that
looks something like the following:

『 Materials/item type requested 』を渡す

Select it and you will be presented with a list of the necessary materials
that you currently have in possession. If you have the required quantity,
the phrase following the material/item name will be [譲渡可能]. If not, it
will be [数不足]. In the English version, this is indicated by the
words (need more) which follows the material name.

If another question comes up after you choose something to give to the re-
quester, select the top option to proceed to give him or her what he or she
wants.

As for anything that has already been handed over, the material/item name
will have a [譲渡済み] after it.

in various regions once the party returns from Edona (エドナの故地) --
i.e. they are regular enemies & not the bosses or the giant enemies from
quests 18 - 20.

However, it's possible to get one of each BEFORE that point in the game by
finding them in chests located in the Segram Desert (セグラム砂漠), Kylos
Gorge (カイロス峡谷), and The Holy Precincts of Wind (風の聖地) respectively:

:: For the Titano Bone in Segram Desert ::

This is located in the north area of the Segram Desert: East. To get here
from Segram Village, just keep going all the way to the east until you're
force to head up a small ramp. Then just continue northward.

If you're heading here from the Flame Shrine: Entrance, just run past the
Sandeater titano to the next screen. Then it's like a U in that you go
south, go west, and then directly head north when you have the chance.

You'll know you're in the correct location if there is a harvest point for
Iron Ore and Hot Sandstone on the left side of the screen with a chest next
to it and another chest farther away on the right side. The Bone is in
the chest on the right.

:: For the Titano Spine in Kylos Gorge ::

It's located in the cave in Kylos Gorge: Northwest. From Altago Plains:
Gorge Way, keep heading in the westward direction until you get to
the northwest side of the Gorge. From there, go to the cave with a
stone marker/road sign in front of it.

Once inside, turn right. There should be a Bartalos (ogre thing with an
axe) and a Bufrol (a ram) milling around. The chest you're looking for
is against the wall on the right.

From Kylos Village, head across the bridge (the one in the Northwest area not
inside the village) and keep going south until forced to go north.

:: For the Titano Fluid in The Holy Precincts of Wind ::

From the entrance area, make your way through the next area. Since there's
no other exits, I hope it's obvious where you're supposed to go.

Once inside the area that looks like a T on the map (if you're not sure,
hit the Select button), head toward the east exit. If you can't get to the
higher level floor because you don't have the item that lets you ride the
wind from the grates, then head west and get it first.

At any rate, on this next room, you should encounter a Almora-Jiks (head-
less armor with a giant mace. I'm just mentioning the monster as a landmark
of sorts). Go to the grate to the northwest and keep following the path
until you get to the spot with the two rolling spiked logs.

Remove the Wind Cape and drop down. The chest is near the fence in the middle
of the logs. (Becareful not to stand too close to the traps because your
characters will still take damage from them.)

Now while you CAN technically get here from the stone monument from the Wind
Altar, you will need to use a skill (such as Aisha's Skywinder) that can pro-
pel you across a gap located at a certain part of this area. It's also
possible to dash or roll your way across but it may take several tries and
luck. :P

available then, talk to Michael after defeating the first boss.

item from Tia, Aisha must have joined the party first. I'm uncertain if you
must speak to Tia first before leaving Altago City though.)

WHEN QUEST IS OBTAINABLE:

After receiving the General's -- *NOT* the King's -- Letter (将軍の書状) but
before the cave boss, Gilda Ros (ギルダロス), is defeated. (Well, duh ...)
Basically, if Adol and friends have already arrived at Segram Village
(セグラムの里) but you didn't speak to Kevin beforehand, then you lost your
chance at this quest.

* For this quest, you are required to bring items to the deity statue at the
entrance of the Shannoa Forest (シャヌアの森). It must be done in the order
listed. After each offering, return to Carol and she will hand over th
corresponding payment and tell you what the next offering will be.

She will give the party 2 Kamika Nuts to start things off. If you've been
harvesting materials along the way to the village, you probably have more
than enough nuts for the offering.

Note that the White Snake Ring can be obtained for free from a treasure chest

Found near the path leading to the Kylos Gorge: Southeast.
(カイロス峡谷・南東部). To get there, go back to the cave that the party
passed through to get to Kylos (the one where, upon exiting, Geis shows up),
go through it, and after exiting, follow the right path up the incline. The
earrings are at the tall plant next to the rock.

Cute Earrings** (可愛らしい耳飾り)
Found in the cave before the party encountered Geis. Follow the left wall to
the two rays of light. The earrings are found at the first one.

* Look for a speech balloon with a question mark for each location listed
above. While it doesn't matter what order you find the earrings, you actually
only need to find one particular pair of earrings to complete the quest.
However, the moment you present them to the father, it will end. This means
that you will miss out on the other remaining earrings.

BTW, these items are accessories so you can equip them.

** These are the ones you're looking for. But, as mentioned in the previous
note, bringing this to the father will end the quest. Please be aware that
the Cute Earrings disappear from inventory.

1) Found in the Shrine of Origins (始まりの祠) in the room where Adol and Dogi
fought the two-headed turtle boss. There is a stone monument just south
of the room, BTW.

2) Found in Shannoa Forest (シャヌアの森) in the enclosed area where the giant
boar boss was. Like the above, there is an obelisk just outside the area.

3) Found at the northern tip at the end the deep water path just before ente-
ring the Earth Altar (地の祭壇). If you teleport to the Ancient Tree
(シャヌアの大樹) monument, head south and take the water path that goes
west.

4) Found at the Cave Byway (洞窟間道) where the boss was. To quickly get
here, warp to the Cave Byway: End (洞窟間道・終点) monument.

5) Found in room where the first boss was in the Flame Shrine (炎の神殿).
To get there, head to the area with the elevator, ride the elevator up and
then head north to the next screen.

6) Found in the western area of the Wilderness (荒野). Easiest way to get to
it is to warp to the Cave Byway(洞窟間道前), head east toward the
Wilderness entrance. Once there, keep going east and at the intersection,
continue eastward. On the map, you should see a section of the southern
area overlap a bit with the bottom area. The pikkard is near the tip of
it.

7) Found in the Moonlight Path (月影の道). To find it, enter from the east
entrance of the Cave Bypath (洞窟間道) and follow the path all the way
north. Go west, ignore the intersection that splits between north and
south, and continue westward all the way to the end. The pikkard will be
around the area with the stalagmites.

* You can find them in any order but can only carry one pikkard at a time.
Once you have one, warp back to Segram Village and speak to Zak to drop it
off. I realize that there's a good chance that many players won't have cer-
tain warp/heal stones reactivated (like the one from the Shrine of Ori-
gins) but I decided to make note of them for the benefit of those that did.
