This game has a total of 3 stories two of them which follows the Shippuuden
story arcs. The main characters of the game are Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke
Uchiha but more than 75% of the game follows Naruto's story.

Naruto's story [Str03p1]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2 and a half years have passed since Naruto left his village in order to train
with his master called Jiraiya. Now that he is back, he appears to have become
even stronger but not very smarter. He is reunited with his old teammate Sakura
Haruno and his Sensei, Kakashi Hatake. Now that Naruto passed his training he
is ready to go out on missions with his sensei and teammate, but it seems that
trouble has just begin as it seems that a stranger is attacking the Sand Village
in order to kidnap the new fifth Kazekage, Gaara.

Sasuke's Story [Str03p2]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2 and a half years ago, Sasuke Uchiha one of the last survivors of the Uchiha
clan left his village to train with Orochimaru, one of the sannin and Jiraiya's
old teammate. Now, he appears to have gotten very strong and is even betraying
Orochimaru and leaving him. He recruits some of Orochimaru's minions in order
to help him hunt down and kill his older brother, Itachi Uchiha.

Due to the fact that the game is in Japanese, many people might be stuck
right in the menu. So here is a translation to the menus.
1. Story Mode

Here, you can view and play the story of the game. Inside you will see some
boxes with sub boxes in them. The front box is the story arc and the sub
boxes are chapters from the arcs so this makes it clear. Press the start
button to view a menu with the following options:

4. Save
5. Quit
This should be enough to help you get around.
2. Wireless mode

Here, you can play online battles with you friends. This section contains
the following options:

This place will be empty if you don't have any money. Whenever you get
enough money shown below at the screen this tree will grow and stuff will
come up eventually. Here is what you will se there:

Here are all the settings of the game. Here you can change:

Note: Some rages count as different characters but still they can't be accessed
at the character selection screen. The characters marked as * means that they
are an awakening of a character.

Team jutsu:
---------------------------------------
Team jutsu can be performed if a character has a relation to another
character. (like Naruto and Jiraiya, Orochimaru and Sasuke, Itachi and Kisame
and so on.) This is indicated with a line conecting the two characters that
can be easily seen. If the characters are too far away from each other then
the team jutsu can't be performed.
Element jutsu:

Element jutsu means a character with a character with specific nature types
that create unique jutsu but some jutsu combinations need to be made by
collecting jutsu scrolls in the story mode.

This list will explain you all the enemies and traps in the game:
Traps:

There are two types of traps created by using some weird jutsu, we first begin
with the traps:
Exploding trap - A purple colored circle that moves back and ford. Explodes
when getting to close
Shuriken trap - A giant shuriken that through little shuriken at you
Enemies:

During the side scrolling stages you will encounter some enemies that will
attack you on the way.
Leaf ninja with tools - One of the first enemies to appear. They are leaf
ninja who carry backs with weapons.
Crows - Blac birds. Very easy to kill.
Leaf ninja blade master - A leaf ninja that holds two swords with him. If
close he will use them.
Leaf ninja - Just a Leaf ninja that throws weapons at you.
Bandit - A shirtless bandit that punches.
Bandit with blade - A bandit with a big blade.
Bandit with tools - A bandit that uses ninja tools.
Combat bandit - Bandit with a hat on his back. Uses taijutsu.
Puppet bandit - A masked bandit with a puppet but uses a kunai.
Demon wind bandit - Bandit that carries a demon wind shuriken.
Deidara's C1 birds - The exploding clay birds that Deidara creates.
Experiments - Ugly experiments located at Orochimaru's labs.

Paper bomb kunai - A kunai that explodes when touching an enemie
1000 Shadows shuriken - A pack with multiple shuriken
Poison bomb - When hitting the enemie, it drain their life for a short
period of time
Weight of gut - Decreases the enemie's speed
Random ball - This bomb will either blow, put out poison or do nothing
Demon wind shuriken - A giant shuriken
Bottle of water - A bottle when thrown will let out water and will slow down
the enemie
Purple ball - Creates a small space where enemies are stuck for a short time.
Hidden spikes - Spikes that the enemie can step on
Kakashi figure - Automatically performs the Substitution Jutsu whenever your
opponent attacks you. Does not work against items thrown at you.
Curse seal (Armor break) - Lowers the opponents defense for a few seconds.
Curse seal (Chakra seal) - Seals the opponents chakra for a few seconds.

After 2 and a half years, Naruto Uzumaki returns to his village. He is now

Stage 1: Training
--------------------------------------------

Reward: 500 NP
As you start run right and hop on the tree. Get the NP bonus then jump down.
Kill the first enemie and continue. At the swamp throw some shurikens at the
bandit and get on the tree. Get some NP and go down. Don't fall at the mud or
your speed will decrease. Jump on the hills and get some NP then the bandit.
On the road you will see more NP and bandits. Now 5 should be down. Climb the
wall and get the NP, don't fall or you lose health. Defeat the bandit and
get the NP on the tree. Along the way you should beat all the bandits.
Stage 2: Leaf village brawl

Just get pass the stage and fight off the crows. Make sure to watch out for
the exploding traps here.
Stage 3: Kakashi's test

Kakashi is very easy. All he does is jump towards you so beat him up.
Stage 4: Sakura's challenge

Sakura is a terrible fighter. Well in this fight she proves it but ok just
take her down.

Deidara won't stand much of a fight here especially because you are two and
he is one. Beat him up good and get ready for the next stage.
Stage 2: To the Sand

Pretty much like the first few stages but only there are traps here.
Stage 3: Sandstorm desert

Now you are in the middle of the desert. As you reach the quicksand, wait for
the trap to shoot then quickly jump at the other side. Get over the hill and
kill the bandit but be careful because of the trap. Keep going and avoiding
the traps. Before the exit you will see a gate and now the level will be clear.
Stage 4: The new team Guy

We are introduced to the new fully matured (almost) team Guy. Now enjoy
beating the same stage from before.
Stage 5: Team Guy Vs. Kisame pt.1

Here you will fight two Kisames. A little advice about this fight, make sure
to attack one of the Kisames and finish him off then, beat the other one
because he will be too busy fighting TenTen.
Stage 6: Team Guy Vs. Kisame pt.2

Opponent: Kisame & clone

Just like the previous battle, take down one of them and beat the other one
but make sure that one of the Kisames is busy fighting Lee or you can just

Okay you are playing as Shikamaru against your desire but Naruto is easy

Here you will have to do a 10 hit combo to Kakashi in order to beat him.
Do this with Naruto by using a fully charged Rasengan then beat him down.

It's time to face Shizune and no she isn't tough at all even with her upgraded
speed.

Oh boy I really like the way Guy sits and let's you beat him to a pulp. Easy
victory.
Level challenge 1:

It's the Uchiha clan slayer, Itachi. Now I know he is really cool but he
is very weak in this fight. There is not much to say just beat him up and
go to the next stage.
Stage 3: The hideout's location

The same forest as before with the same enemies and same strategies.
Stage 4: The five seal barrier

Very short stage. You only have 25 seconds to beat it but don't worry
just get passed the hill, kill some enemies then move at the lake. Jump over
the trap and you will see the hideout.
Stage 5: Locating the seals

2. Beat the stage before times up
Reward: 2000 NP
Kill the crows and jump on the hill then climb the wall. Kill some enemies
then walk over the bridge. Kill the next enemie then go up by the hill. Go left
then you will see a pit. Wait for the stone to fall and do a substitution
jutsu to get over it. Jump over the trap then go up and right. Cross this
bridge too and then climb the walls ahead. Jump over the pits (you can climb
back if you fall.) then go up and then right. Kill the Army of crows ahead
and cross the last bridge with the enemie and trap. You will see the exit now.
Stage 6: The trap

Reward: 2500 NP
It seems that by removing the seals Guy released some kind of trap. Now
about the fight I think it's very easy because the clone sits in one place
and waits for you to attack it.
Battle challenge 1:

Opponents: Naruto & Sakura
1. Win the fight
2. Land a 10 hit combo
3. Fight while opponents are with increased strength
Reward: 1500 NP
Attack both the opponents at once by landing a combo to perform the 10 hit
condition then the rest if up to you.
Battle challenge 2:

Opponent: TenTen
1. Win the fight
2. Fight with 0 chakra
Reward: 1500 NP
For some reason you don't have any chakra here but you can recharge it by
holding the triangle button. First knock out TenTen and recharge. When you
have full chakra, finish her off.
Battle challenge 3:

Opponents: Neji & TenTen
1. Win the fight
Reward: 500 NP
Very simple battle. Make sure to take down Neji first because he is more
aggressive.
Battle challenge 4:
--------------------------------------------
Opponents: Kakashi & Guy
1. Win the fight
2. Land a 10 hit combo
3. Enemies can use team jutsu
Reward: 1500 NP
Now this fight might be more interesting. In this fight the opponents seem
more aggressive and will attack you at the same time. You might want to use
a secret technique here.

ACT III

Naruto & the others make it into Akatsuki's hideout, but they appear to be
too late.
Cut scene 2: For the Kazekage

Gaara is dead and it seems all hope is lost but Granny Chiyo has an idea.
Stage 1: Sasori of the red sand
--------------------------------------------
Characters: Granny Chiyo & Sakura
Opponent: Sasori & Third Kazekage
1. Win the fight
2. While able to use team jutsu
Reward: 2000 NP
Granny Chiyo's grandchild, Sasori is here. This fight might have been more
easy if you played as Sakura because she is alot faster than Chiyo but
atleast the fight isn't very hard. Use the team jutsu because it does massive
damage. (More that the secret technique :0)
Stage 2: Sasori's true form

Characters: Sakura & Granny Chiyo
Opponent: True form Sasori
1. Win the fight
2. While able to use team jutsu
3. Fight while opponent's strenght is increased
Reward: 3000 NP
It's time to face Sasori in one last fight. In this battle he is more stronger
so I suggest you use the team jutsu again and then finish him off with a secret
technique. It seems that the legendary Sasori was beaten by a girl and his 73
year old grandmother.
Stage 3: The chase

Characters: Naruto Uzumaki
1. Beat the stage
2. Beat the stage before time is up
Reward: 2500 NP
Run and take out the enemie then climb the wall. Walk slowly or you will hit
the exploding trap. Kill the enemie and jump from tree to tree. Make sure to
take out Deidara's C1 birds. After all the way continue like this until the
trees stop. You will see the last trap and meet the last enemie and the exit.
Stage 4: Deidara's art

Characters: Naruto & Kakashi
Opponent: Deidara
1. Win the fight
2. While playing with a friend
3. Fight while opponent's strenght is increased
Reward: 3500 NP
Kakashi is a useful ally here and Deidara is very easy to beat. Take him
down using a Rasengan while Kakashi attacks Deidara and you win.
Battle challenge 1:

1. Win the fight
2. Win by using a jutsu
Reward: 1500 NP
Before beating Lee make sure to use a jutsu to beat him and no not a secret
technique but a regular jutsu.

Reward: 2000 NP
In front of you there are a few objects. Just destroy 5 of them to beat the
stage.

This battle is very easy because you have two partners to help you beat up
Sai.
Stage 3: To Tenchi bridge

Just head straight and you should know how to beat this stage.
Stage 4: Test your skills

Ok so now you have to do a spar with Yamato & Sakura. This battle is also
easy nut just to tell you, when Sakura uses her healing mode make sure to
attack her to prevent from healing.
Stage 5: Near the destination

Battle challenge 1:

A pretty simple battle. Make sure to target Kankuro first because he is more
aggresive then Temari.
Battle challenge 2:

1. Win the fight

3. Fight while the opponent's attack is increased
Reward: 1000 NP
Oh boy, Naruto will have his butt whoped at the end of this fight so give him
all you got.

Now you are in Orochimaru's hideout and it's time to find Sasuke. First get
the item in the box then you will see a ninja. Kill him and run away from the
trap. After that jump over the liquid or it will slow you down then kill the
next ninja. There is a ninja and an exploding trap at the port so make sure
to avoid it. Jump on the platform above you and then on the platforms right
next to you. Press the switch and go down the door. Now get passed the ninja
then climb the wall but watch the razer's movements. Avoid the trap then go
down and walk accros the big metal ball and also get passed the trap. Now you
will see the locked gate but you can open it. Jump on the platforms on your
left side and press the switch. Get back to the door and kill the ninja along
the way. Press the last switch and the metal door will open and the exit is
there.
Stage 3: Naruto vs. Sai

Because of Sai's speed he will repeatedly go after you thus making it easy

Stage 4: The search pt.2

Jump on the platforms above your head to avoid the spinning wood spikes.
Then press down + X button to go under the platform. Walk pass the port
and kill the birds. Now you will see a pit that you have to jump over
to go across. Now wait for the axe to move to the background then jump
over to the other side. Kill the bird and then climb the wall but walk
slowly to get passed the razors. Also kill the bird at the top so it doesn't
knock you back down. Then climb another wall and do a little walking by
killing the birds. Now you will see another pit and an axe so do the same
thing as before. The next axe has smaller space around it so make sure to
be careful here. Keep going and in a second you will enter Orochi's altar
and the exit.
Stage 5: Reunion

you. You will now encounter some bandits so you know what to do. Go up if you
want to get some extra NP points or just go right. Press the switch and the
door from below will open. Now kill the bandits and continue. Go at the
platforms above and press the switch. Get passed the door and get on the
moving platforms. Time you jump and head for the exit.
Stage 5: The immortal Hidan

over the moving tree to avoid damage. Now the rest is the same just kill
the rat and continue so do this until the end of the stage.
Stage 5: Clay clones

Now here is an interesting stage. Move right and get on the platform and wait
for it to escort you up. Now jump right and kill the puny enemie. Don't hurry
but look at the strange gate. Wait for it to move down and then hurry to get
across. Now keep moving and then kill an enemie. Move through the gate and jump
on these platforms ahead. Make sure not to fall. Do a little walking here then
jump up and smash the tantecle gate. After a few footsteps you should encounter
some rolling stones. Jump on the platforms above them to move on. Watch for the
tantacle gate and get on the moving platform. Now climb the wall and you will
see something that will roll you back so jump your way. Get passed the gate and
the exit is ahead.
Stage 4: Clay clone assault pt.1

This might be a tough one. It might be good to use a secret technique here
in order to do some damage so you can take em out faster. Aim for Guy first
then Hinata.
Stage 6: Finding the source

OK this stage is shorter than the last so kill the two enemies ahead and
you will see a purple lake. Jump on the platforms above because this lake
poisons you if you touch it. Get over the metal ball and climb the platforms
and get over the gates. Wait for a platform to pick you up and then destroy
every tentacle in the way. Kill the enemie that is waiting for you and wait
for yet another platform to pick you up. Now kill the enemie and move through
the rest and you will see the exit.
Stage 7: Shinga pt.1

There won't be another fight like this in the game so enjoy it while
it lasts. Ok you are now going to see a giant plant where Shingan is
being hidden so first there are two platforms from left to right. Destroy
the plants on those platforms and in the middle for the main plant to
come. Attack it and Shingan will appear. Attack him too for extra damage.
When he spits the fireballs duck under the platforms for cover.
Stage 8: Shinga pt.2

Well, look who came to join the wild party eh? This is the same battle and
with Sasuke it's easier.

target.

Use someone with a strong jutsu here. First kill Orochimaru and then
Sasori will be easier to beat.

Make sure that Itachi uses his Tsukuyomi because he looses health and chakra

Finally, the Akatsuki leader has shown. I suggest you use four tailed Naruto's

Yes it's time to say goodbye to Orochimaru. He will put up a fight so I

Guess Suigetsu wants to test his skills. Use the same thing as when you
fought Orochimaru and you should win.
Stage 3: On the move

What a pretty looking stage eh? Ok this one needs explaining, first move right
only and kill the enemies ahead. Watch out for the traps too. Kill another
enemie ahead and continue. Climb the rocks and on the top you will se an ANBU
so avoid him. Keep walking by killing and dodging the traps and some time you
will have to climb more rocks. Once you fall down a big guy will stand in the
way but he takes more hits to kill so use the Chidori. The next guy is easy
and climb the rocks again. Get down and kill some enemies. Move quickly
because you are almost out of time by jumping over the big stones. The exit
should now be in front of you.
Stage 4: Karin is in the team

Same stage, only that you play with Karin so check the previus stage for
detailes.
Stage 5: Experiments gone wrong

Woot, another new stage. Ok as you move a little, you will see the first
two experiments so kill them. Now beneath you is a switch, press it for
two doors to be unlocked. Go on the one above and kill the experiment
there. Get passed the axes slowly and kill two more experiments ahead.
Jump on the platforms to the other side and kill the three experiments
on the way. Hop down on the way and move right to kill the experiment
and return left to find the remaining ones. After a couple of seconds of
walking three experiments will be waiting for you. After killing the
third one, return again back to where you pressed the switch. Now go through
the gate beneath and kill the remaining experiments and your mission is
complete.
Stage 6: Locating Jugo

Oh boy, kill the experiments and scan the area. Get on the platforms above
you and hit the switch. Go beneath where the gate is and kill the experiment.
Do a little walking and kill the experiment then climb the wall. Watch for the
moving tree so go on to the platform above you and continue. Wait for the gates
to disappear and continue down. Now walk for a couple of seconds and kill every
one along the way. Climb the wall and press the switch and now enter through
the gate. Beneath the razor is a switch press it and go up to the upper
platform (above from where you came.). Go right and avoid the big metal
ball. Kill the other enemies and soon the exit will appear.
Stage 7: Enter Jugo pt.1

Jugo won't be much of a trouble maker so fight him with no concerns.

Hakui is a muscle beast with an annoying claw slash. When he attacks, get

Yep, time to take down Shinga for the second time. It's the same fight only

for damage. When he shoots, duck under the platforms and repeat.

Due to the fact that the game is in Japanese you might not be well aware of
some of the battle settings so I will explain them in this section.

11.1 Character select screen [Frb11p1]

Character selection:
------------------------
1. Press the circle button to choose your character
2. Press the triangle button to choose a random character
3. Press the square button to change character form (Only Naruto & Sasori)
4. Press the start button to adjust how many people can fight (2 to 4)
Character stats:
------------------------
After you have picked you characters, there are some green boxes which have
some purpose
1. Letters A,B,C,D - Select these letters to be know from which side are you
on. If two or three characters have the same letter means that they will
help each other as a team.
2. Jutsu selection - The yellow jutsu are the character's main jutsu and the
white ones are the ones picked from story mode.
3. Adjust level from 1 to 10 - Adjust this to make your stamina weaker or
stronger.

11.2 Before battle settings [Frb11p2]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Press the square button during the character stats screen to see the before
battle options.
1. Adjust battle time - from 10 seconds to infinite
2. Adjust difficulty
3. Item availability (None, few, normal and many)
4. Chakra: normal (default) and infinite
5. Secret Techniques: Allowed or not allowed
6. Restore default settings

11.3 Stages [Frb11p3]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The game has a total of 13 stages to choose from. They are all very cool to
fight in.
1. Leaf village street - A street somewhere in the Hidden Leaf. Has multiple
balconies to jump on.
2. Training field - The place where ninja train.
3. Lakeside - Here there is a water fall where characters can set their enemie
deep inside by knocking them out.
4. Ruined forest - A forest with destroyed trees.
5. Hidden sand village - The Sand Village during night time.
6. Wilderness of running water - The ambush spot of Kisame for team Guy.
7. Twilight cliff - A cliff with a big pitfall from the left side
8. Akatsuki's hideout - The hideout of the criminal organization, Akatsuki.
9. Tenchi bridge - The bridge that has been destroyed by four tailed
Naruto.
10. Altar of Orochi - The snake altar of Orochi.
11. Experiment lab - The place where Suigetsu was kept prisoner and many
more.
12. Outside Orochi's lab - One of many Orochimaru labs.
13. Clay field - This place is field with Deidara's clay mines that explode
within seconds.

To see the gallery you must press the start button while in the story mode
chapter select. Press the second option and you will enter the gallery (you
must complete story mode by 100% to see all unlockables.)

Here you can view all the character images in full screen.
1. Press X and circle to zoom in or out.
2. Triangle button - Rotate
3. L or R button - Change images

Here you can view each characters secret technique. After you select the
character you must choose the opponent to perform the secret technique on.

Here you can listen to the games music. There are about 60 tracks to listen
to so enjoy.

After collecting a certain amount of NP once you enter the tree section you
will see how it grows and unlocks wallpapers and passwords.

A: You must beat ceartain extra missions of the last chapter in story mode.
To be more precise, on the rightest-bottom row and starting by the left:
the first mission will reward you with young kakashi, the next one,

A: You can't you need to press all the buttons to take as little damage as
possible.
