INTRODUCTION
Ok. My name is Jacob Buckerfield. This is my very first FAQ. I have been
playing Monster Hunter ever since the day it came out. I'm a very loyal fan of
Capcom. And must say they are quite amazing. I have put over 1000 hours on
just about every Monster Hunter game (I know right....no life XD).
They are AMAZING!!!! But anyways.... on to things about Monster Hunter
Freedom. Now.... you start out in a simplevillage. You got the village elder,
shops, a farm, guild hall, and so on.The goal of Monster Hunter Freedom is to
basically slay everything and become the worlds best hunter. Wheather you do
this with friends or not is totally up to you. I, personally, did this
basically by myself. Some i had help from friends but not much. You have your
basic weapons..... the Sword and Shield, which is a balence between speed,
power, and defense. The Duel Weapons, sacrificing defense for power and speed.
The Great Sword, a power house weapon with both great power and great defense,
however, very slow. The Hammer, another power house weapon with both power and
speed, except no defense capability. Then there's the lance, based on raw
defense. While in defense mode your practically invincible, unless you atack.
Not great of speed or power but definatly something to use for some good
defense. The Light Bowgun, ah a long range weapon... not bad speed, not bad
power, but i would only recommend using it as a support weapon with allies.
Me, i perfer it up close and personal. And last but not least, The Heavy
Bowgun, basically a Light Bowgun on steriods. More attack power, but
slower speed. Then you have your armor. Both for Blademasters and for
Gunner. Blademasters have more defense then Gunners. But, to me, i think some
of the Gunners equipment are cooler looking. This FAQ is pretty much going to
get you through the whole game. I can't say your going to be a pro, quite
like myself heh, but you wont be a noob anymore. Ill tell you info on how to
take down some of the biggest monsters with the slightest of ease. I hope this
FAQ helps you with your future Monster Huntering....so get out there and

Really not much to say about it. Your basic house. You can check your item
box or put things in or take things out or change equipment. Your info
magizines are by the bed with very detailed imformation. And the most
important thing in the entire game, the bed. You have to sleep on the bed in
order to save the game. Which you should do often.

FARM
There are many things you can do at the farm to help increase your supplies to
make some of the strongest weapons in the game.
1. One farming location
You can plant some seeds here to increse your stick or even get new items.

2. 3 Bug Netting Spots
You have 3 places to get bugs, each spot more rare then the next one.
3. Mushroom Picking
Need some mushrooms to help you out on the battle? Then this is your place to
be.
4. 3 Mining Spots
There are 3 places to mine for some ore. The first is simple stuff. The second
one is a bit more rare. And right up the ladder is another great place to mine
for some really rare ore.
5. Mushroom Picking
Need some mushrooms out there on the battlefield? Well this is the place to go
for all your mushroom needs.
6. Bomb Mining
A place to turn in all your extra Barrel-Bombs for a cat to go and explode
himself for the sake of geting you your ore. He'll be ok, NYA!!
7. 3 Fishing Spots
A nice place to go to just look at the beautiful water.....or to catch some
fish. Extend your dock for more fish and the Casting Machine.
8. A Casting Machine
If you want a lot of fish then this is where you want to be. Just remember to
bring your net!
9. Honey Beehive
Need honey but don't like to be stung by bees? Well then come here, free honey
and no stings.

Help You Need: Ok, well basically you start out in forest and hills. Head over
to Area 1 and get to killing the Aptonoth. When you slay one, stand over the
dead body and press the O button. This will make your hunter carve. You can
carve up to 2 times. When you have gathered your 2 pieces of raw meat, you can
head back to camp to the red box and press O. This will end the your very
first quest. Congrats!

Goal Condition: Deliver 1 Well-Done Steak
Fail Condition: Reward Zero, Time over
Help You Need: As soon as the quest starts head over to the blue box and
press O. This will bring up a menu with many differant items. Take whatever
you want out. But make sure you get the portable spit. Now either bring or
carve to get raw meat. Down in your little item menu you must have the
portable BBQ spit ready. Press the [] button and your hunter will sit down and
start cooking away. You will start to hear a little song start. Wait untill
the end of the music and wait 3 seconds. If you did it right then you should
hear something go (MMMM, Looks Tasty). This means you did it right. Go to the
red box and press O. This will finish the quest if done corectly.

Help You Need: Lets just make this quest real simple like. Go to the Kokoto
Saleslady and buy 2 herbs (40 z) and a spiderweb (60 z). Then start up the
quest, head over to the box, and press O. Thats it.

get the worm bait. Now head over to area 11. There will be Bullfango so kill
it first. When you have done that, head over to the pond and put the bait
into your item selection. Then press []. When you see a fish come up to your
bait and it takes it under water press X. Keep doing this untill you have
caught your fish.

calls for help you will have to kill all three of them. Its not hard. When
you have killed all three the quest will be complete.
