 Runes are Magic and can exist in these different forms:

 Crystal - Rune that can be attached by a Runemaster. (Can be removed)
 Rune - Rune already attached to a character. (Can't be removed)
 Def. Rune Fragment - Single use Rune that you can use once
 Off. Rune Fragment - Single use Rune that can be attached to your weapon
                      by a Blacksmith.


                             --= SPELL RUNES =--

 These are runes that enables a character's ability to use Spells during
 battle. Each Rune enables 4 different spells. The higher Magic Points a
character has, more and higher level spells are usable. Stay a night at a
             Inn to recharge your spells as well as your HP.


 WIND RUNE - Wind Magic usable
 Crystal: Cave into "Castle of Toran" [Chest]
          "Neclord's Castle" [Demon Sorcerer]
          "Kobold Village" [Shop]

 WATER RUNE - Water Magic usable
 Crystal: "Sarady" [Shop]
          "Seika" [Shop]

 EARTH RUNE - Earth Magic useable
 Crystal: "Rikon" [Shop]

 FIRE RUNE - Fire Magic usable
 Crystal: "Magician's Island" [From Leknaat]
          "Kirov" [Shop]

 LIGHTNING RUNE - Lightning Magic usable
 Crystal: "Warrior's Village" [Shop]

 CURSED RUNE (Soul Eater) - Soul Eater Magic usable
 Rune: Hero (From Ted)

 RESURRECTION RUNE - Ressurection Magic usable
 Rune: Fukien ("Qlon")

    These are runes just like Spell Runes but has a fifth Magic Level.


 CYCLONE RUNE (Wind) -
 Crystal: "Seek Valley" [Chest]

 FLOWING RUNE (Water) -
 Crystal: "Qlon" [Chest]
          "Shasarazade" [Siren]

 MOTHER EARTH RUNE (Earth) -
 Crystal: "Moravia" [Chest]

           These are runes used in battle with unlimited charge

 BOAR RUNE - Boar Attack (2x Damage, Unbalanced)
 Rune: Pahn ("Gregminster")
 Crystal: "Dwarf Trail" [Death Boat]
            "Village of the hidden Rune" [Chest]

 FALCON RUNE - Falcon Attack (2x Damage)
 Rune: Valeria ("Village of the Elves")

 CLONE RUNE - Clone Attack (2x Damage, Unbalanced)
 Crystal: "Mt.Tigerwolf" [Chest]

 SHRIKE RUNE - Shrike Attack (2x Damage)
 Rune: Kasumi ("Castle of Toran")

 HATE RUNE - Hate Attack
 Rune: Bell ("Kirov")

 DOUBLE STRIKE RUNE - Attack 2 monsters each attack
 Rune: Eikei ("Teien")


                           --= DEFENSIVE RUNES =--

         These are Runes that improves your Character's abilities

 PROSPERITY RUNE - Gain 2x gold after a battle
 Crystal: Around "Kalekka" [Siren]

 PHERO RUNE - A character of the opposite sex protects you from attacks
 Rune: Tai-Ho ("Castle of Toran")
 Crystal: Around "Seika" [Beast Commander]

 GALE RUNE - Doubles your speed
 Crystal: "Pannu Yakuta" [Chest]

 COUNTER RUNE - Counter blow percentage increase (2x)
 Crystal: "City of Great Forest" [Shop]

 KILLER RUNE - Critical blow percentage increase (2x)
 Crystal: "Dwarf Trail" [Chest]
          "Teien" [Shop]

 FORTUNE RUNE - Double experience
 Crystal: "Kirov" [Shop]

 CHAMPION RUNE - Monsters weaker than you don't attack
 Crystal: "Warrior's Village" [Shop]
          "Village of the hidden Rune" [Chest]

 TURTLE RUNE - Prevents status anomalities (Poison, Balloon etc.)
 Crystal: "Village of the dwarves" [Shop]

 SPARK RUNE - Change order of attack
 Crystal: "Scarletica" [Chest]

 SUNBEAM RUNE - Auto recover HP as you walk
 Crystal: "Dwarves Vault" [Chest]

 HAZY RUNE - Cut monster's successful attacking effectiveness in half
 Crystal: "Kobold Village" [Shop]

 TRICK RUNE -
 Crystal: "Dwarf Vault" [Blue Death Machine]

                    These are Runes with misc effects

 HOLY RUNE - Dash possible (Hold () to Run)
 Crystal: Around "Gregminster" [Mosquito]

                            --= RUNIC ATTACKS =--

   If two characters in your party have the required spell runes, they can
    combine some level 4 and 5 spells and do a Runic Attack. To do a Runic
       Attack have two charaters cast their 4:th listed spells for the
  required spell runes in the same round. You can combine both regular Spell
                         Runes and Higher Spell Runes
