I've frequented the GameFAQs site for a while, but until now, I've never tried
to submit anything. Anyway, I got the game Brave Story: New Traveler when it
first came out, and to my surprise, I ended up beeing one of the first people
on the board to complete the English version of the game. One of the most
frequent questions I noticed on the board was about different monsters and
how to craze them. Seeing as how one of the unlockables after beating the
game tells how to craze different monsters, I helped make a list on the board
telling how to craze which monsters. The only thing was, it didn't tell what
crazed monsters dropped what. I had a lot of time on my hands, so I ended up
going about and finding all the crazed monster drops and making a crazed
monster guide for the board. Then someone had the nerve to suggest that it
would be so much more helpfull if it included ALL of each monster's drops,
instead of just the crazed drops and where to find them. I spluttered a
little bit, but seeing as how I still had a lot of time on my hands, I
made one for the boards. I got tired of bumping it though, so here it is,
in FAQ form. This is my first FAQ, so hopefully it's not too bad.

\ Crazed Monsters (CZDM) /

Up until the point in the game where you have to go craze a Giranha, you can't
craze monsters. After that point though, they are all fair game. Use a
certain monster's craze trigger on it, and it has a certain chance of becoming
crazed. In order to complete your monster book in game you will have to go
out and craze every monster in the book that has a crazed form. Unforunatly,
there's no shortcuts.
Note*: I recently recieved an email from someone saying that it is possible
to craze monsters even before you get Kee-Keema for your party. I was never
able to do this, but it could just be that I have bad luck. Just a heads up
for you people out there still reading this.

The percentage refers to the number of monsters that will become
crazed upon the first use or application of the crazed trigger. If the
monster you are trying to craze does not craze on the first application of the
trigger, that particular monster will never craze no matter how many times the
trigger is appied. ie, go fight a different monster of the same breed.

These little buggers can be invaluable to someone trying to complete
their monster guide. You can buy Fire Stones and Water Stones in Lanka, and
you can buy Wind and Lightning Stones in Sakawa. Each of these stones will
always do 20 damage to the monster they are thrown at, unless the enemy is
weak to the element of the stone that you threw at it, in which case it will
do 30 damage, no matter how highly you are leveled or how powerful you
become. You can also find Throwing Stones in that area which can be stolen
from any Rablin save for the Rablin Mage, and are dropped by many different
enemies throughout the game. These stones will always do 20 damage as they
have no element. These stones can be a real lifesaver when you are trying to
get your enemy below 10% health, or hit it with an elemental attack, but you
are too overleveled for it to survive the attack.

The locations in this guide were for the most part taken directly
from the in game guide. However, I have noticed that a lot of people have
trouble finding Northern and Central Arikita. The easiest way to find these
two locations is posted as follows:
Northern Arikita: Go to the Craftmaster's Cabin and head north.
Central Arikita: Go to the Paulta Mines, but do not enter.
