2.0 - New Characters Added To Special/Semi-Special Section
(Allie, Mongol)
More characters added to Generics List
This section here will cover the 11 specific reaccuring "Secret
Characters".
There are a few common points to these characters:
-- They are available on all 3 story arcs (but in different
places)
-- They are recruited by triggering an "Event" with a
character. This is done by using the base's "Explore"
command when an allied character is on this base's tile
for at least one full turn that the character in
question is hiding at (thus allowing you to explore the
location with him/her/it).
-- Each character found in this manner will not be available
till after the current map you are playing has been
completed assuming you are playing with the maximum number
of allowed units at the time the battlefield is started
that you do the event on. If you're under this limit then
you may use the character right away (also applies to any
character recruited normally).
-- Each Character comes pre-equipped with their own gear and
special spells/attacks. These attacks and items are many
times sellable and recoverable thru the shop interface so
that (with enough cash) you can get multiples for other
characters. Note, that any item or skill in
yellow that you do sell will NOT be recoverable.
-- Each character is in fact a character associated with a
different "IF" game outside of this one....thus they have no
strong impact in this game's story outside of being summoned
heroes (the intro of the game, the very first time you play
is how they are summoned to the world of Aedis Eclipse)
who are all seeking "The Wielder Of Light" and much like
other back up characters you recruit have no direct
interactions with characters in the story arc you are in at
the time.
-- Each one of these characters are on average stronger then
anyone you can normally get to join your party and many
times are even stronger then most of the people you fight
one on one on a level by level basis. They also usually
come with units of a significantly higher tier then normally
available to the rest of your party (on average).
-- Each character has their own special skill and level up
chatter much like the normal main characters of a story
line.
-- Each character will in some way, shape, or form ask you to
take them with you. If you want them to come along with
you, you need the answer "Yes" to them.
Descriptions of characters follow below....note that unless
specified all info on a character will refer to the description
given in this section. Note also that the character's level will
always be the same level as the highest leveled party member you
have at the time that you trigger the event. As such the
character's stats are not listed as they will vary depending on
what level you get them at. Only the constant variables will be
listed below. When the "Found At" section is listed, it will
refer to where each character is located at based on if you
started the Lower World Campaign (Quinn's Story), the
Surface World Campaign (Duo's Story), or the Divine World
Campaign (Atrapollus' Story). Note also that these units
sometimes have special formation commands that they can give to
their units and will be listed where appropiate.

4. (SPL) Special And Semi-Special Characters
A number of these characters you get normally, but some of these
characters are in fact opponents that you fight (sometimes many
times prior to recruitment) before having a chance to fight and
capture them. If a character has to be captured then you also
have to be able to pursuade them as well with a different
character (the chance being based on a character's CHA stat).
Sadly, some of these "Semi-Special" characters are actually
just slightly to somewhat stronger versions of normal units with
different character graphics. These characters will be pointed
out as we come to them.
Unlike Secret Characters listed above, these characters do not
carry over for availability between the 3 story arcs, though some
are available in more then one and will be noted
where applicable. Also, unlike Secret characters, these
characters are available thru normal means of beating them and
then converting them to your side or join your side
automatically when the story allows as opposed to triggering an
"event" via exploring.
Unless They start with some sort of stand out unit, I wont be
listing unit stats for these character's units. There's a very
good FAQ already on GameFAQs that goes into all
of these details should you want to find out more.
One final point, story characters and some unique others have
special unit tactics available to them to command to their
units. Those will be listed with the character where
applicable.

These are basically the "grunt" like characters that a player
accrues over the course of gameplay (should a player be
constantly recruiting prisoners). In simple terms, these will
be the weakest types of characters you can have in comparison
to other characters. A few key points to spot a clone:
-- Has the same sprite as normal unnamed opponents
-- Has the same picture (ex. status screen) as normal unnamed
opponents (They also dont usually show a generic's eyes on
their picture).
-- Has no special skill >>usually<< though it should be noted
that certain classes by their nature automatically can have
a 6th skill such as Cannon Gunners for example.
-- No special animations (such as when leveling up after a
battle or using a special skill) and also dont have "chatter".
Keep in mind that while these are the weakest characters you get,
they are still clearly stronger then their normal unit counter-
parts (even if they have the same name).
The Following Characters Are Clones (And Their Classes):
