4.) Intro (YUGI.4)
A Little about the game...
Okay, this is Yu-Gi-OH! to the max. We got 3-D Monsters, new cards, new field
setups, new everything. You can either choose Yugi's side, or Kaiba's side.
Either way, you have to beat every duelist, get their rose cards, and then
switch roles and do the same thing all over again.
A little about me...
I'm not one for cheats. I am a frequent message board user, and have
contributed 4 FAQs before this one. People have said that my guides were
helpful before, and I hope you find this one helpful. as you can tell, I also
failed grammar school. Good luck.
That being said, let's move on to the guide!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Warrior
Winged-beast
Zombie
The monster Elements are...
Dark
Earth
Fire
Light
Water
Wind
===============================================================================
I would like to take some time to talk about Immortals. These are VERY rare.
The only way you can uncover them is if your deck leader has the find ability
and moves over a certain square. You may then find an Immortal hiding.
Immortals are favorable of crush, create crush when they are destroyed, and
always have another devastating effect to them. They have a very high DC, so be
wary when putting them in your deck. otherwise, these are incredible cards.
These cards are limited to this game. Immortals are represented by ???.
===============================================================================
===============================================================================
I would also like to talk about toon monsters. These can be anything from
Dragons to Warriors. They still have favor to their respective territory, but
have favor in the toon land also. F.E. Parrot Dragon is either a winged beast
or a dragon. Either way, both favor to Mountain. Parrot Dragon favors to Toon
and Mountain.
===============================================================================
Okay, the basics of the game are to move around. There are many types of
territories, described in the following:
Dark- Favorable to spellcaster and fiend. Unfavorable to Fairy.
FOrest- Favorable to Beast, Beast-warrior, Plant, and Insect.
Meadow- Favorable to beast-warrior and Warrior. Unfavorable to spellcaster.
Mountain- Favorable to Winged-Beast, Fairy, and Thunder.
Sea- Favorable to Aqua, Sea-serpent, Thunder, and Fish. Unfavorable to Machine
and Pyro.
Wasteland- Favorable to Dinosaur, Zombie, Rock, and Machine. Unfavorable to
Plant, Aqua, and Fish.
Toon- Favorable to "Toon" monsters. Unfavorable to anything else except
Immortals.
Crush- Favorable to Immortals.
===============================================================================
I would now like to talk about "Special" Lands. Normal, Crush, Labyrinth, and
Toon are special lands. Why? I'll tell you...
Normal- Not really special, just not favorable or unfavorable to anything.
Crush- Favors to Immortal, but destroys any monster above 1500ATK when they
come into that space.
Labyrinth- Unless stated, monsters cannot enter the Labyrinth space.
Toon- Unless the monster is a Toon or Immortal, this is unfavorable to all
other monsters.
===============================================================================
Aight, now that we done with that, lets talk about card colors (oh God). They
are as follows...
Yellow- A normal monster. Just fight with it.
Orange- a monster with an effect. While you fight, or die, or whatever, you
might hurt the opponent in the process or help yourself.
Green- Magic card. Power ups, field cards, etc. are all field cards. With no
attack power, any monster can come by and destroy it without any effect.
Blue- Ritual. With the appropriate monsters, you can summon something amazing.
Purple- Trap. Like a magic card, except it triggers when your opponent does
something.
ZZZZ...I'll take that million for ya...Oh, wha? Oh, yeah, the FAQ... Sorry.
-
Now, lets talk about winning. Along with bragging rights, you get a win on your
record, a card that your opponent lost to the graveyard, and some more points
for any of your selected monsters (Including the deck leader), which help them
get another ranking up as a deck leader. Now, how do you win? Easy...
YOu can delete the opponent's life points, surround the opponent's deck leader
so he can't summon anything, wait for 99-100 turns and have the highest life
points, or summon all of Exodia (R Leg, L Leg, R Arm, L Arm, Head).

* STORYLINE *
* *
* Oh, goodie! Now, after an intro movie, you can choose a name. I made mine *
* gotahel (get it?). After that, you can choose a deck that "Talks to your *
* soul". Meh. Just pick a deck. Afterwards, you will have to decide which *
* Side you would like to start on. I'd choose Seto's side. Now, you have to *
* beat 8 people and Madawydden Fab Llyr. Then, you have to do it over again. *
* Simple enough? Now, go out there and kick some duelist ass! *

6.) Characters (YUGI.6)
Here are the characters and all of their deck costs, bla bla bla.
WEEVIL UNDERWOOD
Deck cost: 854
Deck Leader: Basic Insect
General Info: Meh. He's a decent challenge for beginners. He mostly likes to
keep his deck leader defended and will do a lot to make sure he isn't attacked.
---
REX RAPTOR- Likes Dinosaurs
Deck cost: 960
Deck Leader: Two headed king rex
General Info: Not too hard of a challenge. He's kind of hard to get to, since
of his field setup. My advice is to put strong monsters on the inside channels.
That's where he summons at the beginning.
--
DARKNESS RULER- Likes Fiends
Deck cost: 982
Deck Leader: King of Yamimakai
General Info: This guy's not smart. He ritual summoned Zera the Mant, and then
used time stop and eternally paralyzed him... Well, whatever. He's built on his
terrain. The main thing you can do is use a field card to change the terrain.
Then take your favorable monsters and... Well... Get violant.
---
NECROMANCER- Likes Zombies
Deck cost: 795
Deck Leader: Pumpking the King of Ghosts
General Info: Aww, man! With that low Deck Cost, we have to take away all of
our good monsters! Meh. Throw a field card that's not wasteland and crush him.
He has crap cards, but does use rituals and fusions to make some powerhouses,
so watch out. Especially if he's in the wasteland terrain.
---
PEGASUS CRAWFORD- Likes Toons
Deck cost: 1254
Deck Leader: Illusionist Faceless Mage
General Info: This guy's as hard as hell. First of all, you have to unleash a
field card on that toon area he has. Once you do, he will be pretty much
powerless. He has many magic/trap cards, so watch out. You will want to punch
him when he uses Tremendous Fire or Change of Heart on you. Just play it cool.
---
LABYRINTH RULER- Likes Everything
Deck cost: 1016
Deck Leader: Monster Tamer
General Info: This guy doesn't have any skill at dueling. He sends out 600ATK
monsters to battle! Oh well. He does use Sanga of the Thunder, Suigin, and
Kazejin to fight, and can sometimes use a ritual to get Gate Guardian. He has
a weird field, and monsters that can move through labyrinths, and crush spaces.
I REALLY advise some serious field cards to wipe out those crush spaces, and
maybe a few Magical Labyrinths to kill those labyrinths he has. I actually had
to keep skipping turns until the end because we both ran out of cards. He's
boring.
---
ISHTAR- Likes Aqua
Deck cost: 861
Deck Leader: Witch of the Black Forest
General Info: She's easy. She has some nice cards, and powers them up or makes
fusions out of them alot. Those crush fields will kill you, take those out with
a little field card. Get her cards out of the slot machine and move on.
---
KEITH- Likes Machine
Deck cost: 1027
Deck Leader: Slot Machine
General Info: Wow, he has a good deck for that DC. Change the field
IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!! Move forward and put a couple traps behind you. You
should be good for a while. He has some awesome cards, so destroy his Metalzoa,
his Slot Machine, and win them in the awards slot afterwards. Let's move on.
---
RICHARD SLYSHEEN OF YORK- Likes Warrior
Deck cost: 1039
Deck Leader: Battle Steer
General Info: Easy pickens. Destroy his meadow field, then his little Battle
Oxs and such will be powerless against your almighty onslaught! After that,
just send out powerful monsters at his deck leader and win.
---
SETO- Likes Dragon
Deck cost: 1184
Deck Leader: Blue Eyes White Dragon
General Info: Aww, man! This guy is hard. He hides in the corner all of the
time. A useful strategy is to make the inside courtyard a favorable field, and
lure his dragons into there. Take the dragons down. Then, send out Warriors or
Beast-Warriors to get the Deck Leader. He has the moving feature, so make sure
you fire two guys at him so you can corner him. Watch out for his Blue Eyes
Ultimate Dragon ritual. Otherwise, you can get some sweet cards off of him.
---
MANAWYDDAN FAB LLYR 1- Likes Anything
Deck cost: 1985
Deck Leader: Skull Knight
General Info: Oh, God. This guy is very hard. Well, to start out, destroy the
crush inside the labyrinths on your side. Leave the rest there so he can't get
to your trap cards. And now, what do you know, put the trap and magic cards you
want in your new terrain. Now, you have to build up REALLY powerful monsters
before you go out attacking. He likes using Riryoku an you, so watch out. After
this, you switch sides.
---
TEA- Likes Fairies
Deck cost: 933
Deck Leader: Dancing Elf
General Info: Wow, this is easy. The cool thing here is that there is no need
to change the territory, it's mostly normal. Anyway, she has crappy, 200ATK
monsters she sends out at you. Take those out. Easy, right? Yeah, but there is
one catch. She tends to use effects and magic cards to power up her monsters
and increase her life points. Besides that, easy pickens. After the award slot,
if you look at the dialogue, she says she failed her love (A.K.A. Yugi)! Uh-oh!
---
T. TRISTIN GRAY- Likes Warriors
Deck cost: 1149
Deck Leader: Karbonala Warrior
General Info: Oh my God, this guy is easy. Just use a field card that's not
wasteland and change the stripes. Besides that, he has weak as hell monsters,
crappy traps, and stupid magic cards that can't do anything to you. Good
training battle for beginners.
---
MARGARET MAI BEAUFORD- Likes Winged Beasts
Deck cost: 1003
Deck Leader: Harpie Lady
General Info: Not much to say. Switch the field so there are no more mountains.
Then attack and win. ONe thing you do have to watch out for are those dreaded
Harpie Lady combos, they get annoying after a while... Just take them out with
a powerful dragon or something.
---
MAKO- Likes Aqua
Deck cost: 1001
Deck Leader: Kairyu-shin
General Info: He's based on water. The best thing you can do is use the
Wasteland field card to change the whole thing into desert, and dry the whole
sea up. Then, fire machines and such at his choking fish monsters and win.
---
JOEY- Likes Warriors
Deck cost: 970
Deck Leader: Flame Swordsman
General Info: Meh. He has a decent amount of good cards, so watch out. Change
the field so it's your field, and attack like you never have before. Keep some
backup trap/magic cards so you don't get any Joey attacks.
---
J. SHADI MORTON- Likes Anything
Deck cost: 982
Deck Leader: Millenium GOlem
General Info: You can't control his cards, let me say that right off the bat.
His fieldis divided by crush, so use your field card to change that. He really
isn't hard, he has a weak fusions deck. Just beat him and move on.
---
JASPER DICE TUDOR- Likes Fiends
Deck cost: 1078
Deck Leader: Exodia the Forbidden One
General Info: He's no challenge. Well, except for his Exodia. Make sure he has
no more than 5 cards on the field. With his little labyrinth hideout, it would
be a good idea to pack your deck full of monsters/magic/trap cards that can
break through the labyrinth. He attacks with crap monsters, so he will be no
challenge, except for the constant fear of him summoning Exodia. He's done it
to me once, so it's possible.
---
BAKURA- Likes Plants
Deck cost: 757
Deck Leader: Dark Plant
General Info: Ahhh... WTF? STupid deck cost... Well, anyway, try to get some
weak fusion monsters. Change the field to a wasteland and dry him up. If you
can't get access to a field card, take two fusicle monsters and fuse them right
in front of Bakura's DL. That aughta shut him up. Well, maybe he'll keep
talking because of that 50 LP he gets every turn...
---
YUGI- Likes Spellcasters
Deck cost: 1206
Deck Leader: Dark Magician
General Info: Meh. Beat him for good cards. His field is just a bunch of
different squares, use a field card for some decent order. Besides that, you
should watch out for his spellcasters like Dark Magician, he can kill with
those. This guy is a good source for cards.
---
MANAWYDDAN FAB LLYR 2- Likes Fiends
Deck cost: 1891
Deck Leader: Chakra
General Info: Meh. It's the same strategy for the first one. Change the middle
courtyard, throw around some magic/trap cards, etc. Not too hard, but he is a
great source for some nice cards.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.) Tips (YUGI.7)
Here are some basic tips.
*Always carry a field card in your deck. Since most other duelists adjust the
field to their liking, it's always nice to change that around.
*Magical Labyrinth is great for blocking people from getting to your DL.
*The more monsters of one species on a field, the faster that monster levels up
to be a DL.
*Never surrender.
Got tips? E-mail me at
[email protected] and tell me!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

9.) Interactive (YUGI.9)
Alright, this is the interactive section. What does that mean? It means
you can show off the most cards available, the most powerful card you have,
the most rituals you have available, ect. You will get all credit, but if
someone sends in a better record than yours, then yours will be replaced with
the better record. To destroy his record, just comply with the
guidelines and beat your opponent. (F.E. You put the Red Eyes B. Dragon.
Someone E-mails me that he has The Seiyairu. You have to get a more powerful
card than him, or you lose the spot. You may E-mail me to ask if the record is
better or not)
My E-mail address is
[email protected]. And, title the E-mail
Yu-Gi-Oh! Record, so I know what it is. Oh, and don't say you did
something when you really didn't. That's just weak and cheap.
If you have the same record as somebody else, they got there first and,
not to be rude, I won't post yours. Sorry!
Also, I am an active partaker in this, so I might be the one to beat
your records.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10.) My Strategy (YUGI.10)
You want to know how I won two games straight (both sides) with only ten
losses? It's all in the deck. After you beat Rex, get over to Necromancer and
win a whole bunch of duels against him (at least 4 if you are good at the
slots). You might need to win cards off of other people too. Also, I advise
starting with the Luminous Soldier deck.
These are the cards you need in your deck:
Pumpking the King of Ghosts X 4 (One will be your Deck Leader) (1800/2000)
Kaiser Dragon (2300/2000)
Thunder Dragon (1600/1500)
Graveyard and the Hand of Invitation (700/900) OR Call of the Haunted
Slot Machine (2000/2300)
Dokuriozo the Grim Reaper (900/1200)
Revival of Dokurorider
Various Insect monsters
Various weak Zombie monsters
Various weak Machine monsters
Magic Jammer
If you can do all this in a duel, you are awesome.
1.) Get Dokurorider out by tributing one Zombie (not Pumpking or GatHoI), one
Machine (Not Slot Machine) and one Insect. Move him around for wasteland
territory.
2.) Get Slot Machine out and power him up if you can.
3.) Fuse Kaiser and Thunder Dragon for Twin Headed Thunder Dragon (2800/2100)
4.) Get out GatHoI out and flip it. Now all of the monsters are zombies.
5.) Destroy GatHoI and bring out two Pumpkings. Now all of those monsters
will gain 200 every turn and Dokurorider will make it wasteland for the
movement bonus and power bonus.
6.) If you are dueling Rex, have a Magic Jammer handy if he uses Eternal Rest.
If he does you're screwed.
