1.0: A little bit about me!
Who am I? I'm just another 16-year-old nerd from Denmark, who've decided to
do some "in-depth" faqs for some of my favourite games! This is the first FAQ
I've published, so it may be a little crappy, who knows? Anyways, on with
the FAQ!

                            ******************
1.1: Contact Information.
You can contact me, through my email at [email protected]. If you want
me to read it, please do put Wild Arms 3 as the subject, or else I won't even
bother to read it.
I will reply to questions about Secret Garden, and on emails written in Danish
or English. That's the languages I understand fully. I speak a little German
(and I mean - a LITTLE), some French (But I can't write it) and close to none
Spanish.
You are also welcome to mail me with additional information, or to correct my
grammar/way of spelling.
Oh yeah, if there's something you would like to comment about, feel free to do
that as well. It's my first FAQ after all.

And, if you want to be sure that I'll answer you, please feel free to
add me to your messenger, it's the same email I use normally :)

If you think that my FAQ is absolutely great, and you want to host it, I can
only say: "No it isn't". That having been said, if you still want to host it,
please write me an email with the subject "Wild Arms 3 FAQ Hosting". It's the
only way I'll read it. Or, alternatively, you can add me to your messenger
(see Contact information for more details). If you do contact me, there are
some simple rules you must follow. Please state why you wiwh to host it, who
you are, link to your homepage, and tell me what the homepage is about (I'm
not sure I'm in the mood for reading everything on your homepage). You must
update this FAQ yourself, newest version is always found at www.gamefaqs.com.
If I happen to browse by yur homepage, and see that the newest version isn't
there, and I've updated the FAQ more than a week ago, I must ask you to remove
it.

2: How did you get THIS idea?
Honestly, I can't quite remember! I was reading a FAQ on Wild Arms 3, where it
stated how to calculate the chances of succes in growing something in The
Secret Garden. Then I went back to playing the game, and after some days, I
went to Baskar City, and went to bed (in-game). Then I remembered the FAQ I'd
read, which said that every time you slept, the plants would grow a bit.
Then I looked at my Auto-fire Joypad, and I had an idea! It started as a
"How to crow items fast" faq, but is currently an all-round faq for
The Secret Garden.

*****************************************************************************

3: Secret Garden - How to get there the first time.

The coordinates for Secret Garden are X:17686, Y:8239. If you haven't got
the radar screen, I'll tell you how to find it (the Secret Garden, now Radar
screen. Radar screen can be bought from Roykman, for 5000 Gella. Very important
item, when you get the Map Scope!!!) now.

NOTE: You can only get here, after you've gotten some horses, but don't rush
here immideatly. That would be a really bad idea. Wait until you are about
level 25. Right after you've completed Fortune Gear would be a good idea...

Go to Jolly Roger. Mount your horses, and go north, crossing the bridge, and
continue to venture north. Jump the crevasse. Go around the the forest, until
you can't go any farther. Make a search, and the place should pop up. Enter
the Secret Garden, and talk to Florina (The only girl in there) She'll give
you 10xHeal Berry.

                            ******************

3.1: Now what?

Florina gave you a mission. Go to X:15351, Y:9649.
For those without map, go out of Secret Garden, go around the forest , and
go over to the mountains at the opposite site of the forest, and search
around here. There you should find Decaying Labyrinth. PLease, be at least
lvl 25 before entering this place. It's for your own good. Oh, and you need
the Steady Doll.

NOTE: SAVE YOUR GAME BEFORE ENTERING THIS PLACE! Half-way through, you'll
come down to 1 HP, and with no VIT. Relatively high Migrant level is advised.

3.2: Decaying Labyrinth!

Go through the labyrinth.
Okay folks, listen up. Do not, and I repeat, not cancel encounters at any
time during this dungeon. You will need every ounce of your ECN gauge later
on. That having been said, let's take a look on how to beat this.

Go trough the North door. Do it again. And again. In here, walk on the path,
to the door. In this room, use Gallow's Steady Doll to push the block. Hit
the switch in the middle of the room. continue on, moving the block that
blocks your way, and go through the door you just opened with the switch.
In this room, go through the door. In here there is a switch under the
bridge. Hit it. Go to the next door. At the very moment you enter this room,
the door will slam shut, meaning there's no way turning back. Save your
game, and open the chest. Now you will fight Ring Keeper.

Strategy for Ring Keeper:
============================================================================
============================================================================
Info:
Boss Name: Ring Keeper
EXP: 3900
Gella: 4000
============================================================================
Attacks:
Phantom Hazard: Dark Magic attack.
Mighty Swing: Psycichal attack.
Anti-Arcana Zone: Seals arcane command for 3 turns.
============================================================================
How do I beat him?
He's not hard. He doesn't have any real damaging attacks. He's weak to
lightning, but I defeated him by just continuing to attack him.
It would be a good idea to have Gallows cast Protect on everyone...
============================================================================

After killing him, take the Corpse Ring, and get a move
on. Now you have 1 HP, and zero VIT... Hopefully, you did as I said, and
didn't avoid any battles? Because you are going to need every single drop
of your ECN meter now! Anyways, notice that the next rooms are full of holes?
Use that to your advantage. Drop in holes, if you have to, to avoid battles.
It's better to start a room over, than to start the dungeon over.

(NOTE: everytime you "use" a block, or push it, you can't be attacked. If the
big "!" appears over you head, and you are standing in front of a block,
press "x" to use it. The "!" will disappear. The same counts for swichtes.)

It would be a good idea to run now. Run to northern door. Run North, then go
West to door. Run to door now.
In this room, you must stand on all pressure-pads. Go South, push the block
South, go East, step on first pad.
Now, go West (where the skies are blue), push the block West, go South and step
on Second pad.
Go south, push the block in the same direction, go East and step on the 3rd
Pad.
Now, go East and push block East. Go North, step on Final Pad (in this room),
go South and take the door you just opened.
Now, it's time to go West, and then South. Go through the door, then go South,
then East. Go East in this room, and in next room, walk over bridge-thingy
to the door.

Go forward, push the block North, go west and step on panel.
Go East, then North. Push block North, go East, then South push the block
south, and stand on second panel.
Go back West, then north, then push the block in the same direction. Go east
and step on panel #3.
Now, go West, push the block the same way, go North and step on 4th Panel.
Now, you have 2 options. Puzzle you way to the other panels immedeatly, or,
as I did (although accidentely) drop down, and go from room start. If you
choose to drop, go North. Push block North, go East, North, push block North,
go West, go North, push block North, go West & step on fifth panel.
Now, go East, push block East, go North an step on the Final Panel.
Here I again fell down (It was before I fgured out to use the directional
buttons to move on narrow paths), so if you want to continue from the place
you are at, I can't really help you. Sorry.
Drop down, go North, push block North, go East, push block East, go South, take
door here.

Phew, that was the worst part. It won't be long before you are save now, don't
worry. In the next room, go North, then West. Go North around the hole, then
South to door. Very carefully, go to pressure-pad and open the door, then go
through it. Now go south, and drop down, continuing South. In next room, go
South again.
Hey Presto! You are out! Go you! You will now have full HP, full VIT and
full ECN! Yay, are we happy now or what? Now go to Secret Garden again,
and talk to Florina. You can now start to grow stuff. Look at section 4 for
more info about that :)

-=#Side-quest accomplished!#=-

*****************************************************************************

4: Gardening!

Well, the game actually describes everything... But I'll do it, in case you
missed something :)

Talk to Florina. Choose "Gardening".
Now you have 3 commands available, and 8 small windows. These windows are
where you can see your plants when you've planted them.

Command "Sow": If you choose this command, you can plant a plant, if you have
one of them, and is willing to sacrifice one of them. You can see what plants
it will be possible to raise in this window. The ones in gray are the ones you
haven't sacrificed one of yet.

Command "Breeding": If you choose this command, you can breed a seedling. What
does this do, you might ask. Well, it is rather simple. Every plant has an
initial rate of succes. Every time you make a seedling, you'll  raise the
chance of succes.

Command "Harvest": Well, this is rather obvious. You can harvest the plants
that are fully grown. You can carry 99 of each plant, and if the number of
plants in your inventory exceeds that, there is room for an additional 99 in
here.

4.1: How does gardening work?

[This information is strictly courtesy of Split Infinity.
I probably could have made this myself, but I would've ever figured this out
myself, and without this info, this FAQ would seem very empty! So thanks!]

Gardening is based on a counter point system. A counter point (CP from now on)
system means that you gain points for events that you do in the game (the
explanation will continue throughout this FAQ, just be patient).

Game event                           | Counter points accumulated
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Staying at an inn                    | +20 Points
Going from one town to another       | +10 Points
One whole battle sequence            | +5 Points
Each minute of gameplay              | +1 Point
Talking with NPCs in towns           | +1 Point

There are eight boxes to sow a plant. The plant in each individual box needs a
certain amount of CP to grow. The good thing is CP are not shared between all
the boxes. So if you gain 25 CP, each box gets 25 CP.

Plant        | CP needed to grow one | Plant       | CP needed to grow one
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Full Carrot  | 100 Points            | Mega Berry  | 100 Points
Holy Root    | 50 Points             | Mini Carrot | 50 Points
Potion Berry | 50 Points             | Heal Berry  | 25 Points
Revive Fruit | 25 Points             | Tiny Flower | 25 Points

Let's say you have two boxes with Heal Berries sown and you gain 25 CP. You
should get two Heal Berries.

There is a catch to growing plants. Even though you may have acquired the
appropriate amount of CP to grow one of the plants you have sown, the plant has
a probability that it will fail to grow. Each plant has a probability it starts
out with of growing successfully.

Plant        | Probability the plant will grow successfully after acquiring
            | the appropriate CP
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Heal Berry   | 70%
Revive Fruit | 60%
Potion Berry | 50%
Holy Root    | 40%
Mega Berry   | 30%
Mini Carrot  | 20%
Full Carrot  | 10%
Tiny Flower  | 5%

Although some plants have a very low percentage of successfully growing, you
can do something about this, namely breeding. Each time you breed a plant, you
use up one of the plant you are breeding in your inventory and permanently add
1% to the probability that the plant you are breeding will grow successfully.
You can breed all plants to 100%.

[/This information is strictly courtesy of Split Infinity.
I probably could have made this myself, but I would've ever figured this out
myself, and without this info, this FAQ would seem very empty! So thanks!]

For every 10% you breed a plant, Florina
will say something new to you, when you've breeded.

*****************************************************************************

5: Growing Items fast. What do I need, and how will it work?

You will need 4 objects (besides you PS2 and and TV).
2 Rubber bands (relatively strong)
1 Auto-fire/Turbo-fire Joypad
1 stop-watch.

After you've gotten a hold of these items, boot up your PS2, and load up
Wild Arms 3 (Make sure that the auto-fire/turbo-fire joypad is inserted,
I won't take responsibility if your joypad gets broken).

                            ******************

5.1: Secret Garden.

Go to Secret Garden, and plant something in all 8 flower "pots".

                            ******************

5.2: Baskar Village.
Go to Baskar Village. Go to Gallows house (the one with the beds in it).
"Use" a bed. When your character wakes up, activate the
auto-fire/turbo-fire function, and now take out your rubberbands! Put one
on the "Left" directional button, and the other on the "X" button, so that
you will go left, and activate the beds (eg. go to sleep) all the time.
Now, go do something else.
Heat a microwave dinner.
Watch some television.
PLay with yourself.
I don't care!
Just do remember to use a stop-watch, and set it for a half hour! When the
half hour is up, go to your PS2, deactivate the
auto-fire/turbo-fire function, and go to Secret Garden! Harvest your stuff,
and plant some new stuff (the stuff you plant will die after a certain amount
of time (haven't figured this out amount of time yet, if I ever do, I will
update this faq with it.))

                            ******************

5.3: Secret Garden again.
Now that you are back, harvest the things that have grown, plant some new
stuff, and breed alot. When you're done with breeding, go back to Baskar
Village and repeat steps 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3 until you've gotten all of the
plants breeded all the way up. When you've done this, you'll get an
EX file key. Probably the easiest way to get one in the entire game
(one might argue that beating Balal Quo Nagua the second time is easier, and
maybe that is right...)

*****************************************************************************

6.0: Rewards for breeding!

When you've breeded the Heal Berries all the way up, you can buy them in the
Black Market. The same goes for Potion Berries and revive fruits.
Also, when you've breeded any item 100%, you'll get Dried Flower,  a gear that
will give you the PS "Green Finger", which increases the power of healing
objects (not Arcana). (NOTE: Some dude told me that it's the first plant
that you breed 100%, and not, as first stated, heal berries... so I post it
here. Dude, I kinda deleted your email :/ Mail me again, if you want to be
given credit!)
When you've breeded all the plants 100%, you will get an EX File Key
from Florina. Go you.

*****************************************************************************

7.0: Other Stuff...

After you've gotten both the tool [Radar] and [Changecrest]

*****************************************************************************
8.0: Credits!
