have anything to add, please do so. Otherwise... do not bother.
Strategies, corrections, notes, or anything to help to make the F.A.Q. better
for the gamers, you are welcome. Other than that, sit back and enjoy life...
Oh, one more thing. Full credit and acknowledgement is mentioned at the
bottom of the F.A.Q. for those who did a good job in translating some of the
missions or helped me in anyway. Be sure to check your name there and if it is

S Rank Missions:
----------------
1)Find 18 Gold Scrolls
=======================
These scrolls can be found in the stages. One scroll in each stage:
1-Ramen Shop:
Hit the 3 lamps once.
2-Hokage rock faces:
Destroy the faces then jump on the tree in the middle of the faces, then jump
until it appears.
3-Chunnin exam arena:
Enter the left hole and exit through the right hole 3 times.
4-Roof of the chunnin exam (on fire):
Jump and air dash from the head of the snake to the head of the frog, then from
frog to snake. Do it multiple times.
5-44 Forest of Death:
Hit the silver fish 3 times.
6-Roof with giant fishes:
Stay on the upper part of the tail from the left stone fish when the wind blows.
7-Zabuza's home:
Stay on the upper part of the roof.
8-Birdge (foreground):
Wait a few seconds on the game clock while standing on the boat.
9-Sand Ruins:
Hit objects carried by the sand tornado.
10-Sand City:
Hit the vending machine.
11-Training spot (where Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura trained with Kakashi):
Destroy wood targets until it appears.
12-Hot spring bridge:
I don't the exact way to get it, but each time I fought jiraya in the stage it
appears on the right side of stage BEFORE I destroyed the right wall leading to
the spring.
13-Trees:
Destroy all the branches.
14-Swamp:
Hit the head of the giant snake (5 times I think).
15-Gambling City:
Hit the vending machine.
16-Snowing stage:
Hit wood targets until it appears.
17-4th Hokage tombstone:
Hit your opponent's support character multilpe times (5 or 6).
18-Ice shrine:
Hit your opponent's support character multiple time (5 or 6).
2)Fight each character 3 times
===============================
Go to Vs. Mode and fight every character with all of the characters three
times (99 times in all for one character).
You might think this is a bit tiring if you are new to the game. Look at the
bottom of the F.A.Q. for some advices.
As for the old timers, I think that they are more than willing to do it,
because it is nothing compared to before (first game).
39 support characters for each character.
3)Finish Practice Mode with each character
==========================================
Easy. Just go to the Practice Mode, select any character and then complete
his move-list.
4)Unlock all 33 characters
==========================
By the time you finish the RPG/Story Mode, you will notice that there are 31
characters.
Only Hyuuga Hinata & Naruto in Lee's suit are the hidden ones.
1-Naruto, Rock lee version (Aoi Makemono):
In the 2nd story, play Gai's handstand minigame and beat him with a good time
and then find Gai (after the fight) at Konoha street. He'll tell you to buy
some suit. Go buy Gai's suit, then talk to him again. He'll tell you to meet
him at the secret trainning spot. Go to the lake beside the street that you buy
stuff (swamp). After handstand race you, you will have to fight him then get it.
2-Hyuuga Hinata:
At the very start of the snd story, find her in Konoha at your left. Talk to
her then go to her father (near the Chunnin exam arena) and talk to him. He'll
tell you to find Neji. You'll find Neji at the Chunnin exam arena. Use Hinata
to defeat him. Once you win, you will get to use Hyuuga Hinata.
P.S. Someone managed to complete the mission after he used the code to unlock
the two secret characters (after finishing RPG/Story Mode). However, using the
code to unlock "all" the characters from the very start WILL NOT let you complete
this mission. So, there you go, hero!
5)Collect all cards
===================
Buy them in Jiraiya's Store. DO NOT buy them unless you have max money of
9,999,999. Just to finish six S Rank Missions in a row.

Well, this fight is so funny. Poor Naruto! ^_^
Super level 3 and then any combo and then throw and he should be dead easily.
BIG difference between Sasuke and Itachi in the manga, anime and the game. Heh!
12)Mission S-12

Vs. Gai
-Win
-Opponent must not hit you
-Low gravity
Zabuza is the man when it comes to perfect fights or full chakra fights. Or
if you have his Jutsu (Suiton Tsuiryudan no Jutsu).
All you have to do is maintain your distance and then spam Suiton Tsuiryudan
no Jutsu then full chakra strategy until he dies.
An easy fight...

Mission A-1

Vs. Orochimaru
-Win by time over
-Throw the enemy over the ledge 6 times
-Your life must be at or above 50%
-Opponent has increased speed
Tsunade is your best choice here. Doing up up + circle will heal you. That
goes to her Super Move level 3 as well.
First throw him over the ledge and then do the level 3 super and turtle. If
your life bar goes lower than 50% then do as I said above.
Mission A-2

Vs. Sabaku no Gaara
-Win
-Opponent has increased defense
-Opponent must not obtain any items
-Do Kawarimi 6 times
Gaara likes to block a lot. All you need to do is force him to hit you by
getting near him. He will throw one after another, be ready to Kawarimi. His
attacks are so easy to Kawarimi. When you complete the six Kawarimis, do level
3 super and keep attacking him. When he defends anything, throw and keep
throwing.
If his support character appears or about to pick up any item, either go to
him/he and punch he/her or focus on attacking Gaara.
Mission A-3
===========
Vs. Kisame
-Win
-Opponent has increased attack
-Your life must be at or above 80%
-Must finish with full chakra
AGAIN, Zabuza is the man when it comes to perfect fights or full chakra
fights. Or if you have his Jutsu (Suiton Tsuiryudan no Jutsu).
All you have to do is maintain your distance and then spam Suiton Tsuiryudan
no Jutsu then full chakra strategy until he is about to die. Then finish him
with a throw or any painful item.
Another easy fight...
Mission A-4
===========
Vs. Haku
-Win
-Opponent has increased speed
-You start with 10% of life
Level 3 super and then painful combo. Tsunade should be the one here. Heal
yourself as long as you long.
Zabuza's cheap Jutsu is also helpful here. Haku is fast and does Kawarimi at
ease.
Mission A-5
===========
Vs. Sarutobi
-Win by time over
-You cannot use special attacks
-You have decreased defense
-You start with 10% of life
Sarutobi is bad compared to the other guys in A Rank Missions. X, X then
throw, is more than good here. Attack and then when he defends, throw. That
simple.
Kisame and Zabuza are more than welcome to use here. You can eat him alive
with any character anyway.
Mission A-6
===========
Vs. Orochimaru
-Win
-Opponent has increased defense
-Beat him within 30 seconds
-Do Oiuchi 6 times (throw then forward + circle)
Do not think that he can do anything. Run and then throw and Oiuchi right
away. If Orochimaru jumps a lot or does anything stupid, go near him and then
punch then wait and throw right away (cheap fighting strategy).
Mission A-7
===========
Vs. Orochimaru
-Win
-You have low gravity
-Opponent has health regain
-Beat him within 60 game seconds
Naruto's level 3 super is insane. If his stats are okay (3 at least) you
should be able to charge chakra like crazy. So, after level 3, do down circle
circle and then when he gets up throw him. If it did not work, turtle and
charge your chakra and do another level 3 super.
Mission A-8
===========
Vs. Orochimaru
-Win
-Do Kawarimi 6 times
-Orochimaru must not hit you
Zabuza (or his Jutsu) returns.
This is one of the easiest missions in the A Rank Missions. Orichimaru's
throw is so easy to Kawarimi and he likes to throw when you are near him.
Get near him and Kawarimi his throws constantly. Then when you complete it,
run away and do his Justu, Suiton Tsuiryudan no Jutsu. The charge your Chakra
and repeat the same strategy.
Mission A-9
===========
Vs. Kakashi
-Win
-Opponent must not obtain any items
-You cannot use Jutsu
-You cannot use special attacks
This stage is nasty.
Anyway, Haku is recommended for his awesome speed (or Gai or Lee). Corner
Kakashi and do not let him get anywhere. There is a small tree at the right
corner that you might be careful not to leave alone. Whenever you knock Kakashi
down, hit the tree to get the item and then continue with the tactic.
If Kakashi runs away to collect items, THROW HIM. Jiraiya's throw is the
cheapest in the game. So you might want to use him too.
Powering up your stats is a very good idea.
Mission A-10
============
Vs. Jiraiya
-Do Kawarimi 6 times
-Do trade hits three times
-Opponent has increased attack
Jiraiya is easy to Kawarimi. For trading hits 3 times, choose Hinata and do
her up + circle constantly without following up. It will work most of the time.
Or choose Jiraiya if you want.
Mission A-11
===========
Vs. Itachi
-Win
-Opponent has increased attack
-Recover from a fall three times
-Do Kawarimi 6 times
This mission is bleh. You know how to Kawarimi. Only you have to practice a
bit with the recovery from a fall by pressing the X button before touching the
ground.
Get near him to force him to throw you to do what you have to.

Mission B-1

Vs. Zabuza
-Win
-You have decreased speed
-Do Kawarimi 6 times
-Opponent has increased attack
Zabuza is so slow. So, it should be easy for you to Kawarimi his attacks.
After that, finish him off with a level 3 super then any combo.
Mission B-2
===========
Vs. Jiraiya
-Win
-Must finish Jiraiya with a throw
-Opponent must be finished with no chakra
-Your life must be at or above 50%
Choose Kisame then do his level 2 super but do not continue. Save the damage
for his up + circle circle. That should eat almost most of his chakra.
Then when he is about to die, throw him. Simple as that.
Mission B-3
===========
Vs. Kabuto
-Win
-Beat him within 60 seconds
-Opponent has increased health regain
-Opponent has increased attack
Naruto's level 3 super is insane. If his stats are okay (3 at least) you
should be able to charge chakra like crazy. So, after level 3, do down circle
circle and then when he gets up throw him. If it did not work, turtle and
charge your chakra and do another level 3 super.
Mission B-4
===========
Vs. Shizune
-Win
-Your life must be at or above 50%
-Opponent has increased health regain
-Opponent has increased defense status
The same as the above mission.
Naruto's level 3 super is insane. If his stats are okay (3 at least) you
should be able to charge chakra like crazy. So, after level 3, do down circle
circle and then when he gets up throw him. If it did not work, turtle and
charge your chakra and do another level 3 super.
Mission B-5
===========
Vs. Neji
-Win
-Opponent has byakugan
-You must finish with full chakra
-Beat him within 60 seconds
AGAIN, and again and again... Zabuza is the man when it comes to perfect
fights or full chakra fights. Or if you have his Jutsu (Suiton Tsuiryudan no
Jutsu).
All you have to do is maintain your distance and then spam Suiton Tsuiryudan
no Jutsu then full chakra strategy until he is about to die. Then finish him
with a throw or any painful item.
Mission B-6
===========
Vs. Gaara
-Win
-Do Kawarimi 3 times
-Beat him within 30 seconds
Run towards him to force him to throw you, then Kawarimi anything he does.
After that, super level 3, down circle circle and throw if needed.
Mission B-7
===========
Vs. Sasuke
-Win
-Do Kawarimi 6 times
-Your life must be at or above 80%
-Opponent has increased attack
Sasuke tends to change his pattern sometimes, but he likes to run a lot.
Force him to attack you by attacking him and then get ready to Kawarimi.
When you are done and your life is lower than 80%, heal. That means Tsunade.

Mission B-8

Vs. Gai
-Win
-Opponent has increased attack
-Opponent has increased defense
-You start with 10% of life
Choose Zabuza. Perform Suiton Tsuiryudan no Jutsu then charge your chakra
when the opponent is down. repeat.
Mission B-9

Vs. Tsunade
-Win
-Beat her within 30 game seconds
-Opponent has increased health regain
-Opponent has increased attack
This is a bit nasty.
Jiraiya is the man here. Do level 3 super then chrage your chakra until she
gets up. Do his NASTY throw and charge again. When she wakes up, level 1 super
and repeat the same tactic.
If she DEFENDS anything, throw.
Mission B-10
===========
Vs. Shizune
-Win
-You have poison
-You start with 0% of chakra
-Low gravity
Tsunade makes this fight pretty easy.
Do her level 3 super and then attack and do knockdown moves to charge your
chakra to keep yourself healing for a bit. Then attack again when she stands
again. Tsunade is pretty powerful when it comes to this kind of fights.
Mission B-11
===========
Vs. Gai
-Win
-Do trade hits three times
-You cannot block attacks
-Your life must be at or above 30%
Choose Gai or Hinata and start doing up + circle without following up and Gai
should try to attack to trade hits.
Maintain your distance until he runs to you, and then do the strategy.
Mission B-12
===========
Vs. Temari
-Win
-Low gravity
-Must knock her out with Ouichi
-Do Kawarimi 6 times
Go near her and force her to attack you to Kawarimi. Then fight her like
anyone else and when she is about to die, throw then Ouichi.
Mission B-13
===========
Vs. Tenten
-Win
-You must not be hit
-Opponent has increased speed
Tenten likes to throw a lot of items... like, konjyou no omori, tokusyu
ningu, Fuuma Shuriken and so on.
So, it goes down to this sweet strategy:
Zabuza: Suiton Tsuiryudan no Jutsu!
Tenten: Ouch.
Tenten gets knocked... then gets up again...
Zabuza: Suiton Tsuiryudan no Jutsu!
Tenten: OUCH!
For the fourth time, Tenten gets knocked...
Zabuza: HAAAAAAAAA (charging chakra)!!!!
Tenten stands up again...
Zabuza: Suiton Tsuiryudan no Jutsu!
Tenten: WAAAAAAH!!!
And so on.... ^_^
Mission B-14

Vs. Gai
-Win
-Get 3 items from support character
Easy. Turtle and wait for your support character to show up and then get the
item for three times. Then when you complete it, ATTACK.
Mission B-15
===========
Vs. Kakashi
-Win by time over
-You are poisoned
-You start with 0% of Chakra
-Opponent has increased speed
Tsunade is the good choice here.
Do her level 3 super and then attack and do knockdown moves to charge your
chakra to keep yourself healing for a bit. Then attack again when he stands
again.
When he is about to die, turtle or keep running and heal whenever needed.
Mission B-16
===========
Vs. Gai
-Win
-Opponent has increased defense
-Must hit enemy once every second!
Jiraiya is good because his throw is cheap and makes his opponent fall behind
him.
Do level 3 super then when he gets up, X, X and throw and keep it up like
that until the end. Nothing beats Jiraiya's level 2 super by the way. ^_^
Mission B-17

Vs. Jiraiya
-Win
-Opponent has increased attack
-You must have at least 3 different items
-Your life must be at or above 80%
The cute girl, Tenten, is needed here. Or her Jutsu for that matter. Do her
up, up + circle Jutsu to get different items and then finish the fight with
whatever strategy you have in mind.
Mission B-18
===========
Vs. Shizune
-Win
-Do Kawarimi 3 times
-You must stand on water for 60 Seconds
Itachi is cool here.
Kawarimi her attacks first then do his level 2 super but do not follow up.
Stand on the water and charge your chakra as long as you like.
After 60 seconds (overall), a confirmation will pop up. Now you can kill her
with this so cold fella. ^_^

This is easy. Super level 3 and any combo with Naruto, Haku or anyone else

-Opponent has increased speed
For range and damage, Gaara is good here. And so is Zabuza. Level 3 super
then down + circle circle and then throw when he gets up.
Mission C-3

Vs. Rock Lee
-Win
-Must hit Enemy once every second!
-Opponent has increased attack
Again, Jiraiya is good because his throw is cheap and makes his opponent fall
behind him.
Do level 3 super then when he gets up, X, X and throw and keep it up like
that until the end.
Mission C-4

Vs. Gai
-Win
-Must beat him by knocking him out of the ledge/roof
-No ground attacks
-No special attacks
All you have to do is spam X, X to start an air combo and then when he is
about to die, knock him out with a throw.

Zabuza's tactic is what you want to use here. Look at mission No. B-5.
Mission C-6

Vs. Kiba
-Win
-Opponent must die with no chakra
-Your life must be at or above 50%
Choose Kisame then do his level 2 super but do not continue. Save the damage

Mission C-10

Vs. Kakashi

-Must finish with 2/3 from the chakra bar filled
-Do Oiuchi 3 times (throw then forward + circle)
Read C-7. Just be sure to have enough chakra before you end the fight. ^_^
Mission C-11

-You cannot use Jutsu
-You cannot use special attacks
Itachi, Haku, Gai and Lee are good because they are fast. Always do combo
attacks with a good throw at the end. Keep on and you shall pass.
Mission C-12

Vs. Jiraiya

-You cannot use special attacks
-You have decreased defense
Do Jutsu attack like Zabuza's or Dotou's and keep them coming. Charge your
chakra whenever needed and continue. Throw when he gets near you or run and do
the Jutsu.

-You cannot use Jutsu
-You cannot use special attacks
-Your life must be at or above 50%
X, X, circle, circle then backward + circle, circle is great. As long as you
are on the air, you are save not to get any painful combo after the Kawarimi.

-Beat him within 30 game seconds
-Must hit enemy once every second!
Again, Jiraiya is good because his throw is cheap and makes his opponent fall
behind him.
Do level 3 super then when he gets up, X, X and throw and keep it up like

And then kill the enemy.

Fast character are helpful here. Do level 3 super and any combo. Just do not
block.
Mission D-6

Vs. Kakashi

Zabzua's tactic again. Read C-5.
Mission D-7

Vs. Hinata

-Lowered status
Tsunade is good here. beat her a bit to lower her life bar. When you are
wounded, heal. Repeat and run as long as you like.

-Beat him within 60 game seconds
Begin with a level 3 super and attack. When he defends, throw. Just beat him
as if you were playing a normal fight.
Mission D-9

Vs. Chouji

Super Moves with increased attack status are very sueful here. Like Naruto's,
Zabuza's, Haku's and so on.
When you land the super, throw and combo then throw.
Mission D-10

Vs. Chouji

-Chouji must not hit you
Zabzua's tactic again in mission C-5.
Mission D-11
===========
Vs. Sakura
-Win
-Opponent has increased attack
-Opponent has increased status
Also, this is an easy fight. Fight and normally you will finish it.
Mission D-12

Vs. Sarutobi
-Win
-Do not use special attacks
-Beat him within 60 game seconds
You cannot use Super Moves, so you are stuck with the Jutsu moves. This
mission screams "Suiton Tsuiryudan no Jutsu." ^_^
Mission D-13

Vs. Tenten

-Use only items
-Opponent has increased speed
Again, Tenten is cool here. Do her up, up + circle Jutsu and use whatever you
get and you will win easily.
Mission D-14

Vs. Gai
-Win
-You have decreased speed
-Opponent has increased speed
Yet, a normal fight for you. Start with a Super Move and end it with whatever
you want.

Tips:
-----
Now you want to finish the S Rank Missions in one go. What I did was, I
divided everything in days, because I did not and still have no time to play
for a long time. So, for one day I do these:
-Power up some characters' stats until I get 1,000,000 money. Then move on to
Sakura's minigame and collect another 1,000,000. Then finish Practice Mode with
Seven Characters and beat everyone three times with six characters.
After the sixth day, I completed all the S Rank Missions. Sometimes I do not
have time to do any of these in one day, but luckily I have a brother and he
loves it too (twins and we love it). So, we take turns. And we managed to
complete everything.
I hope this helps in a way or another. Random missions give 250 EXP and more
than 30,000 money, but hard to come by. That would be all. ^_^

This section is just for those who finished ALL the missions (D, C, B, A and
S Rank Missions). This makes their game at least 80% complete. Powering up all
the characters and finding all the Jutsu moves is the other 20%. Missions are
the important part since I HIGHLY doubt anyone managed to finish the first
game's S rank Missions without CHEATING. People should ask those who finished
them, because they know what they are talking about (second game I mean).

Well, back to your question. This is a fighting game! So, all there is left
to you is to find some friends and have fun with them while you are still at it.
That what makes me like fighting games more than other games, because I am
not stuck to only complete everything and then move on to another game. I always
play with my friends and have lots of fun. I would prefer to play with anyone
anyday than powering up the stats or do anything. That is why I bought the game
in the first time... otherwise I would buy an RPG game. ^_^
