1. Introduction

The Minigames can be found in the Narutimate Road Mode (in other words, the
RPG mode). Each are available only at specific times during the course
of the game, and the locations may change as well. Generally the minigames
will only be available in Chapter 1 and 4 and only some in Chapter 2.

These are the 6 Mingames that you can play in Narutimetto Hero 2.

2.1 Lee's Push-ups
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Characters: Naruto VS Lee
Location: Survival Training Area (Three Logs)
Controls: O button
Objective: Win 2 out of 3 rounds
Description: Perform push-ups by rapidly hitting the O button. The one who
has the most push-ups by the end of 10 seconds wins the round. The game ends
when a character has won 2 rounds.
Reward: 5000 Ryou - Normal Win
8000 Ryou - Special Win
Special Win: Win 2 rounds in a row.
Strategy: HIT THAT BUTTON AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!
Misc: If you tie with Lee, he wins the round.
Special Win 3 times to get the Hint Scroll

2.2 Gai's Posings
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Characters: Naruto VS Gai
Location: Chuunin Examination Stadium
Controls: D-pad, Button-pad
Objective: Win 5 out of 8 rounds
Description: Take note of the commands that Gai does, then mimic them by
pressing the appropriate commands on your controller. The game ends when
Naruto has successfully mimicked Gai in 5 matches.
Reward: 8000 Ryou - Normal Win
10000 Ryou - Special Win
Special Win: Win 5 rounds straight without failing once.
Strategy: Unless you have a good memory, this mini-game can get a little
difficult. Fortunately, the order of the buttons comes out slowly
which should give you some time to jot them down on a piece of
paper. Otherwise, just try to remember. The game starts at two
commands and maxes out at 6 commands.
Misc: Special Win 3 times to get the Hint Scroll

2.3 Gai's Handstand Race
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Characters: Naruto VS Gai
Location: Heroes' Monument
Controls: Button-pad ([] button and O button)
Objective: Beat Gai to the finish line.
Description: Alternately press the [] and O buttons to make Naruto move along
the course. The faster you alternate, the faster the speed. There are two laps
in a match and the game ends when Gai or Naruto cross the finish line after
those two laps.
Reward: 11000 Ryou - Normal Win
20000 Ryou - Special Win
Special Win: Finish the course in less than 1:08:00
Strategy: Now this is a difficult minigame. Gai is pretty fast in his own
right, so you're just gonna have to be faster. Make sure to keep
your rhytum going as it is easy to lose track of what you're
pressing. Also there are nin-dogs that will try and obstruct your
path to the finish line. There are two kinds of situations
involving the dogs, the RED and the BLUE. The RED situation is when
there is red text when the text pops up when you are approaching a
dog. Stop before the dog so you don't get hit. If you are hit, you
lose time by being on the ground. The BLUE situation is when there
is blue text instead. Hurry and pass the dog before it attacks.
Depending on the situation, these dogs can help you if you time it
that Gai gets hit by them. If you don't get hit, and manage to stay
ahead of Gai, it is very possible to get a Special Win.

2.4 Shikamaru's Shadow Imitations

Characters: Naruto VS Shikamaru
Location: Chuunin Examination Stadium
Controls: Button-pad
Objective: Win 5 out of 8 rounds
Description: Take note of the commands that Shikamaru does, then mimic them by
pressing the appropriate commands on your controller. The game ends when
Naruto has successfully mimicked Shikamaru in 5 matches.
Reward: 5000 Ryou - Normal Win
8000 Ryou - Special Win
Special Win: Win 5 rounds straight without failing once.
Strategy: The same as Gai's minigame, but a lot easier since the only things
you have to remember are the buttons. If you still need to, you can
take note of the commands to be sure of your victory.

2.5 Tanzakugai-machi Slots
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Characters: Naruto
Location: Tanzakugai-machi
Controls: [] button, A button, O button, D-pad (Down only)
Objective: Gain as much points as possible
Description: Press down to start the slots. Press the [], A and O buttons to
stop the left, center and right reels respectively. If there is a match, then
you gain coins. These coins can then be exchanged for money (Ryou).
Exchange Rate: 1000 Ryou = 50 Coins
Winning Combinations: 3 Snakes - 3 coins
3 Frogs - 3 coins
3 Slugs - 3 coins
Bonus: Triple 7s = 15 bonus reels with 15 or 20 coin gain + 20 coins
Triple Naruto = 20 bonus reels with 50 or 100 coin gain + 100 coins
Note: Bonus mode always makes the reels match
Reward: Coins X 20 = Payout in Ryou
Strategy: Ok, this game is the best way to earn cool hard cash as the maximum
payoff of this game, given the initial bet of 1000 Ryou is 198980
Ryou. There is a maximum of 9999 coins so any excess over that is
lost. It is advisable to cash in when you reach that number.
The main point of the game is to get the bonus reels, especially the
big bonus as it can give you around 1000 coins easily. Luck is the
dominant factor of this game so it can either take a short while or
a long time to get these bonuses. During the bonus reels, one of the
reels will be highlighted. This means that you must stop this reel
first or else you will not be able to get the maximum number of
coins for that particular set. There are two sounds that will tell
you if you got the high or low bonus. A normal CHING sound means
the low bonus, while the BAMBOO sound signifies the high bonus.
Misc: This minigame is a requirement to get one of Tsunade's jutsus. The coin
requirement is 3000.

2.6 Sakura's Tree Climbing

Characters: Naruto
Location: Konoha Forest
Controls: D-pad (Left and Right)
Objective: Complete the Course in 250 seconds
Description: Climb to the top of tree. Use the D-pad to dodge the obstacles in
your way. Get the speed-up items to increase your speed.
Reward: 15000 Ryou - Normal Win
30000 Ryou - Special Win
Special Win: Complete the course in less than 1:20:00
Strategy: Other than the Slots minigame, this is the other fast way to earn
cash, Especially with the Special Win.
The game is basically an obstacle course. You start at the bottom
and move up from there. Use the Left and Right buttons to avoid
the various branches and stumps in the way and to get the speed-up
items. The layout of the tree changes every game, but basically
the bottom is fairly uncluttered, while the middle and top areas
are very cluttered. Also, getting hit twice is enough to disqualify
you from getting the Special win, so presence of mind and quick
reflexes are a must. The best method to dodge the obstacles is by
using the d-pad and not the analog stick. Also, do the minigame
many times to familiarize yourself with your reaction time and the
patterns of obstacles that usually appear. Given some time, it will
be easy to get the Special Win.

Hint Scrolls: There are 5 of these scrolls that are obtained by getting
3 Special Wins in each of the 5 Konoha minigames. These
scrolls give hints on how to get the special scrolls in
each stage.
